Ebook. Purchased. 3 short novellas that were a little too over the top fantastical even for a holiday romance novella. A lot of insta-love and crazy plots, low angst high fluff. The writing is really weird and I wouldn’t be shocked if it were AI written.
Also, stop marketing your books that happen to take place in December as Christmasy when theres no Christmas included- such a pet peeve this month.

December 12, 2024I paid one whole dollar for this?? It was not good. The writing is juvenile, contradictory, and repetitive. I got as far as starting the third story and realized that I was more annoyed than anything, and so DNF at 65%. Learn from me, don't bother with this book, the 5 star reviews are lying.

Chrissy and Dallas were great together. Both Dallas and Chrissy have been obsessed with each other but have tried their best to not let anyone know. After two years, Dallas can't take it any more and decides to finally make a move. There is a little bit of drama for these two but Dallas won't let his woman get away.
I loved Celeste with her attitude and positive vibes but Mingo annoyed me and his "change" seemed a bit too forced. I am really glad that these two got an HEA.
I enjoyed Emily and Noah together. Emily has been a huge fan for Noah for years and when she finally gets to see him, she gets to meet him and be his date for the evening. Noah know when he saw Emily that she was the one for him, she was everything that he has been singing about for years. There is a little bit of drama however, this drama brings Emily and Noah even closer together.
I really enjoyed this collection and I can't wait for more from Lana soon.

This was a good office romance but I just wished that the connection between Dallas and Chrissy had been more pronounced. The story also felt rushed at times. But a short steamy story that I did overall enjoy.

This was a cute enemies to lovers romance. The story had a good pace and was well written. I really liked Celeste right from the start but it took me a while to warm up to Mingo, he was just so condescending. But in the end I liked their story.

This was a cute fake relationship romance. It was fast paced and quickly read, perfect for when you want to read but don’t have a lot of time. Emily has been crushing on rock star Noah for years and now she had to be his fake date. I found the storyline cute and there were definitely chemistry between Noah and Emily. I enjoyed it.

I’ve read three out of the four books before I got this collection. I really enjoyed rereading them. I wasn’t a huge fan of the last book. The H was quite the jerk and it was really hard to believe he could change his mind about plus size women so fast. He almost literally changed his mind over night.
The books have very little drama. Some have minor ow drama but nothing major. None of the characters are virgins and their pasts aren’t really mentioned.
No abuse or cheating.

Book 2: The Jingle Ball is a curvy girl gets her rockstar romance. Emily is a shy, curvy girl who works in the accounts payable department at a PR firm. Noah is a rockstar with a playboy past who has recently become sober. He is friends with the owner of the PR firm and needs a date to the annual Jingle Ball to support him and help him stay in line. Emily has been obsessed with him and his music for years and spys on him when he comes to the office. She falls and is discovered. Noah sees her and is already in love. He demands that she's his date for the ball and sparks fly.
Book 3: Christmas Star is an enemies-to-lovers, curvy girl gets her celebrity romance. Celeste is a curvy former model. Mingo is a hunky celebrity designer who won the recent show Sew It Up, but he is running out of money. He is told he needs to create a plus-size line, and Celeste will be his model. He was known on the show for his dislike and disrespect for plus-size people. Celeste agrees but makes her feelings for him clear, as the two work together, they realize they have more in common than they think. Both are attracted to each other, and it gets hot and steamy.
The couples all had great chemistry. There is very little drama, and all have a happy ending. This was a great, feel-good, spicy Christmas romance set.

There were sparks and daggers from the first time Celeste and Mingo met. but it took opening up and the willingness to change to them to find love and the success they both desired.

The Jingle Ball is a fun fast read with the perfect amount of heat that will have you lost in Noah and Emily's story.
Noah has been cleaning up his image, and with the ball coming fast, needs someone to help him stay on track. When Emily falls into Noah, he knows she is the one for him.
Emily is a great character, she is fanning over Noah, but when it comes time, she is not going to lead him the wrong way. Love her strength and charisma.
Great quick read and will warm up things as you turn the pages.

I loved S.I.L.F. (SANTA I’D LIKE TO F*). Chrissy has had enough of being treated badly at her job, being passed over for another promotion has set events in motion. Suddenly her boss Dallas seems to take an interest in her and she doesn’t know what is going on. Does she take a chance on the man if her dreams? Is her Christmas wish coming true? This is a short and sweet Christmas story. I loved the storyline and the characters. I would have loved to put that Deena in her place. I would definitely recommend this book.

I loved how Dallas sees Chrissy for the brilliant woman she is and wants nothing more than to make her happy. I hated the woman that Chrissy works for. Jealousy is an ugly trait to have. I loved how Chrissy's friend the dress maker makes her feel beautiful and desirable. This was almost a Cinderella fairytale with how Chrissy has a deadline in which to have the dress back. I hated how Chrissy feels she is fat and unattractive. I loved how Dallas helps her see just how beautiful Chrissy really is.
Christmas Star: A BBW & Celebrity Christmas SHORT Romance: This is a Curves for Christmas story for Celeste and Mingo. this one reminds me of Scrooge, the way Mingo acts with curvy real models just makes me think Scrooge. I loved boss in your face Celeste she is someone to look up to and I loved her attitude. I loved this story and how the outlook of Mingo changes with a lot of help from Celeste.

