I volunteered to read and review an advanced readers copy of Rivera Files . I found this story was excellent it's suspenseful and action packed and intriguing . The characters are unique and so interesting I really enjoyed reading it . Daniela was the daughter of Alejandro CeSar head of the Columbian Cartel she always felt like a prisoner . When she witnessed her father's murder she grabs her two year old son and runs for their lives . Six years later she finds herself living with a new identity in hiding . When her location is compromised and sets her and her now eight year old son running again . Daniela knows she cannot trust their safety to anyone other than former FBI agent Jackson Hart who shares a past with her . Jackson works for Rider security Investigation now and when he finds out Daniela and her son are in danger steps up to protect and defend them . With the help of Rider they set out to end the nightmare . This story is outstanding . It's suspenseful and action packed and definitely entertaining. I highly recommend taking the time to read .

Daniela and Jackson had only interacted a few times in their lived before she reappeared in his life again, and yet the connection and chemistry was just as strong as it had ever been, I loved seeing how these two handled that. Reappearing into his life meant bringing danger (a lot) to his door, unveiling truths and realisations, all which made him reevaluate what he knew, thought, felt and wanted. I enjoyed the strong characters in this, the strong bonds and the hope that was never lost. I loved seeing these two reconnect and get their HEA and it made me chuckle a bit that Mica had yet again expanded her work family.

Daniela may not be the usual bad@$$ heroine I look for from this author but she has grit. She takes responsibility for the safety of her son and herself even if she also looks for help. Being the daughter of a Mexican mobster, I wasn’t sure I could like her but as the story developed I understood her more and sympathized with her predicament. Jackson never expected to see her again but the instant attraction is still there and it doesn’t take long for him to fall hard. Thank goodness this tale includes both POVs. This is one of my favorite tropes and a romantic thriller of the highest caliber. Don’t miss it!

Daniela is in witness protection, but she has been discovered and she is on the run with his son.
Jackson couldn’t forget the beautiful Daniela and the night they spent together. Now she is at his door asking for help.
This was an amazing roll coaster read, full of action and suspense. It also was emotional. I liked the end. I would have liked to say more but I don’t want to make any spoiler.
I just love it.

I found both Jackson & Daniela's characters sweet. There was more understanding & acceptance between them rather than anger. I enjoyed the team banter & Mica's take charge smarts. Sebastian is a character to feel for & glad for the outcome. Lots of Suspense, thrilling action, romance & rescue Rider style. Honest review!

I love this series and this story is just as good as expected. Full of action, drama, danger, and a love story mixed in with all the adrenaline. Enjoyed watching another Rider employee fall but of course they had to survive the cartel first. Just kept me glued to the end to see it all go down with lots of thrills. These two were so cute. And Jackson was a blast.

This was a great story of a strong woman that has to protect her son and herself and she’s good at it! But then someone sees her and he’s surat what’s she’s become. This story has a great storyline and the characters pull you into amazing adventure! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

I liked how they survived the assassins with a little unexpected help. Daniela and Jackson can now be a family with Justin. A bonus of Sebastian getting free as well is nice.

Intense and compelling!

A traditional genre...security client and the bodyguard! What wasn't traditional was the CARTEL as the threat! Mix in some family dynamics surrounding the cartel, and then you have page turning suspense thriller!
I look forward to enjoying more books by CB Samet! The Rider Files are calling my name!
