After being sent to jail for a crime he didn't do, PI Rafe Diaz wasn't thrilled when his client's case became linked to the woman who's testimony helped send him to jail.
From the moment he walks into Allie Fielding's store, Rafe felt as if he was sinking in quicksand. Not ever wanting to lose control of his life again, he tries to stay focused on clearing his client's name. But the more time he spends with Allie he realizes she's not the same party girl he knew in college.
Both feeling out of their comforts zone, they lean how to lean on each other and put the past behind them.
