About the author

Martin lives in the East Midlands in the UK with his wife. He has three adult children and one granddaughter. In his early years, he enjoyed the freedom of wandering around fields and woodland near his home. As a teenager, his English teacher would always commend his creative writing as forward thinking and imaginative. Later he developed a passion for working with nature, learning, for instance, how earthworms were so important for the soil. This fascination led to him giving up his accounting business after twenty years and setting up a gardening and landscaping firm, promoting nature-friendly methods of maintenance such as composting and natural weed and bug control.

The Hybrid Trilogy (parts 1 & 2 are out) was inspired by the interconnection of all things on the earth and how this breakdown will bring the eco system crashing down. A dystopian story of two teens fighting to save not only the earth, but everyone in it.

Maisie G is a series inspired by all the action movies Martin loves so much. In Reluctant Assassin, Maisie is a self-assured teenager escaping the life of an assassin. However hard she tries she becomes embroiled in it again. The first of the series she finds her escaping unknown people trying to kill her. This forces her to find out about her real parents and why they were killed. This sends her on a path of revenge.
No Limits sees her under the wing of MI6 trying to get information out of her about her past life, whilst training her to work in a team. The operation she embarks on is dangerous, being told not to trust anyone. She must face an old adversary and try to get out alive!
