As soon as this landed on my kindle, life was forgotten, I was even mean't to post a currently reading graphic on my social media accounts but I couldn't stop reading not even for a second!! This was my favourite within these stand-alone interconnected books, I loved it so much I barely came up for air!!
I guess when I think back to why I loved this as much as I did, it all comes down to the fact that they were on a level field, she wasn't a damsel in distress needing rescue, she put herself in dangerous situations and my heart was beating erratically hoping for the best outcome, and for that they were perfectly matched in everything.
Alexei Koslov is head of the bratva, he was first introduced to us in Sinful Heir so his story was one I was highly anticipating. A ruthless assassin instilling fear in his enemies but now there's a new cartel trying to take over the underbelly of crime, both wanting to take down the other. Only one will be successful.
Isabella Terrero (The Princess of Terror) is expected to follow in her mother's footsteps, by day she plays the perfect dutiful socialite, by night she's a vigilante rescuing unfortunates who have fallen in the hands of sex traders. She's as fearless as they come and can hold her own, she's the Trojan horse no one sees coming. She trained at St. Monach's where she was sent by her mother to learn the fine art of sex slavery and drug smuggling.
These two are sworn enemies..

Best book in the series for sure. Still insta love though, and I hate how soft Alexei was in this, but I actually liked the heroine so that's a plus.

We finally get to the end of the series and Alexei's story! The man who seemed to love playing match maker with his friends and brother.
I was not sure what to expect with this story and how it would all play out. I was quite impressed by Isabella's character and strength. She was just pure fire with her mission and end goal. She wanted to destroy her mother's empire that relied on disgusting old man buying children for their pleasure. Isabella spent a good portion of the last few years to help as many children as possible and get them away from the cruelty her mother and her goons wanted for them.
I admired Isabella for taking advantage of her status and power to help them. She spent her years in St. Monarch’s quietly learning to fight and train rather than what her mother expected – which was to learn to take over the business.
Alexei and Isabella meet during a random party with disguise and have a ONS. Against a wall at the club lol
I actually was shocked to find out that this book had the amnesia trope! Isabella tries to stop her mother and kill her but gets caught and falls. She wakes up with no recollection of the last few years where she is a vigilante. Alexie uses this moment to rope her into a relationship (engagement to be precise) and pretend like they have been together for years and are both attempting to destroy her mother.
I knew this was a BAD idea because she would be volatile when she found out the truth and realised she was used by the guy who she was falling in love with but of course we needed the angst and the drama as well as the suspense on the moment she found out.
I really enjoyed these two MMC's. They were so fun and had great chemistry between them. It was even better to watch the elusive Alexei fall to his knees for a woman who matched him in every way and was his absolute equal and actually probably superior to him.
Loved seeing the previous couples too!
Just an overall great series and I loved getting to know the parents of the Sinners books and all that they had to endure to get their individual HEA's!

Alexei's story was my highly anticipated book of not only October but of the year! I have been dying to see who would steal his heart and it's no surprise to me that it's someone as strong and fearless in her beliefs as he is.
Isabella and Alexei have amazing chemistry but their connection is more than just sexual they have a bond in their hatred of her mother, known as the Queen of Terror. This story is action pact and we get to see some of our favorite people from Michelle Heard's past Organized Crime books.
There is so much I want to say about this book but I don't want to spoil anything. I will say that this was my absolute favorite book by Michelle Heard I have read to date, and that's saying something because I have read a lot of her books. I seriously couldn't put this book down and finished it in one day.
I would recommend this book to anyone that enjoys Steamy Dark Romances or Organized Crime Romances. There is a sensitive subject matter in this book and I would advise readers to read the trigger warning the author has posted.

