Interesting read

Although this book was hard to read because of the triggers, it did had a lot of useful information. I never personally experienced any of the things in this book when I had my own children but I know women who I can refer to this book.

Very helpful.

After my daughter was born, I was going through a hard time. I even stopped eating due to the amount of stress as a new mom. I came across this book as I was searching for helpful ideas and to better understand what I was going through and why. Between my husband and reading this book has helped me in ways I didn't think was possible. And I only say that because I have bad depression and I knew the PP was going to be challenging. But after reading this gave me a new perspective and a better understanding on things. I really need to give myself some grace and to remind myself it's ok. It's ok that as a new mom things can get overwhelming. I highly recommend this book and I've already suggested it to another friend that was dealing with PP as well.

great read

Nothing quite prepares you for motherhood and the feelings you feel trying to conquer the world and feel like your their for your baby/s. The author does a great job going over the realistic things of new motherhood and how you feel and things that come up. Take a read and know that you are not alone and how you are feeling is valid and how many moms are probably also feeling.

Interesting take

This book is well written and has tons of great information. It makes sure to point out that you need to be healthy so you can take care of the baby but first you need to take care of you. It helps you to understand the emotions and mood swings and helps you to do self care on you. It also has tips for forming a network to help you so you have some me time. I recommend this book to anyone who is feeling blue after having a baby.
