Settling on 4 ⭐️ for this one. Love Noah (especially since I heard this is a Noah Sebastian inspired book which is why I read it lmfao not me JUST PRETENDing) and there’s nothing wrong with it. I just don’t have that urge to make this my entire personality for the next month and literally think about it all day at work.

This book. This book!! What an absolutely beautiful story this was to read. I was thankful enough to be chosen for an ARC of Invisible Burdens and I am so grateful that I was!
This story takes us on tour with Beautiful Deceit and their aerial dancers, that they did not want, thank you very much. But the shows on your are FIRE with the girls twirling and crating artistry on stages with the guys.
Noah and Sienna have a chemistry that is not allowed. No one is allowed to sleep with each other on tour, it’s in their contract, or they’ll be fired. This creates such a beautiful tension between the two. The glances, the smirks, the touches, my goodness it is the sweetest slow burn!
The trust that Noah and Sienna come to have with one another, enough to share their “invisible burdens” with each other. It is one for the ages. They find solace in the other and it eases the weight of stress and anxiety that they have been dealing with for so long. I appreciated that the author showed Noah struggling and dealing with emotions that we so often don’t see male characters going through. I found that I related with Noah and Sienna more because of this. It so often feels lonely to be going through mental health issues, and reading is a wonderful escape from that. But being in this world and relating with characters who are going through it too, just hit me in such a cathartic way.
The supporting characters: Bri (badass speaks her mind ride or die bff), Brett (hottie with a mouth that can do more than offer some witty, sexy phrase), Sloan (hilarious but has a hidden military past), Ryan (the “dad” of the group who always is diffusing situations, however is secretly talking to a band mates sister). Then you have Jos, Kara, and Josh, they all bring some element to the story. And a couple other characters that are vital to the story in some way or another.
I loved the revelation later. And the epilogue!? *swoon* I cannot wait for the rest of the guys stories!! The level of spice is minimal, but the sexual tension is high! I loved this book so much, I cannot wait to rave about it everywhere! Thank you again Jillian for the ARC. I hope to be blessed enough to continue ARCs for the rest of the series!

I loved this book so much, i absolutely adore rockstar romance but i don't often read about the mental/anxiety aspect of being in the spotlight and how much pressure is put on rockstars and people surrounding them. It's usually about the sex and drugs. There was a decent amount of spicy scenes within these pages but it was more about the heart which made me stay up late as hell to finish it. Noah and Sienna are great together, they both share anxieties while putting each other at peace.....eventually. Noah Kinkaid as a possessive rockstar yet a softie for her? Sign me the hell up!

I am not sure how to put this into words but it will not do justice if I just keep it to myself. Okay, let’s go.
When I first read the blur, teaser about this book, I was like, wow! Rockstar vibe! Never read this kind of book. Going to give it a shoot & I am very honored to be part of the ARC team. It’s about a group of young boys who start with just a dream they want to make sure they always have money to buy burgers and now become one of the biggest rock stars. They will launch their new album & their manager decided to bring in uniqueness during the tours. They bring in dancers. Can you imagine, rock and dancers? It’s 2 different identities but somehow they make it work. So, they have 8 months together. They signed a contract saying that they could not do any romance which somehow trapped them into forbidden proximity. Can you imagine wanting someone who you could not have it? It’s miserable 😂 And their friends are funny! Especially Sloan & Brett 😂 I mean we all need a friend like them. At least one.
Overall the slow burn caught me. It makes me smitten. I can imagine how beautiful Noah is With his height and his voice. The way he looks at Si. I cannot find any similar existing rock star like him. Or do we have any? 🤔

Perfection. Absolute PERFECTION!! I’ve been dying to read this book for wayyy too long and I was lucky enough to win a giveaway! I of course immediately moved it to the top of my TBR and I couldn’t be more excited to now try and convince everyone to read it too!
This is only the second rockstar romance trope I’ve read, but I’m definitely a fan now 🎸 it was perfectly written, the tension between the characters was phenomenal, and the spice was 🥵🥵. I loved EVERYTHING about this. So much so that I immediately downloaded the second book and will be starting that today 😂

Oh the tension in this book! I LOVED IT! I caught myself smiling and laughing, sienna and Noah’s love just makes me so happy. I was rooting for them the whole time. I can’t wait for the next book! This book just shows that you can fight your demons and win!

