This Christmas she’ll have more than her stocking stuffed…
I hate Christmas, loathe it, actually.
So why am I sharing the last bed in a storybook Christmas town with a romance cover model… dressed as a slutty Santa?
I’m so glad you asked…
You see, I was planning to skip Christmas altogether.
No gifts. No guilt. No forced Christmas cheer for me.
I was supposed to be nose-deep in a book with my toes in the sand figuring out my trainwreck of a life.
But then my flight had to make an emergency landing… and as luck would have it there was only one room left–and you guessed it–one bed too…
So now I’ll have to endure the next twenty-four hours of my annoyingly charming and insanely hot, Christmas-loving roommate as he tries to woo me into admitting that maybe I don’t hate Christmas after all.
No matter how much I resist.
But when he reenacts my favorite scene from my smutty Christmas book I may just sit on his lap and tell him anything he wants to know.
I mean… everyone has their vices, right?

Yours to Ho Ho Hold is a Christmas novella and book four in the Drive Me Crazy series. All the books in the series are interconnected standalones and can be enjoyed on their own. They do not need to be read in order, but you will gain glimpses of future characters/couples in each book.
Jeré Anthony (pronounced like hooray with a J) writes steamy, swoony, and hilarious romantic comedies with depth.
She is a mental health advocate, a lifelong anxiety warrior, and is ADHD AF. Her quirks bleed out into her stories making for an exciting group of characters. Because of her undiagnosed ADHD, growing up she always felt different from everyone around her. Now she strives to create stories that give readers an escape from reality while also helping them feel seen.
She loves a strong cup of coffee and thinks beer + buffalo wings are a delicacy that is unmatched.
Jeré currently lives in NW Arkansas with her husband, three children, dog, and two cats. When she’s not writing, you can find her reading, driving her kids all over for travel soccer games, watching cat videos on her phone, or trying to convince her husband to go on another family adventure somewhere new.
Did not know there was such a thing as a Santa k!nk, but ok. This is a gender swapped grumpy sunshine, with the MMC having golden retriever energy, and the FMC giving black cat energy.
Holly is looking to get away from all things Christmas. After having a horrible spree of misfortunes surrounding the holiday, all she wants is to fly away somewhere warm with beaches and no big Christmas atmosphere. As luck would have it, who does she meet on the plane but a hunk of a man in a Santa suit. See, Drew is a male model for some of the romance books that Holly loves so much, including the Santa themed one she is currently reading. Drew is immediately attracted to the prickly woman sitting next to him and puts on all the charm to try and peel back the layers of her cold exterior. But when the flight has to land unexpectedly in a small idyllic Christmas town - and the inn only has one room (with one bed) left - all bets are off.
Absolutely OBSESSED WITH THIS BOOK. it had the perfect amount of plot, holiday fluff and santa smut 😏 this is by far my fav holiday book this year. the smüt was reallllly nice but there were also soooo many hilarious moments.
Jeré Anthony was so kind to send me an early copy of this Christmas novella. Thank you!
Drew Jordan (as in Sam's younger brother from Pretty Please Me) got a last-minute flight to spend Christmas with his family, still dressed as a hot Santa no less, and that's where he meets Holly. Who, on the other hand, is escaping Christmas by flying to Florida.
So after their plane has to make an emergency landing, they find themselves stuck in a very Christmassy town, to much Holly's dismay. Drew then seizes this opportunity to try to win Holly over, or, to the very least, breach her walls.
It's a very cute and Christmassy novella. It had me laughing a lot, their banter was great, and it just hits differently when she's the grump. We also have a sizzling Santa role-playing. Just wow.
And omg Drew! He's a hundred percent book-boyfriend material.
“I could live a thousand lifetimes with you, and my heart would still ache for more. You, Holly Shepherd, are a lot of things, but you’re certainly not forgettable.”
I need more of them!
Speaking of which, my only complaint is that I'm not a fan of third-act conflict in my novellas. They're too short for that. But everything was sorted out quickly.
I’m so freaking excited about Yours to Ho Ho Hold, a Christmas Novella by one of my favorite spicy romcom authors Jere Anthony! In this story, we have Drew, a tattooed romance cover model dressed as a hot Santa, sitting next to Holly, a disgruntled Christmas-hater who just lost her job and is escaping her life and her internalized shame for the holidays. Their banter is electric, so when the plane detours to the “North Pole of the Midwest,” they make the most of their only-one-bed stayover with role playing straight from Holly’s favorite holiday romance.
Yes, they fall hard for each other in a few days, but honestly seeing both Drew and Holly share their vulnerabilities about family and professional dreams to each other made their romance more believable. Even though Drew is the younger brother from Jere’s last novel, Pretty Please Me, this can be enjoyed as a standalone.
