GAH! This book cannot be Krista Luna’s first book! It literally checked EVERY BOX::
✅ Fantastic world building
✅ Characters with layers and growth and independent voices
✅ Enemies to lovers with a viable reason that isn’t solved with a KISS!

✅ Original, this book had some truly fresh and innovative ideas
✅ Humor
✅ Steam that is going to make you wish you had a Varool!
✅ Page-turner that kept me up until midnight because I couldn’t put it down!

Everything just worked! I don’t know what the sci-fi romance community has put in the water, but they keep drinking it! Krista Luna… You have a new stalker, I mean, follower in me, and I can’t wait for book 2!

Prince Lun and Tandy have witty banter and white-hot chemistry, and their romance develops as they search for King Storr and those responsible for launching the missile. Tandy is a warrior, and I am so happy that Prince Lun does not try to tame her. In many books, the FMC goes from fierce to fragile the moment they hook up with the MMC, but not in this book!

Once again, I was floored by the world-building in this book, and I can totally picture Sagittarius One in my head! The storyline was captivating, the sexy times were...steamy, and the characters were relatable and loveable! This book was simply FANTASTIC and a must-read! This author has found a fan in me, and I cannot wait to see what happens next!

THREE FOR THREE! This is the third consecutive five-star book in this series, IMO! I loved it!

This author has written THREE consecutive five-star books! How does she do it? Strong heroines, protective heroes, vivid imagery, world building, steam, and a story that keeps me turning the pages THAT’S HOW!

I couldn't put this book down once I started reading it; it was mesmerizing. There is so much detail in the world-building that I am able to visualize everything that is happening as I read. And the characters... I truly adore the characters in this series. They don’t change who they are for each other; instead, they become something better together, and to me, that is the best kind of romance! When it comes to the heat, whew... is it hot in here or is it just me because I seriously need to find a Varool! Lastly, although this is a fated mates/insta bonding, the characters still must overcome their fears and preconceptions to grow as a couple. They may have an instant bond, but they don't have instant love. That takes work and growth!

In my opinion, this book is outstanding and a must-read for fans of aliens who are protective and respectful, strong female protagonists, evil villains that you genuinely want to squash, and a plot that will keep you eagerly anticipating the next book in the series.

Fated Mates of the Varool is one of my absolute favorite series! If you love alien romance, reading this collection is a must and it gets all my recommendations!

I loved Deirdre! She’s smart, caring and kind. And she’s doing her best to fix the horrors humankind has caused. I loved her resilience, bravery and strength to deal with all the dangers and hardships thrown her way.

And then we have Storr - king of the Varool. Mr. Tall, Striped and Angry! He’s fearsome, bossy and arrogant. But he’s also fiercely protective, honorable and extremely direct. I loved everything about him!

The development of their relationship was quite a wild ride. Mating frenzy, animosity, passion, distrust, secrets, guilt, thirst for vengeance… But despite everything, the chemistry between Deirdre and Storr was amazing and scorching hot. They were undeniably a perfect match!
In addition, the worldbuilding was fantastic! And we have an adorable alien pet - Johnny was absolutely the cutest and now I want a munk-cat!

Overall, the story is a wonderful read filled with danger, fast-paced action, twists, suspense, steamy romance and magnificent characters.

I absolutely loved it!

I love it when a story starts with a bang!

Tandy is such a badass! She’s so strong, confident, brave and she’s got a great sense of duty. I loved that she stood her own no matter what. She’s absolutely amazing and I loved her so much!

And then we have Prince Lun. Oh, that male is absolutely magnificent! He’s fiercely protective, honorable, smoking hot, bossy, noble and very, very perceptive. And I loved his possessiveness so much! I adored everything about him!

Everything that happened between Tandy and Lun was so perfect. There was a lot of tension and distrust between the two but I loved how protective they were of each other when facing danger. Their chemistry was off-the-charts hot and they were so great together. Tandy and Lun were truly a badass couple and such a perfect match!

In addition, the worldbuilding was phenomenal! I loved Sagittarius One more and more with each new chapter. And, of course, now I want wolv-wolf!

Overall, the story is another magnificent addition to the series! It’s filled with danger, fast-paced action, suspense, adventure, secrets, twists, steamy romance and wonderful characters.