I feel totally blown away by this book, truly. Once I picked it up, I couldn’t set my kindle back down! I fell in love with Sienna and Noah’s story in every aspect and even though they got their HEA, I still found myself rooting for them until the very end.
Jillian writes in a way where you can’t help but fall in love with ALL of her characters; she definitely leaves you excited and wanting to see more of everyone. You can tell just how much pride and effort she puts into her work, which is definitely warranted!
I adored the rockstar/backup dancer trope; granted, it wasn’t something I usually go for but paired with the “forbidden love” trope, I was reeled in from the start. Neither character seemed to be codependent on each other, which definitely added to the slight slow burn that was established between them!
Honestly, I just cannot wait to see what happens in the second book!

Sienna and Noah are FIRE. Each of them had their own demons and the way they came together to help each other heal and thrive was beautiful. It was a SLOW burn but the steam ended up being explosive 😉😂. I loved the banter between the guys and the dancers and I am so excited this is a series. Bri and Brett’s book is going to be insanely good, I already know it!

Invisible Burdens is the Rockstar Romance I didn’t know I needed in my life. This book cured me of a reading slump! I could not put it down. I literally fell asleep with it on my face every single night for 4 nights because I physically could not put it down. The TENSION, the angst, the romance… this book was perfect in every way, shape, & form. Every element was written so well. I loved the pacing & thought it was perfect. I was never bored with it & never felt like anything was rushed. I thought the relationship between Noah & Sienna progressed perfectly, & their individual character development was so inspiring & beautiful. These two have some serious emotional baggage, & I loved how they found solace & comfort in each other. Jillian writes about Anxiety in such a real & raw way, & I thought she did it the perfect justice for how it can affect people & their relationships, especially people in the entertainment industry.
This book centers around Noah & Sienna - Noah is the lead singer of Beautiful Deceit, a metalcore band of 4 best friends that quickly shot to stardom. Sienna is an aerial dancer, & she’s just gotten her first official job dancing for Beautiful Deceit for their big tour. The only catch is she has signed a contract, & the dancers aren’t allowed to sleep with anyone in the band. But she & Noah can’t seem to stay away from each other. Their love story is truly so beautiful. The forbidden aspect of their romance made it such a delicious & tension-filled romance, & the pay off is SO worth it when they finally get together! The spice was HOT!
The side characters are extremely lovable! Brett, Sloan, Ryan, Kara, Jos & Bri are AMAZING. The found family was so sweet, & I loved how they all had this immediate connection & friendship. They all had each other’s backs when things got crazy at the end.
This book now owns my heart & I’m so happy about it. I truly don’t think there is a single thing I would change about it, other than I wanted it to go on for 500 more pages because I was so invested. I CANNOT WAIT for Book 2, which is Brett’s book!
This is going in my top reads of 2023 list, & I am HIGHLY recommending everyone read it! It’s just absolute perfection! It was such an easy, romantic, & inspiring read, & I just really want everyone to read it!

Invisible Burdens is the Rockstar Romance I didn’t know I needed in my life. This book cured me of a reading slump! I could not put it down. I literally fell asleep with it on my face every single night for 4 nights because I physically could not put it down. The TENSION, the angst, the romance… this book was perfect in every way, shape, & form. Every element was written so well. I loved the pacing & thought it was perfect. I was never bored with it & never felt like anything was rushed. I thought the relationship between Noah & Sienna progressed perfectly, & their individual character development was so inspiring & beautiful. These two have some serious emotional baggage, & I loved how they found solace & comfort in each other. Jillian writes about Anxiety in such a real & raw way, & I thought she did it the perfect justice for how it can affect people & their relationships, especially people in the entertainment industry.
This book centers around Noah & Sienna - Noah is the lead singer of Beautiful Deceit, a metalcore band of 4 best friends that quickly shot to stardom. Sienna is an aerial dancer, & she’s just gotten her first official job dancing for Beautiful Deceit for their big tour. The only catch is she has signed a contract, & the dancers aren’t allowed to sleep with anyone in the band. But she & Noah can’t seem to stay away from each other. Their love story is truly so beautiful. The forbidden aspect of their romance made it such a delicious & tension-filled romance, & the pay off is SO worth it when they finally get together! The spice was HOT!
The side characters are extremely lovable! Brett, Sloan, Ryan, Kara, Jos & Bri are AMAZING. The found family was so sweet, & I loved how they all had this immediate connection & friendship. They all had each other’s backs when things got crazy at the end.
This book now owns my heart & I’m so happy about it. I truly don’t think there is a single thing I would change about it, other than I wanted it to go on for 500 more pages because I was so invested. I CANNOT WAIT for Book 2, which is Brett’s book!
This is going in my top reads of 2023 list, & I am HIGHLY recommending everyone read it! It’s just absolute perfection! It was such an easy, romantic, & inspiring read, & I just really want everyone to read it!