Thank you to the author for the advanced review copy.
I absolutely loved Holly and Drew in this book. The grumpy sunshine trope and sexy role play was so hot! A great Christmas novella to kick off the holiday season!
4 star rating, thanks to Jere Anthony for an advanced copy for my honest review.
Super cute yet spicy holiday novella! I really enjoyed it. The pace was good for the length of the book and I’m super curious to learn more about the Jordan Law 😏
Thank you Jeré for sending me a copy of this fun book 🫶
It’s not that she doesn’t find me attractive, trust me, I know when a woman is into me, and Holly Shepherd is definitely into me. Maybe not as much as I’m into her, but I don’t think that’s actually possible, considering I’m crushing on her harder than I ever thought possible. She’s my actual dream girl, right down to her snarky, sarcastic attitude, her quick witty retorts, and the secret soft spot she’s yet to reveal, but I know is in there somewhere.
I’d fall on my knees at her feet and worship her, be anything she needed me to be, do anything she needed me to do. I’d start a war or even crawl on my belly over hot coals if it meant she’d look in my direction and smile. I’m a goner, a mad man, and an utter fool. But I don’t care. This goddess of a woman’s got me wound around her little finger and she doesn’t even know it.
Drew shoves him away. “Keep your hands off my girl, Davy Crocket.”
“I could live a thousand lifetimes with you, and my heart would still ache for more. You, Holly Shepherd, are a lot of things, but you’re certainly not forgettable.”

Grumpy/sunshine, forced proximity, only one bed, spicy Santa role play, Christmas town, dysfunctional family, smutty, fun, quick novella. I had a great time reading this novella. I love the banter between Drew and Holly. I didn’t realize until like half way through the book that is novella is part of a series that I was planning on reading. Oh well. I was going to reread this novella next season anyways. 5 stars.
This has to be the funnest Christmas novella I’ve ever read.
I have never read Santa Smut before and I’m here for it.
my Christmas list you ask? ☑️ hot fictional man in a sl*tty Santa suit
I love all the tropes this novella has : 🎅🏼 Reverse Grumpy x Sunshine 🎄 Forced Proximity ❄️ Small Cozy Cute Christmas Town / One Bed

BLURB/REVIEW :
Holly is young (27) and is having a hell of a time with life & holds a lot of guilt for things that happened in her past.
She meets Drew on a plane and is a Scrooge toward him immediately saying she hates the Christmas holiday. He ends up challenging her for a chance at a date once they land but the plane ends up making an emergency landing, making them stuck in a Cozy Christmas town in a bed & breakfast with only one bed. The next morning he is determined to make her love Christmas.
and so it goes…
I find the FMC relatable and that comes from her age and the guilt she holds on to that stems from her failures.
Drew has her *literally* coming to terms with her dreams and wants to ensure she lives them out. She will learn to be brave, honest, vulnerable, and take what she wants from life after confronting the guilt she holds close.
“Success doesn’t happen in a straight line”
Now Drew. or Santa 🥵
He is the sunshine. He’s a tattooed all over romance book model and has his own secret he’s keeping from his family that is based around his insecurity of not being taken seriously by his teasing family.
I loved how open and honest he was with Holly right off the bat. Noticing the little things and was determined to turn her Grinchy attitude into a Whovillation Celebration attitude.
He was gentle and encouraging outside the bedroom but inside…Santa may be from the North Pole but definitely knows what a gift his South Pole is.
The familial aspect on both sides was refreshing. There was no unnecessary drama and both families were as close knit as an ugly Christmas sweater.
There were multiple times I was laughing out loud but specifically during the ice skating scene 😂
Overall, I had the merriest freaking time 🎄🎁🎅🏼❄️
Thank you to the author for sending me her book! I really enjoyed the writing style as well so I’m adding her backlist to my TBR ASAP 🖤
*fans of J. Saman, Morgan Elizabeth, & Maren Moore will love this Christmas Novella
Drew and Holly’s holiday romance is full of amazing banter, spicy times, and all the Christmas magic and joy that you expect around the holidays. Things to look for in this book:
🎄 Holiday novella 🎄 Reverse grumpy/sunshine 🎄 Forced proximity 🎄 One bed 🎄 Christmas town vibes 🎄 Santa role play
When Holly ends up sitting next to a hot, tattooed man dressed as Santa on her flight to Florida, she is less than impressed. She is not a fan of the holidays and the last thing she wants is the sexy Santa next her rubbing his charm off on her.
But plans change when Drew and Holly’s plan makes an emergency landing and they end up having to share a room, and a bed, in a local town that is known for Christmas. So Drew uses it to his advantage to try to charm his way into Holly’s heart.
