Louise wants a baby. We want a family. And this Christmas, we’re giving her both.
CARTER I know better than to develop feelings for Louise, but I seem to be stuck in the same lovestruck frenzy as my three best friends. The only solution is sharing the woman who has captured our attention…
REN I offer myself up as a donor on Louise’s quest to get pregnant… but I have ulterior motives. My crush on her makes me lose my mind because I would do anything to keep my precious girl happy.
ISAAC When I’m assigned a new patient for fertility treatments, I reluctantly accept… but Louise Romain is my best friend’s little sister, and he’s way too protective. Probably because he knows how much I want his stunning, curvy sister in my bed...
DYLAN I’ve been taking care of adorable Louise’s sweet dog, but there’s a lot more I want from the gorgeous girl. Little does Louise know, her pooch is an excuse so I can spend more time with her.
BROTHERS BEST FRIENDS FOR CHRISTMAS is a spicy why choose standalone romance. Binge it this holiday season!
I’m an absolute sucker for a RH book, but add in pregnancy and doctors. 🤤 YES PLEASE! The characters and their relationship with Louise was such an enjoyable experience and the spice was perfection. The author absolutely nailed the OBGYN experiences to a point too. 😂 I would definitely read this again.

I really enjoyed reading this story. A few things felt a bit unbelievable but it didn't really hurt the overall story in the end. Louise is a bright light in the lives of all her friends and family. Jenny is her ever faithful best friend. Her brother Todd is overbearing on the best of days and engaged to Natalie who isn't a fan of Louise. Todd's best friends Ren, Isaac, Dylan, and Carter are just as much friends with Louise as Todd and all look forward to seeing her. Over the story you come to see and feel how each man loves Louise and the series of events that ensue. The care and love Louise has for all these people, minus Natalie, comes through the pages. Louise's endless search to be a mother envelopes some of how I can imagine those who are ready for a family and struggling feel. In the end it was all worth it. Now on the other side, I would love to see a book about Todd and Jenny. I feel like there is a loose end with Todd and want to see him get a happily ever after and wrapping it up with it being Jenny would be fun.
I love the brother’s best friend trope. I wasn’t sure how it was going to work with 4 of them being in love with one girl but I enjoyed the ride.
I feel like they want us to believe that she has the same connection with all of them, but to me it seemed she and Ren (who she slept with first and who first offered to have a baby with her) had the biggest connection throughout the book. There’s almost no development between her and Carter. He just says he loves her and it’s like “oh. That’s surprising.”
But regardless, a good steamy read. It gets a 5 on the smut scale.
I am so happy to see that the whole world has been affected by the emotional trauma of this situation. Louise has a very special bond with her brother but in her quest to become her own person she finds her way to love and happiness for herself with Dylan,Carter,Isaac and Ren. It was wonderful
Holy cow what a roller coaster of emotions I have never giggled and been brought to tears in some many instances in a book, if you are also a suffer for infertility and want hope this is your book I mean not everyone has four men but this book is amazing and shows that sometimes family isn’t the most supportive aspect in life during hard times

Louise wants a baby, she’s 27, single and has just recently been told having a baby, the one thing she wants the most, will be near to impossible without help. Cue her brother’s best friends. This story had everything, romance, spice and drama.
Please note, this story focuses heavily on infertility and IVF treatments, so please note this before reading. This is something that I can heavily relate to and although I’m ok to read stuff like this, I know others may not.
The FMC, Louise is a strong woman who is determined to get what she wants, unfortunately she isn’t the best with responsibility when her sole focus is a baby and her story has a lot of lows because of this.
The MMC’s, Isaac, Carter, Ren and Dylan are all really fun characters. They each bring a different dynamic to the relationship emotionally and physically. These men also know how to do aftercare right!!
Todd…the brother…is a a-hole. I don’t even want to comment on this man he boiled my blood! Which was a good thing because his character was written so well. I didn’t like the subtle slut and fat shaming from him and his partner. At times it felt needless to through into his dialogue but I think this did add to the hatred for this man and subsequently did add value to his character saying these things. But I think a trigger warning would be nice for this.
This book definitely gives ‘pucking around’ vibes in a different setting. It was fun and a quick read. Although a Christmas book, there wasn’t as much Christmas as I expected.
The spicy scenes were 🌶️🌶️🌶️ at a push. I’m giving an extra 🌶️ for the dirty talk.
I wasn’t the biggest fan of some of the writing, especially in tough scenes with Todd and his finance Natalie (also an a-hole). I found his dialogue quite rigid at times, but this was the only ‘negative’. I also wish the MMC’s had some more character development as time went on, their characters were set from the first page and I would have loved to have seen even one character change a little bit with time and during some of the more intense scenes.
Overall a solid 3 star read, recommend to anyone wanting their reverse harem fix with a Christmas twist.
Brother's Best Friends for Christmas is standalone reverse harem romance by Lisa Cullen. I'm a sucker for a good brother's best friend book, so I was intrigued. While this is one fun and sexy book, there is some cheese and some OTT theatrics, but it all suits the tone and characters of the book perfectly. There is also some more serious matters at the centre, in particular infertility and IVF, which was handled wonderfully.
Louise is a happy go lucky, curvy woman in her late twenties. She was cared for by her big brother after the death of their parents, and as a consequence he has found it difficult to allow Louise to really get on her with her life. Doesn't help dynamics that Louise and her brother's girlfriend do not get along.
Her brother is a doctor works in their small town's hospital, and along with him are his four best friends who are also doctors at the hospital. The four friends have been a big part of Louise's life. She often visits all five men at the hospital.
However, things are taking a turn. Louise wants a baby and has been seeing a doctor, only to discover that she has next to no chance conceiving naturally. The four friends - Ren, Carter, Isaac and Dylan - are all attracted to and adore Louise. Like Louise, though, they have been deterred from doing anything because of their best friend - her brother.
It seems both ridiculous and natural as Louise gives into attraction with the four hot shots. They each bring something to the table in the complex relationship, and I enjoyed finding out how it worked outside of the sex.