First thought: I loved it! If you think this is just another rockstar romance you are wrong! This story has so many more layers to it and the characters really draw you in and immerse you into their story. Who knew violin playing was so sexy. I can’t wait to read the rest of the band members stories. Highly recommend!

I'll be the first to admit that I made a mistake on sleeping on this book for way too long. I honestly don't know what I was thinking for waiting this long in picking it up and reading it, but fortunately my error was rectified. How Jillian Wray was able to create this masterpiece I'll never know, but I'll forever be grateful to her for it.
I never knew how much I needed to experience Noah and Sienna's story until I was introduced to them. Noah and Sienna made my heart cry in more ways than one. I haven't met characters like them in quite a while. Their connection to music and each other was truly astounding even when they were doing their best to respect the rules. I loved seeing these two grow with each other. The way they each blossomed and overcame their own burdens was beautiful and heartwarming.
I truly loved how the story did not solely focused on these two's growing attraction and romance. I feel like Wray did amazing job at establishing their friendship and making sure it was stable before adding any of the romance factors. It gave me a chance to learn and see about who each one of them was and where they were as individuals. Now, that's not to say that the romance wasn't amazing because my god once them sparks were let loose I swear everything caught fire. There was never any denying of these two's chemistry, but once the exploration of it was what really kicked it off. Noah and Sienna were truly something else. They had everything going for them and I'm so happy being able to enjoy their story.
I am so excited to continue my way through Wray's books. I'm also slightly terrified of the emotional havoc she'll continue to bring upon my heart, but I'm absolutely HERE for it. I truly believe I've found my latest author obsession. If you haven't yet, make sure to go check out Invisible Burdens because it is a definite must-read.

I was completely invested in Noah and Sienna’s relationship and absolutely adored the HEA. "Invisible Burdens" is a must-read if you crave a love story with depth, big emotions, angst, tenderness, and delicious spice. I eagerly anticipate reading the next book in the series.

I am 100% obsessed with this book, and I'm pretty sure it's going to be my favorite book of the year.
The chemistry was so real. The banter 🔥 the story was amazing. I am doing a giveaway with this book as the prize because I'm absolutely obsessed, and I need everyone to read this book so I can talk about it with everyone!
First of all, Noah and Sienna were so relatable and seemed so real. I loved how possessive but also incredibly supportive they were of each other. The forbidden romance *chefs kiss* could not have been better written.
Jillian also does such a great job of creating side characters that give to the story. I feel like in a lot of books, that side characters can be kind of pointless except for giving the impression that the main character is not a recluse. Jillian's side character have a story and depth, and they add to the story and aren't just a placeholder.
I can not begin to explain how not into musicians I am, I have dated musicians, and I got annoyed with the constant noise... I think this book might have cured me to my aversion of musicians because Noah could get it!
I have red hair, so I pretended I was Sienna. Lol!

🌶️🥵🔥 Pretty dang spicy! But it doesn't take away from the romance/plot. Perfectly balanced.
My goodness was this book thrilling! Drama without third act breakup and super hot rockstars getting their buttons pushed by backup dancers that actually respect each other... Invisible Burdens has it all!
Not only is there mental health rep here, but I seriously love it when characters have each others' backs and aren't in it for themselves. It's amazing to see dancers that encourage each other to grow rather than compete with each other. Gotta support your sisters in this cutthroat performing industry!!
I loved how you get to see the life onstage and off for the members of Beautiful Deceit and their dancers. I could picture every second of their shows and hear their music! I kinda want it to be a read band so I can listen to it for real! 😂
Also, the bands' relationship with each other is so reminiscent of the punk/rock bands I love. They're all family and best friends and that's so wholesome. That just adds to the immersion for me! Rockstars with feelings are the best 🥰
If you love slow burn rockstar romances with an MMC that's more of a softie than you'd think, and an FMC that you are so in awe of, this is definitely the book for you!
Fair warning though, bring your tissues as you will be crying from sadness, healing and love all at once! 😂😭
I am truly invested in this book band and the series and I'm so excited to see where it goes to next!

Invisible Burdens Review
Jillian D Wray is a new author to me. I was very fortunate to be able to review Invisible Burdens. This book was so beautifully written. I really enjoyed the dual point of view between characters. I love how strong willed Noah and Sienna are. They both take pride in what they do.
I loved that Sienna was herself and made her dancing come alive when she listened to beautiful deceit. She did her thing and had not a care in the world.
What really makes the story is how Sienna and Noah are not allowed to have a relationship while being on this tour. It was made clear between the dancers and members of the group from the get go. The way they work around this is beautiful. The tension between the two is mesmerizing. Being able to want someone to bad but not being able to have them is just ahhhh. They both have amazing support through bandmates and dancers. I love the friendship that Sienna and Bri have. Noah and his crew have all known each other for what seems like forever. I found it great that all their parents had helped them with certain stipulations and they all met them.
This is a book that I can read over and over again! Jillian did not disappoint one bit with the book! Thank you so much for allowing me to review it! I look forward to more of your work!!

