Crash is the first book in The Bleeding Hearts series. If you follow Ms Newton's books then you'll already know that her mother Cassie has her own series (Enchanted Hearts) and so does her sister Ruby (Deadly Hearts) which all precede this book. Trust me its definitely worth grabbing those books too because they will give you some insight to Scarlet's family and they are also bloody brilliant reads too.
Back to this book Scarlet is smart, sassy and fiercely independent. Which she needs to be in the business that shes in. Think of movies Ocean's Eleven meeting The Skull's (or at least i did) and you kinda get the gist of this book or near enough. Thats what Scarlet gets caught up in when 4 hot and mysterious men all pop up in her life but they have more reason to be there they are letting on.
Oh boy the plot twists and turns are just flaming killer!! In some cases quite literally!! Yes its dark in places, steamy and hot as hell but its the story that kept me gripped the whole way through it. With an ending that completely floored me! Ill be on tenterhooks until i get my hands on the 2nd book

Phenomenal story. This is book 1 in The Bleeding Hearts series by Eve Newton. Absolutely loved the story. There are triggers so please read the trigger warning before reading book.
Story hooked me in right from the beginning. Loved Scarlet( who just happens to be Ruby sister from the prior series) and her men. Book was very well written. No spoilers here. I will say once you start you will not be able to put it down. Highly highly recommend. I so cannot wait to read book 2. Loved it!!!

Once again, Eve does it! Crash is exceptional in every sense of the word. It’s tense, pacy and deliciously dark in the best way. This book had me second guessing with the twists and turns but left me intrigued and desperate for more. Eve has weaved her words around the darkest depths of my soul and doused my deepest desires whilst still delivering an enticing, engaging and enthralling plot line. This book taught to me expect the unexpected but, to still be surprised. It surpassed every expectation and set a high bar for the rest of the series, it was an incredible first foray into Scarlet’s story.
I love a strong woman. Scarlet is no exception to this rule. Badass to the core, the pillar of strength and a woman powerful enough to say no and know the value of it, she knows her worth and her wants. I loved that I got to live part of this journey through her eyes. She made me feel empowered. She made me feel like nothing was unattainable. She made me feel like I was worthy of anything, even the darkest desires. I love that she was so unashamed and unapologetically her. Her character and the development was an absolute standout for me.
The men. Goodness me, the men. Dark, dangerous and deliciously written, each had their own distinct personalities that fitted into the puzzle so beautifully. I fell in love with all the characters. Their backstories were so wonderfully weaved into this tale that nothing felt forced, it was a natural and organic introduction into them which I loved. So distinct in their ways, it was incredible to be able to have that backstory and perspective to see and understand through their eyes. I love when Eve does this anyway, however, I do feel that this really added to engagement of this narrative because it was so purposeful, so deep and so dark that it made your heart race, your pulse quicken and made you come alive and need more. I also love that each man had their chance. I love that I got to know them this way.
The sensual, seductive, sordid scenes left me hot under the collar and wishing for more. Written so intensely and so incredibly that they sent a thrill down my spine. I adored them. They served the story well also which is something Eve always does well.
Genuinely, this book has reignited my love for all things dark and dangerous and I’m so excited to read more!

Now I loved Scarlet's sister in Crush so I was unsure if I could love her as much, but damn she is just fantastic. Such a strong woman, who knows what she wants.
This story is just edge of your seat drama with some HEAT thrown in...it's super sexy heat.
I loved the twists and really really did not expect them and they are just one after the other and done so seamlessly and perfectly in that way that Eve does! I loved the cliffhanger as well, especially because sometimes you know why a cliffhanger happens the way it does but I really have no idea and I love it, I can't wait for the next book!
This is a definite must read, read it now!

The book I needed! Scarlet is absolutely incredible and at many points so relatible with anxiety and the fear of not fitting. She is strong and knows what she wants but has moments of doubt. Straight out of the gate we are hit with drool worthy men that just keep coming and I am dying for more! Be prepared for a dark twist that is so incredibly written you won't be able to put it down! I cannot wait for book two and highly recommend if you are looking for a dark, steamy, mysterious and twisted book! Eve has really done it again!