I imagine this would be every matchmaking mother’s wet dream, to not only snag one doctor, but four at the same time! Yet the most surprising thing for me was how easily the guys slipped into a polyamorous relationship as there was no indication they had ever done so before. But no matter how it started, it was an amazing, supportive relationship that I kind of envied, if truth be told. All of the guys were devoted to Louise and she blossomed in their care. Louise struck me as a genuinely kind and caring person, liked by everyone she met, so it was surprising when the “villain” in this story was her own brother, Todd, who couldn’t accept her choice and lashed out at both his sister and his best friends. Although, he ultimately tried to make amends, I found it hard to forgive his actions, which spoke of a deep-seated prejudice and intolerance. While there are some steamy scenes throughout the book, it also dealt with the serious issue of infertility and IVF treatment. Whereas many people believe in the success of IVF, this is not always so and I felt Louise’s highs and lows deeply as she went through each round of treatment. This is where I fell in love with her guys even more as they were always looking out for Louise, supporting her in her endeavors and holding her close at the end of the day. I felt like this book just dragged so much. Which is kind of surprising considering how many time jumps there are. So many that it was a bit confusing trying to keep up with the months that were going by. Even the author slipped up a few times because of the time jumps.
Also, Louise's brother was suchhhhh an a** hole. The fact that he called her a wh*re in front of the whole hospital? Because... what? His girlfriend manipulated him? The whole thing was just kind of silly. The fact that he was so willing to cut his sister out of his life after raising her really didn't make a lot of sense...
The fact that all the guys were doctors was H.O.T. Each of the guys were unique enough that it was easy to follow along with them.
I wish that there was more of a trigger warning for the fertility issues. When I read the description I assumed it was because a single woman wanted to get pregnant that she was seeing a fertility doctor. A trigger warning about her having sleepy eggs and being told she probably wouldn't be able to get pregnant and would have failed attempts would have been appropriate. As someone who has recently been told getting and being pregnant will be difficult I almost stopped reading this. It was hard. I expected a secret pregnancy book and frankly I wouldn't classify this book as that. Considering her partners find out she is pregnant before she even does. And despite having issues getting pregnant they tell everyone right away.
This was a cute book, but after reflecting, there were a lot of problems. First, big trigger warning that fertility issues are a HUGE part of this story. Second, this girl was living in a crappy apartment and used all her savings for IVF. She wasn’t working and thus, ended up losing her apartment and job because she was so consumed with getting pregnant. She was super irresponsible and though the men were supportive while also being disappointed, I still wanted to knock some common sense into her. How did she expect to pay for the costs of having a newborn baby? She didn’t even think about the long term responsibilities, she just wanted a baby and wanted it now.
I actually really loved the guys. I just wished that there was ANY character development for them. I don’t even know what their backgrounds are besides what they do for work and how they met her brother. For how long the book is, there definitely should have been more character development. Also, the brother calling her a whore in front of the entire hospital? … I’m not exactly sure how she was able to forgive him for a lot of that.
The cuteness of this story though had me overlooking a a lot of it though. I loved all the adult conversations they had with each other about expectations of their relationships.
The desire to see how this train wreck ended is the only reason I didn’t DNF early in this book. It’s a why choose, where the FMC is going through IVF and the doctor is also her friend and brothers best friend but he’s also in the harem. So…. your friend is your fertility specialist AND one of your sperm donors? the old fashion way?
Conflict of interest- never heard of her- The medical ethics board is taking his license- no question.
It’s so far fetched- not to mention she’s A MESS- lost her job, got evicted- but has enough money in “savings” for 3 rounds of IVF. Literally nothing about an unreliable flighty hair dresser tells me she has $50k lying around for this.
Not to mention at one point she says “It felt like everything that was going wrong would be okay once I had a baby, and now… now everything is just wrong.” …. What about making a human, who is 150% reliant on you for survival- occupying all of your mental, physical and emotional energy for the foreseeable future - says, “everything after this” will be gravy??? Especially because at this point in the book she was still SINGLE.
I did not enjoy this book. I found the FMC to be extremely frustrating and whiny and I felt like it was badly written, the story was both rushed and dragged out - impressive. There was unnecessary drama that didn’t add anything to the story, though I can see what the author was trying to do with the added twist, however it fell short. In the authors defence, this is the first book I have read of theirs and maybe it just didn’t hit the spot?
Also, maybe a spoiler? There were no trigger warnings for this book. The plot deals with IVF, disappointment in IVF and struggling to conceive. If anyone who reads this is dealing with those issues, I felt like the book handled them poorly and it could be triggering reading this. Yes I know it says secret pregnancy on the front (not really a secret but whatever), it doesn’t really make it clear that it has those issues in it.
I very nearly DNFd this book, so if anyone else is thinking of reading this book, I would say unless these tropes interest you, probably avoid it.
A wonderful story in which Louise desperately wants a baby but cannot find a man who fits the bill. In an act of desperation, she decides to go for IVF treatment at the hospital where her brother and his 4 friends work. Isaac will perform the procedure on her. Ren hears her great wish and offers himself as a natural sperm donor. Carter sees her when her hormones are out of control and volunteers as a backup when Ren is not available. And then there is Dylan who gives her a place to live when she can no longer pay her rent due to lack of money. All 4 men secretly have feelings for Louise and give in to their deepest desires. Everything goes well... until Louise's brother finds out about their relationship(s). What does this mean for Louise, who holds her brother in high esteem? What is stronger; her brother and his opinion, her love for his friends or her desire to have children?
A sweet story with some spicy scenes, but these do not dominate the story.