I couldn’t put it down and absolutely loved every single page of it!

I loved Kira so much! She’s so smart, resourceful, responsible and kind. I loved her bravery when facing danger and her determination to succeed in finding a solution to the Folri problems. Even more, she had such a sweet and sunny personality - quite in contrast to her grumpy husband.

And Head of War Duke Grol is not just grumpy - he’s SUPER grumpy! He’s one of the toughest Varoolian warriors - big, strong, fearsome and bossy. But underneath all his growly attitude hides a fiercely protective, caring and sweet male. I absolutely adored everything about him!

The development of their relationship was so perfect! Kira and Grol had fantastic chemistry and the passion they shared was off-the-charts hot. Even more, they were an amazing team and complemented each other so well. They’re definitely a force to be reckoned with and an absolutely perfect match!

In addition, the worldbuilding was phenomenal, as usual! We got to explore more of Sagittarian One and even the Folri ships. The storyline and the new discoveries kept me glued to the pages till the very end. And, let’s not forget Gigi - oh, I loved Gigi so much!

Overall, the story is another remarkable addition to the series. It’s filled with fast-paced action, danger, suspense, adventure, twists, steamy romance and magnificent characters.

I couldn’t put it down and absolutely loved every single page of it!

Book 1 - The king

In creating a virus capable of rendering the enemy sick, thus disturbing his progress so that she and her father may claim this planet as their new homeland was the main goal of Chief Virologist Diedre.
However something went very wrong and the virus mutated into some biological agent that killed all males of one race, the humans, and all the female off the other race.

Storr is the king of that other race and his most cherished wish is to inflict pain and ultimately death on the creator and spreader of this atrocity.

Book 2 - The Prince

Something went very wrong and the virus mutated into some biological agent that killed all males of one race, the humans, and all the female off the other race.

Storr is the king of that other race and decides to go down and see if anything was missed or overlooked. Varoolian law states that he must marry and consume the marriage before he heads out. That is when he discovers Diedre, the daughter of the admiral and his fated mate.

Lun is Stoor's heir, brother and the Crown Prince. He is put in charge when the new married couple leave and is amongst the people who witness a missile fired from the planet surface, take down the royal shuffle.

He flatly states that he will not accept his king and brother 's death without verification and that he is going down to the planet now. The Varoolian law comes into effect and he must mate and consume the union before leaving the station.

Tandy Roberts is the colonel in charge of security for the humans and, this happened on her watch. She must accompany whoever is going down from the other side. The Duke warrior steps forward and volunteers to mate with Tandy and take the prince's place.

Lun steps forward and vehemently sais no as Tandy is his or his fated mate.

Book 3 - The Warlord.

Grol is a Duke and the Warlord of the Verool Empire. He swore to the late queen of his homeworld that he would protect her two sons, the actual King Storr and the crown prince Lun. With the two perilous adventures that the two just went through, he feels deep down that he has done a poor job and blames himself for failing to honor his late queen.

Kira lost her father a year or so ago. He was an engineer on the vessel where she was born and her closest friend and mentor as she also embraced the Engineering profession. As a matter of fact, everytime something goes wrong, they call on her to fix it.

This is what happens when after repairing a sewage pipe, she is summoned to the admiral's conference room. upon her arrival, she is shown the main projection screen where nothing works. while working, Kira overhears part of a conversation where a weapon used by their common enemy , the Fiori, has been confiscated but no one seems to know how it works. They ask the head of Engineering who got promoted by taking credit for some one else' work and. obviously she has no clue. Kira gives a mumbled opinion and is surprised when Grol ask that she elaborate. To prove her theory, she must travel to the planet surface . The treaty conditions are quite clear. She must mate and consumate before being allowed to make The voyage. King Storr proposes an officer but Grol rizes and objects as he claims that Kira is his mate.


The author, through her gift, succeeds in writing a series that carries strong messages.
1 -Together we will triumph against a common foe, but we surely wont individually.
2 -Trust is essential in a relationship.
3 - Don't judge a book by it's cover and don't take the weight of the world on your shoulders.
A great story that I highly recommend and rate 5 Stars.

