This is the second book I've read from this author and I found this one to be just as good as the previous one. I really enjoyed the set up, the little facts sprinkled throughout, and the good night ending. These books make really nice ones to read at night with your little ones and will teach you a few things as you read which considering how often kids ask for books to be re-read is always a good thing.
I also enjoyed how this book was more focused on the modern day celebrations and where they came from instead of focusing on the more religious aspects of the holiday. I think this makes it a bit more relevant for those who enjoy the holiday but aren't particularly religious. And I didn't know some of those facts despite being the one in charge of our office's trivia games!
I'm definitely looking forward to more books in this series to share with my children.

These books by R. J. Hudson come in a series. This particular one is fun, short, and exciting to read in short spurts. You will love the snack bites of factoids woven into rhymes, making learning about Christmas and all things Christmas, FUN! This is a must-read for parents/guardians as Christmas is fast approaching! Little ones will love the rhymes and may even find a developing interest in poetry. I know my little one did! This is not a standard picture book so definitely something to read out loud while driving somewhere for your Christmas party, or before bedtime! Thank you to the author for sharing this because this one’s going on my Christmas list.