A mafia romance read full with action and suspense.
Although the main characters’ feelings of love were evolved very fast (the hero’s especially), I enjoyed this story. The plot was intriguing and Alexei and Isabella were strong and fearless.
The portrait of Alexei needed a better development, one minute was tough and the next full of love... 🤷🏻♀️

There's nothing that i love more than when a hero who's a badass powerful bratva is soft and loving to the heroine and only her😍😍 Anyone else? He doesn't show that side to anyone else but to the heroine herself, of course a d she have his heart fully.... It's heart whelming for me to read characters like that, it's like me and you against the world😍😍
The story is well written, no unnecessary childish drama... It's safe romantic hot love story! Damn i love this author and I hope she will make more books about this series or others cause I'm in love. Obsessed lol.
AND WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT THE CHARACTER IS THAT THE HEROINE HERSELF KNOWS HOW TO KILL AND DEFEND HERSELF PHYSICALLY AND CAN RIDE HER MOTORCYCLE LIKE A PRO. I LOVE IT WHEN THE HEROINE CAN DRIVE A MOTORCYCLE 😍😍😍 AND THE HERO LIKES IT TOO😍😍 YES BADASS WOMAN❤️❤️❤️❤️
Overall the story is freakin amazing with the badass scenes from both characters the hero and the heroine. It's not boring at all.... And how they love each other and when they're together, the only thing that matters is them and not others, it's very romantic and hot💙💙🥺🥺🥺

He doesn't say that all the time though like too much it's awkward, but sometimes when it's need to well at least for me it seems that way though... I love it when a hero does that. I love it very much and no complain here.

I read the other book from the author and it's actually my first book that I read from the author. It's called "Taken By The Sinner" and for me that's more romantic than this one. More romantic like more romantic times together for them going out ect, it has actions scenes like fighting the enemy but it's more about the romance though, the hero and heroine have many moments of them really shows how strong the chemistry between them, and the epilogue is longer like 15 freakin years man... Hopefully the author will make more amazing books 😍😍😍

The story is well written, no unnecessary childish drama... It's safe romantic hot love story! Damn i love this author and I hope she will make more books about this series or others cause I'm in love. Obsessed lol.

I read the other book from the author and it's actually my first book that I read from the author. It's called "Taken By The Sinner" and for me that's more romantic than this one. More romantic like more romantic times together for them going out ect, it has actions scenes like fighting the enemy but it's more about the romance though, the hero and heroine have many moments of them really shows how strong the chemistry between them, and the epilogue is longer like 15 freakin years man... Hopefully the author will make more amazing books 😍😍😍

Найочікуваніша книга з цього циклу, дуже хотіла дізнатися історію Олексія Козлова та Ізабелли Террерo🔥 і вони мене не розчарували.
Ізабелла Терреро - або ще як її називають «принцеса жаху». Вона єдина спадкоємиця сімейного бізнесу, тому мама відправляє її в академію св.Монарха.
Олексій Козлов - найсмертоносніший асассин та новий бос «братви». Він звик контролювати і передбачати все. Але одна ніч з незнайомкою в клубі, і вона не виходить з голови та розсіює його контроль.
Мені дуже сподобалась головна героїня - Ізабелла. Вона сильна, вольова та розумна. Коли вона з дитинства спостерігала як мати веде бізнес - картелю, єдиною думкою стало як зруйнувати це все вщент. І вона змогла врятувати не мало людей та відвести будь-які підозри від себе. Для матері і людей навколо вона розбещена принцеса, а вночі вона темний жнець на байку який рятує невинних🖤🔥
Стосунки головних героїв зачіпили мене, не було лишної драми все було в міру. Кожен отримав те чого хотів: помсту, владу і кохання.
Також сподобалось як Олексій не дивлячись на сварку з Ізабеллою, спогстерігав за нею та врятував її.
Це була заключна книга в цій серії, і вона мені найбільше сподобалась. Цікавість до головного з‘явилась ще при прочитанні першої книги і з кожною наступною він тільки зростав. Це було легка і не нав‘язливе читання, я відпочила і наповнилася купую емоцій.

