Excellent.
Based on fact, this is a novel about real people and real events during the spring of 1970 in Southeast Asia. The truth of President Nixon's secret war beyond the borders of South Vietnam is told with lots of detail and intensity.

My desire to read this came out of knowing an individual who was there but he never wanted to talk about what happened. I believe he was deeply affected beyond words. Now after having read this book, I understand why and I love him with all my heart.