I love the brother's bestie trope. It's one of my favorites. So, when I stumbled upon this one, I was super excited. While it was decent, there were a few things that I had issues with. The slut shaming her brother did when he inevitably found out was definitely an issue for me, as well as the subtle fat shaming both her brother and his fiancée did. Also, for anyone reading this, this is your disclaimer that this book centers around infertility and the struggles of IVF. That hit very close to home for me and I wasn't really prepared. I related so much to Louise's desire to have a baby and family of her own. Her absolute heart break was palpable every time it didn't work. On to the real reason we all read RH books. The spice. I thoroughly enjoyed both the one on one scenes with the guys as well as the group scene we're treated to. Especially the bathroom scene with Ren. Whew... It was well written and vivid. Overall this book is a solid 3.5.
The sleeping around with strangers trying to get pregnant… and not one of the “doctors” or people in her life batted an eye
Lives in a crappy apartment but can afford IVF? Not one, but 3 rounds. As a hair dresser that barely works lol.
Every paragraph mentions something about the FMC being curvy. We get it.
I also don’t feel like this author has ever been pregnant or had a baby. Newborns don’t chew on teething toys lol. I stopped reading after that. They’re also not rushed to the hospital 1 week from their due date lmao.
Also come on. A year of dating these men and they didn’t say they loved each other til she was 7-8 months pregnant with their child
Also they never talked about anything. Oh yeah I’m pregnant now and I was only going to stay here until I got my own place… then the time jumps and no communication really.
This was a great RH romance that really hit some hard topics. Fertility issues and IVF challenges were front and centre for Louise. Thankfully, her brother's four best friends were there to support her...and fall in love with her ;P These men were all doctors and they sure knew how to bring on the heat. I loved Louise - she was super kind, caring and had so many weights trying to drag her down. Under the love and care of her men, though, she sure bloomed. Sadly, her brother was not on board. At all. This made things difficult and I have to say that I didn't really like him, no matter how hard he tried to make amends. Thankfully, though, Louise gets her HEA and I really felt the highs and lows of her life's wishes :D
Brother’s Best Friends For Christmas is a secret pregnancy reverse harem story. Louise is a curvy hairstylist with a talent for baking. She spends her off time taking care of and feeding her friend group made up of her brother’s four super hot, incredibly busy doctor best friends. Also she has the most adorable dog Whiskey, a King Charles Spaniel!
This story’s suspenseful and full of angst. For Louise things go from bad to worse over and over in every aspect of her life. She has a seriously controlling and aggressive brother. Her housing situation, her work and her personal relationships all give her trouble. Trigger warning: difficulty conceiving, and pregnancy related complications.
A Sweet story of love and acceptance. Louise brother was a doctor so she often went to see him at the hospital so in turn saw a lot of his 4 friends ( also doctors ) I won't spoil the story but one thing led to another after a huge disappoint for Louise she got together with all 4 friends. She seemed a sweet character but rather immature at times for a 28yr old which solicitor a bit for me personally, a few bits seemed dubious, e.g. Bed reserve after the normal birth, this was from one of her 4 doctors / partners order who specialises in fertility and child birth. Any how for a light feel good Xmas read if still recommend.
This is a well written reverse harem Christmas romance with strong characters and an interesting storyline. Isaac, Carter, Ren and Dylan are all attracted to Louise, just as he's is to each of them. They are her brother's best friend's and off limits. Until they all give in. I enjoyed watching the relationships progress and how much they all support her. The story moves fluidly and is an enjoyable read.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. All opinions in this review are my own and freely given.
This was a sweet book. Four marshmallows completely in love with their lady. A bit of drama in an a$$ of a brother and his nasty fiancée. A few things exceeded my threshold for believability, but it wasn't related to the relationship at all, more something that a bit of research would alleviate. An ultrasound at barely 4 weeks - don't those have to be done internally? And why would a baby under two weeks old be chewing on a teething ring? Aside from that, I loved this story.