E-book. Zero stars honestly. I'm very disappointed. I'm always looking for books with plus size FMC's and thought I'd give this collection of short stores a chance. For 99 cents why not right? Ugh. I was so wrong. Where to even start. I DNF'd at 42%.
The first story was such a cringe fest with the instant love. I kept making notes like ITS WAY TOO SOON FOR THAT BRUH. Then Dallas calls Chrissy's coworker "starved" because she's a thin woman??? Listen. It is perfectly fine to have preferences for your romantic partners. It is NEVER ok to bash other body types. Chrissy wanting to turn down the incredible job offer she got made ZERO sense because hello?? That would have been the perfect solution to the problem of banging your boss. But no... the author leaned fully into the cringe and Dallas showered her with money and gave her a promotion and even paid for her grandparents cruise trip so a "signing bonus". I just can't..... there are so many things wrong with this scenario and listen, I love problematic romance stories. But this was just straight up cringe.
Then the next story starts......... and the whole fat girl trips and falls trope happens..... then a glaring editing error. That was the last straw for me. This "best selling author" needs to either hire editors or fire the ones they currently have and get new ones. *sigh* I just wanted some wholesome smutty Christmas stories, instead an hour of my time and 99 cents wasted.

But no... the author leaned fully into the cringe and Dallas showered her with money and gave her a promotion and even paid for her grandparents cruise trip so a "signing bonus". I just can't..... there are so many things wrong with this scenario and listen, I love problematic romance stories. But this was just straight up cringe.
Then the next story starts......... and the whole fat girl trips and falls trope happens..... then a glaring editing error. That was the last straw for me. This "best selling author" needs to either hire editors or fire the ones they currently have and get new ones. *sigh* I just wanted some wholesome smutty Christmas stories, instead an hour of my time and 99 cents wasted.

This set is comprised of 3 separate novellas. Each one is fantastic and fun to read.
In S.I.L.F., Dallas is the CEO is the company that Chrissy works at. They are both interested in each other but are well aware of the consequences of the HR issues that could follow. Overall, this book kept my interest and l enjoyed reading it!
Then in Christmas Star, Celeste and Mingo are a sunshine/grumpy couple. Though enemies at first, it does not take long for Mingo to come around to see Celeste as more than a nuisance. This story was a quick, fun read!
Finally in Jingle Ball, Noah is a famous rock star. Emily has had a crush on him since she first saw and heard him. After locking eyes with Emily, Noah realizes that he and Emily are meant to be together forever. They get into a fake relationship, each hoping that it will become real.
I could not get enough of these books and have always had a deep appreciation for Lana Love’s books. Each one was a quick, fabulous, fun book to read. This set is definitely something everyone should enjoy!.

This is an amazing collection. All three books are about different couples. The first book is S.I.L.F. Chrissy has been the wallflower working hard and being overlooked for promotions. She doesn't know that Dallas has kept his distance until he needs her to help with the holiday party. He spends his time with Chrissy and their chemistry is electric and sparks the pages on fire. The second story The Jingle Ball: is about Emily and Noah. Emily is there to help Noah clean up his image and keep him sober. They are perfect for each other. Emily is no pushover when an old flame tries to get Noah to a party for just one drink. Emily turns into a dragon. The third story is The Christmas Star and it's about Celeste and Mingo. Mingo is a designer who only works and designs clothes for stick women. Celeste ends up showing him how to change his ways and appreciate the female with a woman's body. It takes him a while but he finally sees the light. Fantastic fast story that lights up the holiday spirits.

Dallas did NOT PLAY!!!! This over the top Alpha Boss was soo much goodness. Chrissy knew who she loved, but didn’t care to think she could get it. Dalllas did not hold anything back. This book did not disappoint in spice. The spicy talk was soo good. Mmmm just soo good. Lana Love does it again with character chemistry.

Emily & Noah’s journey was instant. She knew she loved him before she ever knew him. Then she “fell” for him at work. One fall later and he was just as hooked. He never knew he needed anyone else like he knew he needed Emily. She was fierce and determined to make sure her job was done right. But when she does, he knows she’s the one.

This was a great collection of stories. I had previously read the first story in this book, but not the last two. They were all fantastic little stories, but the last one was definitely different from any other story I have read from this author. In the end Mingo changed his tune, but the beginning of the story was a lot of venom and body shaming.

This is a fab collection of Christmas romances and I really liked Christmas Star. The story of Mingo and Celeste showcases how everyone wants to be seen for who they are, not where they come from or how they look. These two started off with an enemy to lovers vibe, but soon enough, their smoking hot chemistry led them to a steamy HEA. Expect the same fun reading ride when you read all of the stories contained in this entertaining set :D

Three great, sweet and spicy books. I definitely enjoyed each of these insta love books. I love a strong and sassy MFC and the author gave us this. The MMC were all over the top and swoon worthy. A definite hit!