Just wow! Michelle Heard is delivering one epic mafia romance after another and I cannot stop reading. Tears of Salvation was high on adrenaline, emotion and chemistry. One ruthless alpha mafia king. One fierce mafia princess. And one explosive, jaw dropping and unputdownable love story.
Alexei Coslov, the head of Russian Bratva doesn't like people who sells and destroys innocent lives. Sonia Terrero is pushing in his territory and she needs to be taken down. And then he finds out about the Princess of Terror. Isabella. Who acts like a socialite princess publicly but in dark of night, she rescues the girls and she wants to take down her mother. By crooked turns of events, Isabella loses her memory and Alexei has this chance of his lifetime. To make her believe that she is his fiance and earn her allegiance. But what will happen when he falls for Isabella and she finds out about everything?
I just love how the author does the dual POV and she easily goes from the male to female. This story was packed with action, suspense and drama and I couldn't blink in fear of missing something important happening. This story was so tightly written and brilliantly executed. Alexei has two sides and I am obsessed with both! His dark, twisted, coldhearted, merciless and cruel side. And the caring and soft side that he shows only to people he trusts and loves. Like he showed to Isabella. I admire Isabella's fire so much. She is so bada$$! Smart. Beautiful. Honest. Kind. Sassy. Strong. The full package. And the chemistry was insanely hot. The plot is so fast and clean that I was completely immersed in it! The enemies to lovers tension was so pretty and I love how Isabella didn't take it easy on Alexei.
If you love to read sexy and nail biting mafia romance, Tears of Salvation by Michelle Heard is your first choice.

i actually liked this one very much. it was kind of insta-love like the author's other works, but it was more realistic/tolerable. alexei and isabella were amazing and had all the badass power couple vibes which i really like. there was a lot of action and drama and it kept me hooked from beginning to end.

That is until she meets her devil again and this time without a mask. She knows who he is. He is someone she can never be with. The one she was supposed to hate until her last breath. He is the head of the Bratva and her sworn enemy. Nothing will ever be the same now.

ALEXEI IS HERE!!! God, I have been waiting for this man's book ever since I met him in Tristan's book which let me tell you was a long time ago 🤣🤣
Alexei and Isabella were perfect in every way. I loved that Isabella was his match in all the ways. She was the princess of terror and the one woman who could beat Alexei. The best thing that I would like to mention about this book was the sheer admiration Alexei had for Isabella! Usually from the book I have read, the heroes think of the heroine as someone who needs to be protected whereas Alexei worshipped the ground Isabella walked on. You could feel how much he admired her strength and how he never ever tried to cage her. He never stopped her from doing anything she wanted, rather he made sure to stick by her side and help her in any way he could. That was what made this book so freaking amazing for me. This mutual respect between the hero and heroine is often lacking in most book but not in this one.
If you love a heroine who gives as good as she gets, who knows how to fight and kill and bring the man she calls her enemy to his knees in love then yes, you will definitely love Isabella as much as me! If you love a man who is ruthless when he kills but would literally do anything for the people he loves and protects, a man who bows down to his queen and to the woman he loves and is not ashamed to show it, then hell yess, Alexei is your man!
Definitely recommending this book to all the dark mafia romance loving people. This is a standalone romance with a HEA and it's the best one of this series!

In spite of him being so powerful he has only one equally powerful rival, Sonia Terrero. But she is Ruthless and Cruel and her business of flesh trade is despised by Alexei. But she's equally powerful so they both rule their own sides in the world.
But when Sonia starts moving into his territory, Alexei knows War has been declared and he starts moving forces to waging the big war.
Isabella despises her mother but she knows the only way to take her down is from the inside. So she saves what her mom wants to destroy risking her very life.
I truly admired Isabella, I think she's one of my absolute favorite heroines I've read. Not only is she strong, brave and a fighter but being named the Princess of terror she uses her strength and power to destroy the evil even if it's her own family.
That starting scene is so seductive when Isabella crashes the party in a club and hooks up with a complete stranger not knowing that the very powerful man is none other than Alexei Koslov.
There is so much going on this yet I felt the pacing of the story was absolutely perfect so we could savour the sweet moments, the action ones as well as enjoy the thrilling ones to the max.
I loved how Isabella works like an angel of death in the night saving innocent lives.
BUT WHEN A ATTACK RESULTS IN SOMETHING THAT CHANGES HER, ALEXEI STRIDES TO USE THAT TO HIS ADVANTAGE.
Not realising in the process of using her as ally he starts falling for her. The most powerful and deadly man brought to his knees by none other than his enemy's daughter.
It was sheer pleasure and sinfully dangerous watching this two very powerful and strong people attracted to each other and then joining forces together to form a very strong alliance.
Ahhh... I had so much fun reading this one. Absolutely couldn't stop turning the pages. Especially the build up towards the huge battle at the end is just sooooo freaking good, I was merely hanging onto the ride.
Also I loved revisiting the gang and Demetri and Ariana. Also Ana, the sweet, new girl, Isabella's friend me meet, I loved her and hope there might be a book for her. Fingers crossed.

