When I was in Barnes & Noble, looking for the latest thriller, I was suddenly compelled to look in the religion category. This book just called out to me.

I normally am very skeptical of books like this, but it Biblically checked out in every way. As I read it, I felt the Holy Spirit comforting me and present with me, as if to say, “It’s true.”

This is a must-read because this is our future and as Christians, we need to understand the message that the Lord blessed Randy Kay with and also spread the Lord’s word.

Before I read this book, I had gone back and forth with the Rapture, eventually deciding that it wouldn’t happen. Now, I am so comforted with God’s mercy, and also as the Holy Spirit will be taken from the world during the Tribulation, it makes sense that those who believe and love Jesus will be taken as well, because the Holy Spirit dwells within us.

This book left me feeling excitement and hope, although it’s a little disconcerting, because it’s such a different future than what I had imagined. But again, as I read this book, I felt the Holy Spirit with me. If this was not to be, I don’t think I would have felt Him.

I’m so thankful for Randy’s testimony and hope so many more people read this book.

SPIRITUAL POWER-UP

Do you want to understand your spiritual assignment and role in this season of Biblical history? Do you want to deepen your understanding of the significance of your life to God and the heavenly kingdom? This is the book for you!

As an aspiring Christian fantasy author, I have been researching the spiritual realm for years but have been left with many more questions than answers. That is, until John Burke’s “Imagine Heaven” illuminated the beautiful spiritual truths revealed by Christian NDE’s.

After that, I began praying for a spiritual mentor. In response, I felt that the spirit led me to encounter Randy Kay through his online presence. From there, I began to watch and follow his videos, starting with Bryan Melvin’s amazing account.

Afterwards, I discovered Randy’s book, “Revelations from Heaven” which was an answer to my prayer for theological guidance.

Finally, this year, the spirit prompted me that once I read “Heaven Stormed” and “Demon Copperfield” by Barbara Kingsolver (I’m a teacher in rural Appalachia so that book fits the profile of the population I’ve been called to serve) my background research for my novel would be complete.

I finished both books this week and what a blessing “Heaven Stormed” had been! Whether you are in full-time ministry, an NDE survivor, or simply seeking to deepen your understanding of the ways God can use you to prosper his kingdom, this book is full of profound insights that will empower you to move boldly forward into your calling.

Here are some key look-for gems: Randy’s personal testimony of his often painful but awe-inspiring walk of faith since childhood, a special post-NDE encounter with Jesus in Lake Tahoe, a glimpse into the Second Heaven and spiritual forces that battle every day on our behalf, the special promise God has spoken over our current “Joshua Generation,” the four seasons of fruit-bearing in our lives, the vision of God’s storm which testifies to the power of his presence & shields of protection that he has blessed us with today, and an exemplar encounter with a homeless man reminding us to never miss an opportunity to reach out to the lost.

This an unsolicited review, but I just want to close by saying how honored and grateful I am to Randy & his beautiful wife Renee for inviting me to be part of his book launch. I was especially amazed and humbled that I was given the honor of sharing my thoughts about his book at the online launch party.

I thank God for this author and his ministry and pray that God will bring these words of hope, wisdom, and encouragement to millions in the days to come!

Wonderful!

I really enjoyed reading this book. Randy seems to find it difficult to write down his profound spiritual experiences. But God’s love and grace are seen through and through. I recommend this book to anyone seeking more of God. Enjoy!

The personal narrative portion of this book was very compellingly written. I was gripped. When he entered heaven and began to interact with Jesus... I don't know. It feels so wrong to criticize that, but the interaction just felt way too self-aware, too sappy/gushy. It's not that it "didn't ring true for me," because I don't doubt him that it happened. But the way it's written just took me way out of the narrative. And also, there *was* no more narrative--the story dragged with all the blow-by-blow between him and Jesus about his life experiences that we'd already heard about. I thought there would be an end times revelation based on the book's synopsis, and there really wasn't; it was just a view of Revelation as seen from heaven. And I don't think it had anything (necessarily) to do with the timing of it because there's no time in heaven, either. When I realized I wasn't going to get anything else new, just from a new perspective, I stopped reading.

This book touched me on a soul-deep level. I found myself reading late into the night, tears streaming down my face, until I simply couldn’t hold their weight any longer. By morning, all I could think about was getting through my own writing so I could dive back in.

