I was the product of an affair, and when my father stepped up to raise me, my mother handed me over, no questions asked.
I had my brother Luca and my niece Alessa; that's all I needed. When Luca passed away, it thrust Alessa and me into leading the Italian Mafia. I stepped up until she was ready and gladly handed the mantle back to her capable hands after I helped her forge an alliance with the Perez brothers.
Now, I have one goal in life: to win back Evander Perez.
Then Evie walked into our lives.
Ghosts from our pasts keep rising to haunt us, trying to rip away the very thing I would fight to the death to save.
Now, Evander and I, his brother Mateo, my bodyguard Gray, and an enemy none of us saw coming have vowed to protect her. No matter the cost.
All I Have: Part One is part of a duet and will end on a cliffhanger. It's a why-choose romance that contains MM content. Intended for mature listeners.
Okay. I really wanted to love this, because Riches to Riches was an absolute vibe. But honestly, this one just fell flat.
I really couldn’t get on board with Evie at allll; she was just the biggest downer and honestly just bleh as a character. Like I get she’s been in an abusive relationship and is traumatised as hell but when you compare her to Les from R2R she’s just so meh.
I also didn’t feel the guys were as well written as the R2R gang either. The only one who really stood out to me was Hart and that’s because he wanted absolutely no part in the drama for most of the book.
I also feel like I would have preferred Micah and Van to stay as an MM couple rather than get dragged into the harem. Micah repeatedly says that he’s always pick Van over Evie, and even Van is not at all convinced that he’s into Evie for most of the book.
Story wise NOTHING HAPPENED. Like the whole way through Evie was getting stalked by her ex and it was them just dithering about, talking about how pissed off they were and having sex. Like I am a smut reader, I get it, but also we need a plot. Like in R2R I feel like there was so much more threat (3 of the guys nearly died in the first R2R ffs) and in this one all the actual threat happened in like last 2% of the book.
So yeah. This one made me sad. But at least I’ll always have Gage and the R2R gang.

Honestly I expected more from this book. It was an exact replica of the first book in this series just more boring. The book felt a bit rushed by the writer. There were gaps in the way it was written, like the male characters relationships progressing without even giving the reader a clue of what happened. Some sentences didn't make sense at times and i had to re-read multiple times a sentence just to give up and move on with the story. The editing was better than the first 2 but still felt like by the third book in a series this should've been fixed by now???
Evies character got on my very last nerve. Like, was it really necessary to say every other sentence how overweight and insecure she was? It got old QUICK. Also she had the personality of a fly. I couldn't understand to save my life why they were head over heels with her. Other than being insecure and having the "cutest giggles known to man" she had nothing going on for herself other than getting on my nerves.
Again, there were a lot of similarities to the first book. Even the spicy scenes felt similar. Hartley was very much like a combination of Ryder and Holden, Gray like Dex, Evander like Leo and Mateo like Gage. Like, if you're gonna make a story 2 books long, least you can do is make the characters different. The thing we were looking forward the most as readers was the backstory to Evander and Micah and that just got brushed off like it was nothing.
One good thing about the book was that as much as I hated it I ate that shit up and started the second one 😂
Last but not least...What is up with the fucking love seat. Every single chapter and scene mentioned the fucking loveseat. Like y'all dont got a couch or sum? ☠️
Could’ve been a 5 star read if not for Evie. I was honestly so happy when I found out the fmc is plus size, but what a let down. Evie has no personality, she’s insecure AF, has low self-esteem, and kept bringing up her weight in like 80% of the book!! I don’t understand the infatuation with her. & tbh Micah and Van should’ve stayed as MM. they have such a beautiful relationship and there really was no need for them to join the harem. I don’t even think poor Van wanted to hahaha.