I sort of went backwards with this one, LOL, so I figured I have to go back to the first book (even though they are all standalones, I got intrigued by the secondary characters in this book and I just want to see, how they came to be...)
Tears of Salvation is a fast paced, action packed motion with intriguing characters, both heroine and hero are on the other side of the law, LOL, well yeah, one is an assassin and a head of Bratva, and the other is a vigilante by night and a cartel socialite working to over thrown her mother, the Queen of Terror (cartel sex slavery)... once they meet, first by a chance encounter, and later by circumstances, things just go fast...
I liked it in general, I loved the characters, BUT sometimes, things just weren't in pace within the pace, it's hard to explain, I just didn't get the INSTA factor, it was kind of "off", I got over it, obviously, but still, it's a thin line in crossing over the hardcore exterior of a male character and then transforming him into this big-hearted mush, when it's obvious that he's not...generally speaking..., it's hard to visualize this romantisizing assassin and brutal killer...but then again, he might be both in one body...*shrugs*
but yet again, sure, it might be just "me" and not "you" issue...so there *wink*

Tears of Salvation is a fast paced, action packed motion with intriguing characters, both heroine and hero are on the other side of the law, LOL, well yeah, one is an assassin and a head of Bratva, and the other is a vigilante by night and a cartel socialite working to over thrown her mother, the Queen of Terror (cartel sex slavery)... once they meet, first by a chance encounter, and later by circumstances, things just go fast...
I liked it in general, I loved the characters, BUT sometimes, things just weren't in pace within the pace, it's hard to explain, I just didn't get the INSTA factor, it was kind of "off", I got over it, obviously, but still, it's a thin line in crossing over the hardcore exterior of a male character and then transforming him into this big-hearted mush, when it's obvious that he's not...generally speaking..., it's hard to visualize this romantisizing assassin and brutal killer...but then again, he might be both in one body...*shrugs*
but yet again, sure, it might be just "me" and not "you" issue...so there *wink*

The only thing I loved in here was Ana's and the h's connection. Dnf after how easily the h forgave the H for playing with her mind. I am someone who holds grudges and hated how the H was acting like he was the victim when he chose to play this act of marriage and all. I hated how the h was being convinced in here that she should forgive him and that it wasn't a big deal (that's how it felt to me) and then the writing was weird....I wouldn't say bad but weird.
Though hats off for making a badass female lead but I hated that she became a submissive weak person when it came to the H like....fight for yourself! He took advantage of you being unwell.

I read this as a participant in DE's Underworld Kings Buddy Read Challenge and was pleasantly surprised.
Alexei Koslov, the Devil and head of the Bratva, is stunned when he sees his party crasher through his binoculars The woman who cast a spell on me until I was solely focused on her. The hook-up that’s turned out to be a mischievous goddess of chaos.
Isabella Terrero, party crasher, The Princess of Terror who’s expected to follow in her mother’s footsteps, Sonia the Queen of Terror.
But Isabella has other plans, plans that coincides with Alexei's. But will the two be able to form an alliance to destroy a common enemy, maybe even a marriage alliance.
After all, both Alexei and Isabella are extremely intelligent and stubborn, highly trained and skilled assassins with a combustible sexual chemistry.
The story is told in dual POV, alternating between Alexei and Isabella. It is well written, it flows smoothly and will keep you engaged. Fantastic read.
While this is portrait as a complete standalone novel, I do feel like it would have been more enjoyable if I'd read the other books first. Because, let's be real Alexei as matchmaker? Come on, wouldn't that be awesome to read?