Our book opens with an introduction to our MMC Noah, the lead singer and front man for metalcore band Beautiful Deceit. We get a good insight into his head and his life before we are thrust into our FMC Sienna's head the next chapter.
We follow both as Sienna, her best friend, and a couple other women from her Aeriel dancing class are chosen to be part of Beautiful Deceits tour.

I fell in love with this book from the first page. The way Jillian so masterfully showed us the inside of Noah's head and crafted his lifestyle, the rest of the band, and his internal struggle was incredible. As the story went on, I grew more and more attached to both the characters and their struggles.
I absolutely loved that this book was straight to it. The spice level was HOT. There was NO miscommunication trope and he-said-she-said or someone getting in the way of their relationship as most books have as a climax.
I would one hundred percent recommend this book over and over to anyone and everyone, especially those that are fans of music books as I am.
Fans of The Words will also find a happy little home in between these pages!
4.5 stars out of 5 for me and I can't wait to read Bri and Brett's story unfold in the next book!

The premise of this story is so unique that the beginning chapters hook you and before you know it you’ve read half the book!
Noah is getting ready to go on tour with his band, Beautiful Deceit. Sienna is an aerial dancer that gets hired to perform with the band during the tour. The caveat is everyone has to sign an NDA. In the contract it states there is to be no relationships between the performers and band members. We can see where this is headed 😍
The heart of this book though is in the details. The beautiful relationship that forms between Noah and Sienna. Their interactions are emotionally charged and mold into something deeper and extremely moving as both connect in ways they didn’t expect. Both are struggling in some aspects and I love how this book explores the emotionality of that. They learn to be vulnerable with one another and that connection just intensifies with their shared love of music. Noah can sing but Sienna we also learn is gifted musically in her own right. The relationship dynamic between the two is a beautiful unfolding and discovery that develops into a forever type of love between the MC’s. You feel they are meant to be. There is one scene specifically I feel that was written so beautifully that it alone is worth reading this book for💗 4.5/5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫

Have you heard of DND? Do not disturb!!!! This book was the epitome of I’m reading and do not wish to be bothered. It went with me everywhere! The dinner table, bedroom, bathroom, the car, etc. If I had even a minute to spare I was reading Invisible Burdens.
There are book boyfriends and then there are book husbands!!!!! Consider me married to Noah Kinkaid. His grit, edge, passion, protection and ability to bring out the best in people and music goes unmatched. Battling his own demons and slaying others at the same time.
Sienna is a woman with undeniable talent and grace. Dealing with a past that shouldn’t be hers to work through alone. The character development here was amazing, I loved watching her evolve through the pages.
Huge shoutout to my new book besties!!! Bri is my girl!!! Sassy, say it like it is, 100 percent has your back best friend. Brett, Ryan and Sloan are amazing in their own right. Everyone needs a tribe, a collective, a band like this.
I couldn’t put this book down and I absolutely recommend reading it!!! I can’t wait for book 2. I’m really ready for Brett’s story, but it’s Sloans that I’m sure will have me all in my feelings…… May have a new husband 🤔

Have you heard of DND? Do not disturb!!!! This book was the epitome of I’m reading and do not wish to be bothered. It went with me everywhere! The dinner table, bedroom, bathroom, the car, etc. If I had even a minute to spare I was reading Invisible Burdens.
There are book boyfriends and then there are book husbands!!!!! Consider me married to Noah Kinkaid. His grit, edge, passion, protection and ability to bring out the best in people and music goes unmatched. Battling his own demons and slaying others at the same time.
Sienna is a woman with undeniable talent and grace. Dealing with a past that shouldn’t be hers to work through alone. The character development here was amazing, I loved watching her evolve through the pages.
Huge shoutout to my new book besties!!! Bri is my girl!!! Sassy, say it like it is, 100 percent has your back best friend. Brett, Ryan and Sloan are amazing in their own right. Everyone needs a tribe, a collective, a band like this.
I couldn’t put this book down and I absolutely recommend reading it!!! I can’t wait for book 2. I’m really ready for Brett’s story, but it’s Sloans that I’m sure will have me all in my feelings…… May have a new husband 🤔

This book!!! I LOVED the chemistry between Noah and Sienna! No third act break up, forbidden love, and a sassy best friend (I cannot wait for Bri to have a book, it HAS to be her and Brett). I loved the drama in this book, it was just the right amount amd not overly obnoxious. Sienna's family is absolutely ridiculous, but Noah's band mates and Bri are absolutely perfect.. she made her own family.