I read these stories as they were released and am sharing my reviews on the box set with hopes they are of help... I enjoyed the stories individually, and the way the series came together forming a larger story -- Enjoy!

Possessed by the Alien King: A Scifi Alien Warrior Romance (Fated Mates of the Varool Book 1)

Deirdre has regrets, and things she wishes had turned out differently, but more importantly, right now, she has a chance to lay a foundation for a better future, and she'll bite her tongue, and sacrifice to create that future for everyone.

Storr has a lot of pent up anger, with good reason, and there is no small part of him that wishes the ones who wronged his people were still alive, so he could make them pay... but he's trying to press forward.

When events conspire to halt their progress towards a mutual better future, Storr and Deirdre begin to discover just how much common ground they do or do not have, and the roadblocks in their way begin to feel almost like a whodunit all their own as questions arise, is this alliance even shakier than at first believed? Are the humans telling the truth? Are the Varool tired of the games these humans play?

This done in one Kindle Unlimited quick read creates an interesting Universe I look forward to revisiting, as trust becomes a central issue on personal and political levels.



Possessed by the Alien Prince: A Scifi Alien Warrior Romance (Fated Mates of the Varool #2)

Lun is an Alien Prince who has already had an eventful day when life just keeps happening and he finds himself determined to go on a rescue mission... and telling an equally determined to go human woman, if she goes, it's with him.

Tandy has trust issues, probably part of the job description for the Chief of Security, and likely to be at the forefront the day a peace treaty is signed. Never before has doing her duty been a struggle... but the more she gets to know Lun the more she respects the code he lives by. A code that doesn't 100% align with her duty.

This done in one Kindle Unlimited quick read is a great second story in this series. It can be read as a stand alone, but is a richer read having read the first story. These characters do a great job of letting their actions speak louder than words, and reach that amazing point where they choose to see the person they've gotten to know, not who they assumed they were at first glance.



Possessed by the Alien Warlord (Fated Mates of the Varool #3)

"I wanted to take this entire ship apart!"

Grol's people have been dealing with an enemy that uses ships, weapons and hammers they can't track because they simply don't understand how they operate or how to scan for them.

Kira is the human Engineer everyone calls for the most challenging problems, and as we discover during this story, it's with good reason.

This done in one Kindle Unlimited quick read deals with looking at problems from different angles, being willing to reexamine what you thought you knew in light of new information, and discovering just hoe important, and special, a clever, and creative, mind can be.

Well things certainly escalated since the novella didn’t they? I like the characters and the overarching plot of this series. My main gripe is that I’m finding the book plots to be similar, especially books 1 and 2. Get married but don’t trust the human, go on a trek through the jungle picking up a pet along the way, catch feelings but then secrets are revealed and things momentarily implode, get attacked by the evil bugs and realize you love each other secrets or not and then HEA with pregnancy announcement. I really do like the characters who with the exception of some personality traits based on culture are quite different from one another as are the way they relate to their partners. On to the next set! I want to see them kill these bugs.

These exciting stories were filled with suspense, danger, and romantic heat as two different species came together to rebuild a community that shared unimaginable personal loss and hopes for a peaceful existence on the newly discovered and beautiful planet teaming with alien vegetation and wildlife. Discovering that the vicious insectoid enemy that destroyed the Varool home planet was now targeting this new land, complicated resettlement and threatened annihilation for both humans and the Varoolians, suspense, fast-paced drama and conflict ruled throughout these stories. It was glorious! Very Good Read!!!!

These stories are well-written, entertaining, with just enough eroticism, suspense, and action to keep you reading! I'm definitely a sci-fi enthusiast, and I like the anticipation of mysterious and difficult situations that the main characters have to solve! Lots of love, romance, and erotic scenes are a bonus! GREAT series

This is a humans on generational ships story. They find a good planet that other aliens want too! Humans do something stupid and get human males and Varool women killed. This sets up the enter species mating. They get HEAs. I would LOVE to get a spin off Series with the VARAX and another set of humans.

You get three complete stories that will knock your socks off. You have lots of anger and mistrust in the beginning. The Humans and the Varool are going to have to realize that they need each other if they are to survive the coming of the Alien bugs. Lots of action and adorable animals.