These two were absolutely adorable! I love how even though it was a novella, we got deep in our feelings with both Drew and Holly’s individual insecurities with their families. And they were able to support and help each other even though they hadn’t known each other for long. Spending time with Drew’s family was the absolute best time with all of their banter!
This story follows Holly who hates Christmas and Drew who models for spicy Christmas stories. They're on a flight to Florida and guess what?!? The plane has to emergency land to a picture perfect Christmas town! Drew is the prime example of a golden retriever and I'm pretty sure is blind to the bad traits in people and just wants to be respected by his family. Holly is a calico cat, she's all tough but inside she's a softball.
There's one big spice scene and one smaller one, and when you see Role-playing Santa in the description, Jeré really means Santa roleplay, and for the life of me when Holly started calling Drew Santa I could only picture the jolly big guy.
Plot is a 4/5 because this does happen within 3 days and it's a lot and can be a little confusing especially if you haven't read the rest.
It is truly a romantic comedy I was laughing through so many scenes.
I only clocked a few grammar mistakes, and one spelling mistake.

There was something about Holly that had me tearing up a bit. I related to her more than I thought I would. This was supposed to be a fun, kinky holiday read... instead I got a little blurry eyed in some parts.
Don't get me wrong, I loved this. I expected as much seeing how much I loved Pretty Please Me (also... love that we saw Sam and Maggie again!!!). Drew is adorable, and funny, and sweet and sexy... he even made me swoon a little for moustaches and Santa. SANTA. Jesus... talk about a Christmas miracle!!
Please tell me we get to see more of Jamie and Kandy Kane in the future... possibly... hopefully. Maybe Jere can work their magic again, and get me to love mullets this time (yes that's a cheeky challenge... did it work??)
This is a wonderful, spicy Christmas novella that will have you begging for more! This is technically book 4 in the Drive Me Crazy series, but you can read it as a standalone. Want a grumpy/sunshine, Santa role-playing couple? This is IT. When Drew and Holly end up sharing a room after a freak accident on a plane, they are forced to get to know each other a little better and boy do they. You'll love Drew from the start. He's a golden retriever boy with a filthy mouth and a sexy Santa suit. Holly is trying her best to resist his charm but even she isn't immune to his cute smile and bright eyes. This fun and flirty novella is also such a cute love story between these two AND you get to see some people you already know and love from previous books! If you're trying to get into the Christmas spirit, pick this book up!!!!
This was extremely cute and exactly the kind of read I was in the mood for. The way they met was hilarious, and the banter had me smiling from the start. The FMC was such a little spitfire — grumpy, sharp, and full of attitude — which just made everything better. I also really loved how patient the MMC was. He fell fast and hard and didn't give up.
And then… the role playing. Round of a very enthusiastic applause for that scene. Chef’s kiss. Hands down. Dear Santa.... me next.
Jere Anthony has been an auto-buy author for me ever since Pretty Please Me, and this book just reinforced that. I love her writing style, the pacing, and the fact that her books are the perfect length. Sometimes you just need a quick, cozy, spicy read with a happily ever after — and this delivered exactly that.
This story has the typical Christmas novella storyline that I’ve been reading a lot of lately but what sets it apart is the comedy. That’s my favorite part of this cute book!
I haven’t ready a Christmas novella with romance, smut, comedy, and an underlying story until this and I LOVED it. I literally LAUGHED OUT LOUD while reading this book and got sideyed by my fiancé a few times over it 😂
This is the first time I’ve read a book where the FMC is a Scrooge and a negative Nancy and the MMC is the complete opposite and is all jolly and positive. It puts things in a different perspective and actually makes him a perfect book boyfriend 🥺
This is definitely one of my favorite Christmas stories of the year and I’ll revisit this every year!
Another spicy Christmas novella. Drew is on a flight home to visit family dressed as a sexy Santa and he meets Holly who is escaping Christmas by going to Florida. Christma is not Holly’s favorite holiday but Drew was able to change that. After an emergency landing they got stuck in a christmassy town. Drew saw this as an opportunity to win Holly over and break her walls down.
Drew really helped Holly get out of her head and be brave. She had some setbacks in her past and uses her fears to get in the way of her dreams. Drews family was so welcoming to Holly. His family seemed like so much fun to be around. Holly and Drew also had great chemistry and banter!
5/5 🌟 OH MY GOODNESS. I’m so happy I read this. Honestly it was so good. I could feel their love for each other 😭 I LOVED every single bit of this. So happy. So quick and easy to read
That chapter 🦋😋🤭 I loved how he knew her inside and out straight away. That he always knew how of what she was feeling. I LOVED this whole bond with his family. It was so wholesome. I genuinely love Drew Jordan so much. The things he said to her WERE SO CUTE. He always believed in her as well. This isn’t a book I would normally read but I ate this up.