Having experienced heaven myself—not long ago—this book served as a beautiful confirmation of what I’ve seen, heard, and felt. It echoed truth, over and over again.

There are moments I miss Jesus so much it aches, and somehow, hearing more of Him and from Him in this book helped me process that longing. In this current season of waiting and seeking direction, His words to Randy felt like words spoken directly to me: "Trust My plan, daughter. I hold you tightly and have never let go."

I especially appreciated the research toward the end, including the insights into the Hebrew calendar and traditions. They added depth and beauty to the message. And the final chapters—especially the last one—were exactly what I needed this morning. God used them powerfully in my life.

I’ve already bought extra copies to give as gifts. This is more than a book—it’s a huge blessing. Read it, reflect, and ask God what He has next for you. You are part of His great plan, and time is of the essence.

After seeing Randy interviewed about this book and witnessing how deeply it touched him, my husband and I both wanted to read it. I listen to experiences like this with caution and don't assume anything. That being said, as I read this book, there was nothing I could find that would conflict with Scripture.

There were a few places where I wasn't sure what he meant, so I purchased the audiobook to hear it read in his own voice. That cleared up the interpretation of the sentences. (Plus, his voice is very soothing to listen to and his emotions come through at the appropriate times to help the listener understand his heart.)

The beginning of the book didn't seem related to visiting heaven at first, but turned out to be a key to understanding the following events.

I still read with caution, making sure it lines up with Scripture, but I did find this an interesting and encouraging book. I plan to read it again.

Randy Kay's experience with Father God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit will have you glued to this book! If you've ever wondered about how God has used not only the experiences you've been through, but people who walk in and out of our lives, this book has a wonderful explanation; one which is centered around the beautiful, unconditional love of our Creator. Randy Kay records the juxtaposition between his life experiences from the time of a little boy, on through his rebellious, agnostic young adult years, and into his born-again adult life here on earth, and in turn reveals just how God uses every aspect of our lives to save us and glorify His name; even when we don't think he is there. The God-given revelations that Jesus reveals to Randy in a momentary trip to heaven will have you looking at your life in a wonderfully different way!

This book will encourage you

I have thoroughly enjoyed this book and eagerly recommend it to both believers and non-believers alike. The personal stories of the author is endearing but even more so, as the experiences with the Lord put these stories in perspective and highlight their meaning. The narrative of the heavenly experience is so uplifting, touching and scary at the same time. But the message of love woven throughout is unmistakable. A must read for a time such as this!

Wow!! I LOVED this book!

There are books, and then there are books that change your perspective on life. This is one of those ‘change your perspective on life’ books. I felt the Holy Spirit’s confirmation of truth all throughout. The revelations from the Lord in this book highlight the sense of urgency we should all feel in these last days! We all need to step up for our God and His Kingdom!

God bless you, Randy!

Powerful Moments

There were powerful moments in this book but much of the time I felt like I wasn’t grasping…like the heavenly experiences weren’t translating to my earth brain. I struggled to connect his very personal experience to Scripture that I could apply to my life. I won this kindle version through a Goodreads giveaway and might have absorbed it better in paperback.

I thought this book was good, I believe it. I found the audio a bit hard to listen to as Rudy narrated with a lot of emotion and did a bit much, however I dont blame him! Some bold predictions regarding the end times at the end of the book, will order the physical so I can refer back to it when the storm comes.

Loved the storyline and listened via audible. The narration was very bad and he whispered so low throughout the book that I had no idea what he was saying, even with the volume on high. I would recommend but not by audible, buy the actual book! It was enlightening and interesting for those of us who are open minded about spirituality.

Very well written, couldn't put it down.
It's Amazing how episodes in Randy's earlier life were setting the stage. God was preparing Randy for what he would reveal later in his life, including his trip to heaven. Randy's whole life declares Gods sovereignty and his eternal love.
However it's not just a message God has for Randy it's also a message God has for you.

Seeing the end times

Was interesting how the future is painted from my perspective I had never thought of before. It is interesting and the warnings in it are very good. How do we approach the future and what can we do about? It has some things in it how to weather the storm.

Interesting Book About Heaven

I liked this book in some aspects, but do disagree with some of his conclusions such as a sweeping last days revival. Still, interesting insights on to heaven and the afterlife. Something that's needed today in our atheistic society.
