He’s the silver fox firefighter who descends the ladder and cradles my body to safety. Now he’s started a fire he cannot put out.
I'm an investigative reporter fueled by my desire to expose the arsonist who killed my father years ago. Every firefighter in the department, including Nate, is a suspect. He soon becomes my unexpected ally, helping me to find the culprit.
As we work closely together, I'm consumed by thoughts of him. We just can’t keep our hands off each other. I ache to unveil the molten core hidden beneath his uniform.
After a steamy encounter, he confesses his true feelings for me. I don’t know if I can trust him, or my heart.
I must navigate the twisted journey to a happily-ever-after, or the flames could leave us both in ashes.
A really fun romance with very likable characters that contained just the right amount of suspense. I love this author’s writing style. It was an easy read and had such a great story that I flew through the pages. I’ll definitely read more from this author.
Honestly, this title is so misleading! There’s way more going on than ravishing ;-) Both main characters are stubborn but awesome, the plot is intense, interesting and leading step by step to their happily ever after, BUT there are loads of obstacles that need to be cleared first. … I just wished we learned more about the fate of their firebug … or if he could escape his burning home …
This story is definitely about more than just ravishing. It’s more of a romantic suspense novel. Isabella is trying to find an arsonist that started the fire that may have killed her father. She’s going after the fire department though so nobody wants to listen to her. Nate Ashford is a firefighter at said fire department. Unfortunately she gets caught in a fire and is rescued by Nate. Things are finally looking up for Isabella on having someone else watch her back. I would consider this a novella but it’s definitely got plenty of drama and spice.
This was a very good romance. It’s a page turner that kept me entertained all the way through. Nate and Isabella are great characters with awesome chemistry. I really enjoyed it. *this was a complimentary copy and this is my honest review*
