As a cat mother, I love reading books about cats. My cat means the whole world to me and I felt Anya's pain when she was looking and couldn't find Marmalade. My first cat was a ginger cat and reading this story was really touching. I really could relate to Anya searching and searching for something that was lost, because that's what I would always do. The illustrations are nice and the story has good messages about not giving up and the importance of friendship, two of the most important messages to teach your children. I also love the little secret game where you count the cats that appear in the book.