Loved loved it Scar is So One Of My favorite Female leads and I love her guys Hugo and Tristan and Miles. I did not love Maxwell until towards the end I am starting to love him and I am looking forward to reading more in this series.🥰❤

Fantastic read! Loved this start to the Bleeding Hearts series.
The twists will keep you on your toes and the steam will keep you wanting more. Scarlet is a fantastic FMC and I can not wait to see how the story progresses with her men.

It's a quick read. That being said, the characters aren't likable. Not one character in this book is likable. The main character, Scarlet, has an escort service, no sex. Fair enough, but then when all these men want her she becomes a slut for all of them. Needless to say, they bounce around the talk of love when it's all about lust and sex.

She may not be the queen of the underground like her sister but she is successful in her own right with an amazing work ethic that only helps to solidif how well her business is doing. Scarlet might have the appearance of an angel but at heart there is a questioning darkness that she has kept on lock down her whole life but when swarve and charming men come into her life she soon learns nothing will ever be the same again.
Max, Hugo, Tristan and Miles have had their sights and hearts set on Scarlet for years. They know everything there is to know about her, even more then she knows about herself. Not going to lie, this book had me ugly crying and I don’t mean the quick kind either. Several times I had to force myself to put the book down to realign my thoughts and feelings. To try and grasp a part of myself that didn’t feel betrayed and angry.
That realization that this FMC Scarlet Bellingham was more than capable and strong enough to take everything that she needed to for her guys, and make it through to the other side stronger than she had ever been before is what kept pushing me through…*as well as deep seated belief in our fab author Eve Newton to know how far to push our boundaries.*
But, yes…I was still mad! 🤣🤷🏻♀️ I’m truly not a fan of one of the guys Max… Her other guys really balance out the hot harem though! One sexy geek check, one sexy and cray executioner check, one overly possessive and yet psycho leader…check! One slightly shy…but seriously cray and underestimated funny man double check!

This Story start with great potential. Scarlett comes from money, yet has ventured to make her own money by owning her own Elite escort agency. She has protocols for the safety of her employees and herself and it starts of promising, she herself takes on clients and that where she meets one of the 4 men who are forever going to change her life. This is a RH and spicy at that. Each has their own flare, was not a fan of the "Daddy" trope so if you're like me might cringe as you read. However, if you're into the whole "Daddy" thing then enjoy. There is a whole world they will bring her into, a society where she is to be the doll. Yes, she has been selected years prior so, poor Scarlett has to grasp all the information of what her life will become. This book does leave in a cliffhanger, so have that in mind as you begin this journey. I personally wished they would have expanded her role as a CEO, I think it would have rounded her character a bit more. I am not against instant love if properly done, the instant love between the MFC and MMC was just not hitting for me. Luckily, the vibes with 2/4 guys was hitting.

Hmmm, well it is dark.
I’ve read a story similar to this before. It’s an ok read with a (currently) relatively strong FMC. I do have issues with it but I think that’s more of an ideological viewpoint.
Potential Spoiler
There is a DD:LG kink in play in this book it’s not my kind of thing at all, it’s actually a hard pass but that’s not the issue. The use of that particular kink is a deliberate manipulation plot device because the FMC has “daddy issues”. So one of the MMCs deliberately used that kink to play to her insecurities. That’s just plain wrong. It’s a deliberate disservice to those who actively engage in that kink. Whatever they get/ enjoy about that kink is being made a mockery of. I had hoped it would be dropped during the book because it’s being used to manipulate.
I’m debating whether to read the following books, part of me wants to see her pull down this whole “OS“ BS. Frankly there’s nothing original about this “Original Society” as clearly stated by the FMC in the basement scene with one of the former leaders.
It’s a fairly good read, it’s well paced and well written.

