Like many people, the Watts case is interesting to me, since I never even knew it happened in 2018. I can't even remember how I found this case and I wish I didn't. It is so heartbreaking.

Its so frustrating to know that CW appears uninterested or incapable of telling the truth about what REALLY happened that night. He has given so many versions, that people feel the truth is somewhere in parts and pieces from the versions he has given us.

It is a horrible case and I still can't wrap my head around it. I mourn for these beautiful souls and truly hope that Karma knows where to find CW when it comes hunting for him.

I have read Letters From Cristopher as well as The Murders of Christopher Watts and now this third book.

I know there was/is an uproar over Letters From Christopher, but never really followed it all.

This book starts with Cadle defending herself - a lot. Once we get pass that, she does give her interpretation of the events of that horrible night, by combining some of the things CW told her, along with her own version. A lot of focus on NK and the role sex and darkness played on the murders.

This book needs some serious editing because, in this form, it feels more like stream of thought. There are a few thoughts that seem to contradict each other, especially when it comes to whether - mainly when she writes about whether a darkness took over CW, which is why CW does not remember parts of that night and yet later, she writes that he knew exactly what he was doing.

I will not write about Cadle's opinions about what happened that night as I don't want to give anything away, but I will say that, for the most part, I don't agree with her and believe me, I am NOT a lover of CW - he deserved the death penalty.

I will leave it here - make up your own mind if you will. This is a very short read.

A waste of time

This book is so poorly written. The writer has copied and pasted transcripts from interviews which must fill 60% (at least) of the book so she has barely written anything! What she has written, is so repetitive and poorly organised or just a way to advertise her previous book. She says she is a woman of God who is doing this for the right reason - she's doing it to make money and her shameless plugging and advertising of her previous book is shocking.
I really wouldn't advise buying this book.

The book is excellent!

I really like the books by Cheryl Cadle. I feel like she genuinely puts the truth out there not worried about who looks good, bad, or worse than anyone. That's the only way to tell a story. I feel she has been very very thorough in her research and I look forward to any future books that she writes.

Half of the book was copy and pastes of interviews. If you followed the case you already know this information. Lots of misspellings and typos too.