These two they were just fitting perfectly together and they gave us so many beautiful moments in here...

Yes, every book in the latest releases of the author is standalones, but honestly, all these stories are connected and I enjoyed every single one of them...
Michelle had created an amazing world with so many intriguing characters and now, I feel kind of lost... I just need more of this world... I became kind of addicted!!!

This is the first book I have read by Michelle Heard and it won't be the last. I requested this ARC as part of the Underworld King collection. This is my favorite entry I have read so far and it was so unique! A One Night Stand, unknown enemies to lovers, and partners in revenge all mix together for this fiery, dramatic tale.
What I liked: I loved Isabella and Alexsei! These characters each had such great motivation and I was rooting for them to succeed in their plans all the way through. They are on different sides of a certain situation but maybe not as much as they think they are. (I know I am being vague but I really don't want to ruin this one.) When they get thrown together in an interesting way.... their chemistry is almost too much too handle.
What I didn't like: There wasn't much that I didn't like. I was very engaged in the plot and the romance was exciting and spicy. There is a decision that Alexsei makes that had me worried I would hate him... but.... the author really pulls it off and I was rooting for him to grovel.. and to mean it. I personally feel that he does the right thing by the end. There was just so much at stake and I say his reasoning to a certain degree.
Over all this was a great read and I was loving every minute of it. I really want to read the other books that connect with this one.

Well, I've finished reading this episode. And I can say that this is a second-rate average guy. If the first three books were still more or less normal and then with a big stretch, then the last two just totally suck. Although I had high hopes for them. But they did not materialize. No zest, no plot twists, nothing at all. Everything is simple, smooth and emotionless. Nothing to get hooked on. The most important thing is where their love came from. After all, there is no attraction, no chemistry between the characters. It's all too simple and naive. Everything happens at the speed of a second from Hello to I love you. And it sucks. When you expect one thing from a book and you get something else. Apart from the beautiful cover, there is nothing worthwhile in these books.

🇺🇸 I have loved this world since the first St Monarch’s Academy book. The Koslov brothers were characters that I loved since the start and Alexei’s story was even better that I imagined.
Isabella was amazing. She’s badass but with a big heart and everything she believes is something I identify with. I loved she was against the crimes her mom was into. They are despicable.
Also, the way they connected that first time was original, sexy and set the perfect pace for the story.
Action, love, great world building and characters that are impossible not to love make this book a must read!
PS: can we have Ana’s story please?

If you are looking for a story to blow your mind and hold you captive from the very beginning, then this is the story for you! I have read all the books in the Underworld Kings and eagerly awaited Alexei’s story. He has had a presence from the very first book and you can’t help but fall in love with him over and over! He is all alpha, all male, all dark, dirty and delicious! He’s always been a bit reluctant to having any sort of a relationship, so when he meets Isabella, you can just feel that he has finally met his match!
Isabella is no meek woman, she is resilient, strong, caring and has a mission in life she is determined to fulfill. No one, and I mean no one, will get in her way. Not even the ever elusive Alexei! But somehow, someway he tries to break down her resistance to prove to her that together, they can be a force to be reckoned with.
This story is not for the feint of heart as it touches on a sensitive subject. But as you read, you will understand Isabella’s devotion to her cause and how it affects Alexei. These two characters have such steamy, smoking chemistry that you will feel the heat coming off the pages. Bravo to this author for writing a story that will forever be in my heart. If ever there is a book you need to read, this is most definitely it!

They should never have connected the way they did. The desire. The turmoil. The love. Their shared hate for the evil that exists… It was crazy. It was wild...

AMAZING start then…meh. I couldn’t get past the twist at 35%. Stopped me dead in my tracks. I was so bummed. If someone reads this and the twist doesn’t last long, please comment and tell me so I can finish. Otherwise, just not interested. 🤷♀️