OMG!!! I was so excited for this book, y’all have no idea!! First and foremost, read the triggers please!!! It is not the author’s fault if you don’t read the triggers when you are warned and then you fail to like the book because it has things that you don’t agree with or it triggers you. Please read the triggers!!! Eve Newton did it again with another series following her moms’s Enchained Hearts and her sister’s Deadly Hearts.🖤If you have read neither series, I seriously encourage you to read both series before starting this one. It will fill you in with the backstory and you will get to meet some incredible women and mouth watering men. 💦 This book was “chef’s kiss”!!! You meet the FMC Scarlet and her delicious men (Maxwell, Tristan, Hugo, and Miles) who want her and will stop at nothing to have her. Now if you have read the previous 2 series, let me tell you that this storyline is very different when it comes to Scar and her men. But in a good way! 😈 You know I don’t like giving out spoilers, but the only one I will give you is that at the end of this book…..😏 (yes, that is a smirk emoji)….you will be fascinated and excited for the next book or pissed because the next is not ready! But will be sooner than expected. 🖤Side note….Miles and Maxwell have my black heart…so back up lol!! 😂🖤 I hope you enjoy this book as much as I have!! 🖤

Sexy secret society
So I was brought over to Scarlett's story from the deadly hearts series with Ruby. I wasn't sure I'd like it as much as Ruby's story but Eve does a wonderful job on creating characters you drool over, fantasize about and can relate to. Fair warning there is kink in here and its deliciously wonderful.... I am still holding out for some driver action in the future. Scarlett is one lucky girl and I can't wait to see how she grows with her men by her side. Diamonds may be a girls best friend but men who will kill for you just because the person only wanted to use you, now that's true love!

This book has everything I want and more
I loved each and every character, they all grow in the storyline but none more so than Max and Scarlet - their growth and their connection is sublime. I loved the twists and turns and the glimpses of the characters from the shared universe (ie her sister Ruby and their mom Cassie). I am here for the darkness that's in this story and I am excited to see where this amazing author goes with book two and book three - I trust her to take me on this rollercoaster with her.

Oh where to begin this book destroyed me in the most delicious way I can't begin to describe the emotional rollercoaster this took me on but I laughed so hard I choked on air only to get such an angry adrenaline rush I threw my kindle across the room. I fell in love with scar and her men I mean you can't not fall in love with a grpupd of fiercely protective, slightly unhinged yet stunning men. The only warning I will give is be prepared for the mother of all endings I am still reeling trying to gain back braincells after my brain short circuited

I loved Crash and had a terrible time of putting it down once I got started -- eh, who needs clean underwear anyway? I was pulled in from the very beginning as the author wove an intriguing, nonstop, twisting tale. I loved the Secret Society spin and look forward to the details that unfold with that. The guys are swoony and masculine. Scarlet is in over her head but takes it like an empowered woman. And the ending, no surprise, is killer, being that this is a planned trilogy, which has me eagerly anticipating the next book.

This is my new favorite book Eve wrote. Deliciously with Maxwell and I love that this book is about Scarlet as we already have her mom and sister in books. The darker aspects are so well written and I love the vibe this book gives. Thief extraordinaire Maxwell is enthralled by Scarlet and knows one thing. He's claiming her and the word no doesn't exist in his vocabulary. The other guys are more lovable though with Tristan, Hugo and Miles. Can't wait for the second book!

So I didn’t give it 5 stars. Although it’s a bit hard to figure out what’s going on at first but as u get into the story more you start to understand how it’s starting to play out. I will read the rest of books when they come out because I’m not quitter and would like to know how it ends. Sex is very dirty and gritty and if your not into “daddy” thing then maybe not for you. But otherwise give it a try..

Oh. My. Goodness. This book ticked all of the boxes- strong female main character, delicious men, plot, intrigue, PLOT TWISTS, tie ins to other series, and some fantastic steamy scenes. If you enjoyed Enchained Hearts, or Crush by Eve Newton, you will love Scarlet’s story. I can’t wait for the next book, especially with how Crash ended. 10/10!

4 of them and 1 of her. They games they play and the disaster that unfolds is captivating. I can not wait to read the rest of this series and the spice is most definitely on point. What to say about this book ? Scarlet definitely has to deal with a lot bit my god she is a strong woman and her men are totally wrapped around her finger . Such a great story line and different twists and turns. Can't wait for the 2nd one

I didn't really like that they keep using degrading phrases with her when she already told them she didn't like it . It just made me feel a bit icky .
