This series has become such a companion to me. In this book, the original characters have grown older, matured, and now face new challenges in life -- in marriage, in guiding their children, and in leading the others around them. And the younger generation is learning lessons too. I love the family dynamic among the friends, especially the unique relationship between King Eloekim and Lady Amorhi. Amorhi's story has encouraged me so much, from the time she struggled with anxiety, to the personal hardships she experiences in this book. She remains wise and trusting.