This was such a cute and fun romcom. Think hallmark but with spicy Santa vibes. The banter between Holly and Drew was so good! Holly and Drew meet on a flight, he's dressed up as a sexy Santa and she's reading a spicy book and he knows exactly which one he is reading. Their flight has an emergency landing and they both get stuck in a Christmas town hotel with one bed.
Even though this is part of a series it can be read as a stand alone.
Tropes: grumpy x sunshine forced proximity one bed spicy Santa role play
4.5 rounded up! I really enjoyed this novella. It was so well balanced between the spice, the drama and it was actually really funny.
I absolutely LOVED this. I think I have a new favorite author. I loved loved loveddddd Jeré’s style of writing and Drew Jordan is my new favorite book boyfriend. He was absolute chefs kiss perfection and I loved how he pushed Holly to make her understand just how amazing and worthy she was! The overall message of the book against the backdrop of the holidays was executed beautifully. Highly recommend this if you want a laugh out loud, quick sweet and spicy romance with cinnamon roll/golden retriever MMC before the new year! You will not be disappointed.
Riotously funny and heartwarming with a sky-high spice level (the reenactment at the inn, yes please) Yours to Ho Ho Hold is a standout Christmas novella! I loved it, it had me laughing loudly, (the kids did not appreciate this) contains plenty of naughty and nice, and Drew will just have you melting. As with any good Christmas story, I definitely had all the feels and sappy smiles that come along with a fabulous holiday HEA. And Drew’s family, OMG, I would gladly spend a day playing charades with them. A definite must read for romcom fans!
5/5⭐️ 3.1/5🌶️ Drew Jordan is now my favorite book bf! To have such a character be a dirty talking golden retriever? YES! Everything about him is perfect. The way he talks through things and communicates😍 I saw so much of myself in Holly it was terrifying. I cried a shit ton towards the last 35ish % and I think it was because Holly is a pessimist who feels like she needs to self-punish herself because of a mistake she made in her past. This felt very realistic and still like you are in a hallmark movie(in a good way though and not cringey haha)
Grumpy/ sunshine Forced proximity One bed Spicy Santa Holiday Novella
Drew is a sexy Santa parttime model who hopes aboard a flight only to meet the grump Holly who hates the holidays. After their flight gets grounded, they’re stranded together (one bed) in a picturesque Christmas town. Drew bets Holly and if he wins he gets a date when they land. Drew really spends alot of time trying to remind Holly of the magic of Christmas. This is such a quick read with lots of spice, some Christmas magic, and a reminder to follow your heart.
•Holiday romances that make you LOL •Sweet meets spicy couples •Small-town Christmas vibes •Rom-coms with ridiculous, chaotic energy •Forced proximity
𝐌𝐘 𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒:
I loved this book! It was hilarious from start to finish and had me laughing out loud more times than I can count. This was my first Jere Anthony read and clearly it won’t be my last... I have immediately added more of her books to my TBR because this one absolutely sold me. The spice hits right where it should, the characters are charming and chaotic, and the holiday theme gave me all the cozy, fun energy I wanted.
A perfect blend of humor, heart, and heat and a guaranteed mood booster for your seasonal reading stack.
I received an early copy from Jeré. This is drew & Holly's story. Drew is Sam's brother from pretty please me. I loved this from the first page, a gorgeous hunk in a Santa suit, what's not to like. This was the perfect Christmas spicy romance book, and is definitely worth a read. I love how this played out, and how the families were involved. The role plays were on fire. Can't wait for Jeré's next book.
I loved this so much. I love everything written by her. I just gobble it up. Her characters are always so relatable and lovable. I got an email about the book and got comfy in my bed. Read it start to finish without stopping. I was gripped from the beginning. I always find at least one thing to really connect with a character about. This one was the bookstore! I’ve always wanted to open a book and mortar bookstore.
This is my favorite holiday book I have read this year! I was laughing the whole time! Jeré Anthony is a master at writing romantic comedies! Every book of hers has me laughing and having the best time reading. This book really put me in the holiday season and gave me the all the holiday magic! Drew and Holly are such a cute couple. Their banter was my absolute favorite. I am still laughing after the first scene with the one bed trope. I find myself just thinking about it and laughing all over again. I loved everything about this book!
This was very cute and surprisingly pretty steamy! I’ve read all of Jere’s books and really liked them! I thought this had great character development and pacing for a novella. ❤️ This was very smutty romance reader coded!! I loved that the MMC was a romance book cover model.
Tropes: cozy Christmas town, grumpy/sunshine, one bed, role playing, funny dysfunctional families