Love this author so much in past books, however this one was a little bit of a let down. I loved the love however to me it didn’t feel like the relationships progressed naturally. I also didn’t care for the way the FMC was so messy. She wanted a baby and put literally everything else to the side and focused just on a baby with zero care for herself, her job, or her home which she needs all of to take care of the baby. Over all good fast read and will continue to support this author in the future.

Louise has always dreamed of being a mom despite her brother giving her a hard time but she decides to go through with it but her doctor keeps giving her bad news and when she decides to bring in a specialist Louise never expects it to be one of the four guys that she had had crushes on for years. Her brothers best friends. Issac knows that it will be tough but he is determined to help. As do the other three. But it is not an easy task. Great storyline with incredible characters.

Spicy 🌶️ - just no. They were quick and just not what you would think a doctor should know to get a women to 🦋
This woman’s maturity level was so awful and frustrating. She has no money, loses her housing but she is willing to do all that for IVF? Where will you live with your baby?
Fast falling - the fast falling for the curvy girl? And her tastes in clothing and hair do not remind me of what a doctor would go for, let alone 4 of them? Just so fake and I just couldn’t finish it. Not my cup of tea.
She wanted a baby above all else but found that it might not be as easy as she thought it would be to get pregnant. One of her brother's friends treats her and one of them offers to help her and then the other two friends decide that they want to be a part of her journey, too. It must all remain a secret because her brother is very protective. She never thought that she would have the love of one man and definitely not four, but all will not be roses and sunshine.

This is a heartwarming read reverse harem read that is a touch forbidden, involves a doctors, brother's best friends, billionaire and holiday magic. The story is about Louise, Isaac, Dylan, Ren and Carter. It is a sexy and steamy reverse harem about a lady wanting a baby and four men willing to help her out. Todd, Isaac, Dylan, Ren and Carter are all doctors who work at the same hospital and are best friends. Louise is Todd's little sister and therefor off limits. This is an emotional roller coaster ride with fertility issues, drama, passion and erotic steaminess.
Oh how I love a good reverse harem and this one was so well done. It had a slow build up, so you got to know the characters and how they all fit together. The s#x scenes were tastefully done and not done for the sake of it. Which to be honest was a refreshing change. Friends to lovers Brothers best friends and work mates Best friends little sister Curvy woman and proud of it Pregnancy + possible triggers for some HEA
Louise is ridiculous—I want a baby so I’ll forget about basic life things like working, paying my bills, having a roof over my head. She got her HEA which is great but with how she acted I didn’t really want her to be a mom. If you can’t take care of yourself how will you take care of a baby. Sure the guys all make a good living as doctors so it ends up ok but still…a baby won’t solve you’re problems that’s just not reality
I like the troupe of doctors, pregnancy, brothers friends but I just couldn’t with the FMC