4.5 stars. Is this book hot? Yes. Do I care as much about the characters? No. Really, I don’t love Evie. But I flew through it and I am glad the story resolved itself at the end. I’ll finish the next one over the weekend.
this is an absolute gem. From start to finish, it had me completely captivated. What I loved most about this book was how it balanced so many things so seamlessly—especially the representation of plus-size characters. It's rare to find a book where body diversity is portrayed with such authenticity and care, without it being the main focus or a source of drama. It’s just part of who the characters are, and that felt so refreshing. It’s the kind of representation we don’t see enough of, and Ames Mills nails it by showing that beauty and worth are about so much more than appearance.
Speaking of the characters, Van and Micha are absolutely adorable together! Their chemistry is undeniable, and I couldn’t help but root for them every step of the way. They’re both such well-rounded, lovable people, and their connection feels so real and earned. The way their relationship develops is everything I look for in a romance. You can’t help but smile when they’re together. Their interactions are playful, sweet, and full of depth, making their journey both heartwarming and full of emotion.
The pacing of the book is perfect, and the emotional highs and lows are balanced just right. It’s a story that lingers long after you’ve turned the last page. Mills’ writing is so inviting, and you really feel like you’re living in the world of the characters, experiencing their growth alongside them. i cant wait too see what part 2 has in store
However, aside Evander and Micah’s emotional connection (and even that is shaky), I didn’t believe there was anything deeper between any of these people unlike with the first duology where I could point to 2 believable pairings (at least to me)
Here’s hoping the next book brings more in the feelings department.
PS: make sure you have the next book on hand when you start this because that cliffhanger? Brutal.
I felt like this was a very similar story to riches to riches except this time the FMC is the one who doesn’t know whereas it was Leo last time (although he kinda knew because of Van and Mateo). I don’t feel like there was much difference in the characters from the first book. Similarities like the funny one Mateo/Gage, the hacker Holden/Hartley, pierced members Hartley/Ryder etc etc. everything felt too familiar they only difference is there were less group sex scenes and more M/M action than FM or Group action than the first book.
Having said all of that I actually enjoyed this book, I felt like it was more centred around Mateo and his relationships with everyone whereas riches to riches was more about Les and all her relationships. I loved Mateo from the first series so it was a no brainer to read this. I can’t wait to hear more about Grays background and what really happened with the twins.
Evie is obviously traumatised from her time with Aaron and is trying to be her old self again. I don’t know if I believe she was ever feisty and hot headed because it seems she was always self conscious and afraid of people like Aaron mentioned at the end, he took her because he knew she was weak and could manipulate her but it’s hinted throughout she’s been this tough, stubborn girl so where was she when Aron only saw a meek and weak girl?
I loved seeing the conclusion to Van and Micha’s will they/won’t they relationship we saw in the first two books.
I feel like they went against the Russian Mafia and a crazy cop last time and they time they are just going against a gang and that feels like a let down in some ways as it wasn’t bigger than the previous book.
I can’t give it 5 stars, but felt 3 wasn’t enough so I went with 4 but this actually feels like a 3.5 overall. Spelling and grammar errors galore once again, I honestly believe the author should fire her proof reader and go somewhere else as it’s something 99% of reviews have picked up on more than once in each of her books.
The smut/spice was hot once again and you always felt like you got lots out of the scenes. There was obviously the added elements this time of Evie being very innocent and also the fact she clearly liked to watch and that Van and Mateo owned a sex club. I hope they go back there and do more.
I thought it was a bit weird with them being brothers and they were just easy going about having sex with the same girl at the same time and being around each other in the group scenes. Maybe it’s not as taboo as other things I have read but this just felt a bit strange that they basically got off on seeing the other get off. That was the main big difference between the last duet and this one
What we get is a very twisted plot of RH between Mafia, bodyguards, and a damsel in distress.
FMC is plus sized with a history of body shaming complex from her ex-boyfriend. MMCs, while dangerous men, are of the touch her and die variety! And we STAN a J/P trope!
You get to see the differing budding relationships and conflicts that come with a polyamorous relationship.