Noah I think I liked immediately. He’s gorgeous, driven, talented and lead singer of Beautiful Deceit. His band is about to go on tour and his manager springs that he’s adding dancers to their performance. Noah wasn’t happy but his manager convinces him that they’re getting more famous and the fans expect more. I love that he’s stressed and stress makes him rub his chest, it just sounds sweet and sexy.
Sienna is a dancer, she’s performs in the air on silk. She’s not as confident as her best friend but she’s as driven as Noah. Their first meeting wasn’t auspicious even though she was star struck. Their second meeting was dismal and Noah was a jerk. By their third meeting sparks are flying and he’s in trouble over this redhead. Their manager had the ladies sign a contract that states no sex with members of the band. Doing so would mean immediate dismissal and forfeiture the rest of their salary, and he could sue them. This book takes very delightful turns that keeps me reading. I love everyone in the band. I picked up this book because the author posted on our Facebook group, don’t let the ugly cover stop you from giving it a shot. The ending is awesome, I’m giving it five stars and highly recommend it. Can’t wait to start reading book two.

I picked up Invisible Burdens to preview it for my book club, (don’t tell anyone but it is a sure thing and we are reading it for the month of April! 🤪)
I devoured this book in a day and a half. It was everything I wanted! This romance was very mature, and deeply satisfying.
This book follows heavy metal band lead singer Noah Kinkaid on the bands first big tour, where they’re unexpectedly paired with backup dancers, enter Sienna! Their relationship is built on support from the very start, and watching them grow—both individually and together was an absolute delight.
One of my favorite things? No unnecessary drama between them. No miscommunication or third-act breakup. Just two people navigating life, challenges, and success with maturity and heart. Add in the beautifully written story, the unique mix of heavy metal and silks dancing, and the perfect balance of emotion and tension, and you have a book that stays with you.
Jillian Wray absolutely nailed it with this one. If you love rock star romances with depth, this is a must-read.

4.5/⭐️ 2/🌶️Invisible Burdens by Jillian D Way is my first rockstar romance and it did not disappoint!
To be honest this is so much more than just a rockstar romance. This book does a great job of exploring music, composing, and performing. Jillian also does a good job of tackling a few different elements in her story. You almost feel transported into this world and get a behind the scenes look into band life. Not just music though, we also get a dancer element as well.
Our FMC Sienna is hired as a performer for Noah’s band. To add another element to the stage for the fans. Noah, our MMC, resists this change to his stage at first, but once he notices how much the crowd enjoys it changes his mind. The chemistry between these two is instant and there is a good amount of tension between them.
The more they get to know one another on a deeper level the more their chemistry blooms on the pages. There is also some great banter between them making it truly electric. The side characters help moving the story along and I do hope we get to see more of the band.
If you are looking for a great rockstar romance to sink your teeth into, with a good plot, romance, and spice. This will be your book! Happy reading!

When you improv your practice to your favorite band and somehow end up getting the chance to go on tour with them as your first big gig, do you take it? Absolutely, and “grab” every opportunity you can, even if that includes the lead singer. I devoured this book in a day! It was so wonderfully and carefully crafted. This book definitely takes you for a ride through both Sienna’s and Noah’s POV. You can truly feel their emotions, not just for each other but for everything happening around them as well. Being a dancer and a rocker this allowed my heart to live out a dream of mine and I loved every minute of it. Jillian D. Wray has a beautiful way of allowing the emotions of each character to come out organically. Whether it was through words, music, or dancing. This has something for everyone. It was playful, sweet, serious, and spicy. I love the family these characters created. Invisible Burdens is definitely worth the read. Let the music and movement of the story feed your soul.

Invisible Burden is the first rockstar romance I've read in a while, and I was not disappointed! Jillian did such a phenomenal job weaving together a story full of character growth, banter, and so much sexual tension. This is definitely a slow burn that's becomes deliciously explosive once that spark is ignited. Noah is the lead vocalist of the overnight sensation, Beautiful Deceit. Sienna is one of the 4 aerial dancers hired to perform with the group during their tour. Throughout the story, we gain insight into the struggles both Noah and Sienna are dealing with while trying to give their all to the tour. With each struggle and almost stolen moments, this couple captured my attention and heart without any plans to let them go! I loved reading how Noah and Sienna interact in stage and become more intimate with each performance. To say the least, I am beyond excited for the next book to come out!
