Mark’s heart and Soul
This is the fifth installment in the Embrace Series. With each book you read, you fall more in love with them, get more tangled in their lives, and want more of their story.
Mark is a wolf shifter and just happens to be the alpha of his pack and overseer lord of all shifters in Wrightwood. He has a mate that is the love of his life, which Jewel just happens to be a half angel. When you bring a wolf and an angel together, life is never dull, in the continuation of Mark and Jewel’s life.
There were some very intense moments in this book, where I was crying and saying WT heck. Mark is in danger, where he’s facing things that will affect his life and everyone else’s. It leaves him trying to figure out what to do or what can be done, to save himself, for his life is on the line.
There’s a lot more intense moments that happen in this book, but I don’t want to spoil anyone’s read, but I will tell you this, it kept me on my toes, forced me to want more, and got me to turn the page to see what was coming next.
Which you’ll never guess. It’s shocking! Oh, and there were a few surprises that happened, that made me cry happy tears too. Can never forget, there’s some really hot and smoking adult scenes around every corner!
Other words, there’s always something going on in Wrightwood. I enjoy laughing at one of my favorite character Pike, because you never know what is about to come out of his mouth, or what he’s going to do in the bantering department, because he seems to be the one who starts it, or is in the middle, or ends it between everyone that is involved. The way the bantering is written, you sure can feel the love and respect they have for each other. The Author has continued this throughout the series.
Man, you better run and get this book, it’s so worth it. Each book keeps getting better and better, and I hope they will become part of your lives as they have mine.