Octubre 2024: Una siempre vuelve a donde fue feliz :D
Mayo 2023: No sé cómo sentirme con el libro en general, pero volvemos a que es mi guilty pleasure.
Y otra cosa, to english writers, if you’re going to put a character who speaks Spanish (in this case and because I’m Spanish) and you’re going to use names in Spanish, please, if they have the letter ñ, put it. I can’t read pequena for the rest of the book. It’s killing me. Buenos días.
I was so happy when I found out the next book in the Abbs Valley series was going to be about Micah and Evander. Let's add in Mateo (Evanders brother), Micah's body guard, Gray, and an Ex Chief of Police, Hartley all falling for Evie. A curvy FMC that has been on the run from her psychotic ex that can't take no for an answer. Mateo was all in for Evie, and he wants what Les has from Riches to Riches. He was determined to get it to happen. They all hid who they were from Evie, thinking it was best for her to see who her ex was. But when it came to wanting to tell her the truth, she found out the hard way. Evie had been body shamed her whole life. Her guys PRAISE her and lift her up when she shames herself. Her ex did a number on her mental and emotional health. Thank goodness this is a complete duet.. that cliffy... UGH! I can't wait to see what happens next!!
1. what the fck just happened with that ENDING?????? 2. miss Evie better chill w that leaving none sense bc i am not having it. 3. i am obsessed w van & micah
alternate point: MIK!!!!— WHAT IN THE SAM HELL GIVES YOU THE RIGHT TO KEEP RECOMMENDING ME BOOKS LIKE THIS THAT GIVE ME ALL THE FEELS. The journey all of these characters go on is just something. 😭🖤

The book was great. Do I love Evie? Not really. But do I was giggling and kicking my feet the whole time? Yes!! The guys are the cutest and the relationship was good.
this book is like trash tv. the quality of these characters is much much lower than the previous duet, but regardless, i’m starting the next book now LOLLL
I love love loved this book. I was looking forward to getting to know Micah, Mateo and Evander more during this duet but I've enjoyed reading about Evie even more. Such a strong character and not in the physical sense. She's so mentally strong even with her insecurities and she's a plus size fmc! I've never read a book with a bigger female lead and I want more. Evie's character has been written so beautifully and I love that I can relate to her. The guys see Evie as the gorgeous women she is!
The chemistry building between this group is so good. The guys are all there for Evie, putting aside everything to protect her. I love the bond building between the guys and Hartley.
Ames has once again sucked me into the Abbs Valley world. I look forward to every future book she writes. I'll be here for them all. She really is Queen of spice. Another great plot with all the steamy times 😋🔥🔥 On to part two for more of Evie, Mateo, Micah, Evander, Gray and Hartley.
If you haven't already then you need to jump into this series, starting with Riches to Riches Part one and two 🖤🖤
I normally don't give too much detail on a lower rating but I feel like I need to warn other fat folks who are excited for a plus size girl in a mafia RH... I honestly want to give this more stars but the fat rep in this book was so wild. I wanted to like Evie but she had no personality besides fatness and it was sad. And then it's revealed she's a size 16 which didn't seem to fit the way she was writing about herself. It made me really apathetic.
Also, I couldn't remember who's chapter it was and had to keep flipping back and forth. And if you're going to use Spanish words... like use the ñ, it drove me wild. I feel like my consensus for this author is that she has great ideas but doesn't take the time for sensitivity readers/thorough editing and proof reading. I'm going to finish this duet bc I want to see what happens, but I think I'll have to step back for a bit.
Yassss!! This book pulled me in right from the beginning! I was so excited to learn more about Micah & Evander, then fell in love with Mateo! And kept falling in love with Gray, Hartley, &Evie! I can’t wait to see how their relationships evolve!
- RH (5 guys / mm) - Evie FMC - Curvy heroine - Mafia / assassins - Side characters from the first duet in the series - Good character development - Less intricate plot than the first couple books
I enjoyed this book but not as much as the first two books in series!
