Couldn't put it down
This is the end and all nine books were very hard to put down the ending was very well write there could be a ten she want to keep the story alive....

I enjoyed the entire series
This is a good story dragged out in nine books. One thing annoyed me about the writing—the CONSTANT mentioning of the coffee, tea, wine, etc grabbing or holding cups/glasses—spilling or almost spilling. Over
And over to the point it becomes obvious. Just filler. But it was distracting.

This is book 9 of the Secrets of Redemption series. I have absolutely loved this series from the moment I picked up the first book. Actually, I think I read the Charlie Kingsley series first. I stumbled upon The Murder Before Christmas on Booksirens and fell in love with that series, then after following the author I started this series. They are set in the same mysterious town, Redemption, Wisconsin.
In this book, Becca is recovering from being attacked at a local farm, Hoffman Farm, where a cult was living. The Church of the Forgotten had kidnapped her friend, Mia and Becca had gone into it to look for her. While there a whole lot of craziness happens, and Becca ends up with a concussion and a hurt ankle. The farm burnt down and those are left of the cult are being held in the town community center. Shortly after this book begins, one of the cult members is found murdered. Becca and Mia are asked to go through some of their statements to see if they see anything that the police missed and sure enough, they do.
All through the book, Becca thinks shes losing her mind. She is sleepwalking, forgetting the simplest things and has some major memory loss when it comes to plans she's made and then forgets. She also keeps seeing a spirit in her kitchen who keeps telling her "a storm is coming". She thinks she recognizes the spirit but can't fully make it out. As she and Mia keep investigating to find out what the cult members know about what happened on the farm, another member is murdered. Meanwhile, Becca's mother shows up out of nowhere and immediately takes over her life. Her mother, who hasn't stepped foot in Redemption in so long Becca can't even remember. Becca starts asking, exactly why is her mother here now? Is she part of the storm that she's been warned about?
I cannot say enough good things about this series. The characters are deep and well written. I love that this also ties into the Charlie Kingsley books. This book though, literally had me in tears in the last chapter and dropped a bombshell that I should have seen coming all along but didn't. The world building this author has done is amazing and I very much look forward to what is next!

OK series
This series started so strong, but the quality steadily diminished, as evidenced by lack of character growth (Becca especially - this was so frustrating) as well as unnecessary narration of repetitive humdrum events. The page space given to excruciatingly detailed descriptions of sharing wine and food, plus Becca making the same mistakes over and over until this last book, we're painful to read. I stopped buying the audiobooks finally after the 4th or 5th book because they just weren't worth an Audible credit. However, I'd invested way too much in this series and had to see what happened and how it ended, so I kept going with the Kindle books.
I truly loved the setting, the lore and mysteries; it seemed as the series progressed that these elements were wasted on these books. This finale book wrapped up MOST things but not all by any means. Just so disappointing. Except the part about CB & Becca being Charlie's twins was a nice plot twist.
It appears that maybe there was pressure on the author to crank these books out too fast.

Well, I almost read this in one sitting. There was just so much going on that I really didn't want to put it down but hey, a girl needs her beauty sleep. Right?
Seriously though. I wholeheartedly agreed with Becca. After everything she'd been through, she deserved for all the drama to be over with. Didn't she? Instead, there was even more, and not just physical.
This final book in the Secrets of Redemption series was an emotional rollercoaster ride for Becca. The worry she was losing her mind; her mixed feelings for Daniel; the sudden appearance of her mother and another ghostly spectre warning her of imminent danger. The worst for her though was the discovery that her entire life had been built on a lie.
Can Becca let go of the past and start afresh, or will she let the past consume her?

This is the Grand finale of the Secrets of Redemption series. I have been totally addicted to this series and have hardly been able to do anything but read it! The first book is called It Began with a Lie - and this last book ends with the revelation of a different lie. Books 1-3 absolutely must be read in order, then 4-5 are more like a prequel, telling what happened to the character Aunt Charlie when she first arrived in Redemption, the books 6-9 pick back up the present day and principal character, Becca's story. Everything revolves around the house that Aunt Charlie left to Becca, and it's history. The last books more about the land the house was built on. There is obsession, romance, dark secrets and friendships as well as betrayal and Becca's ability to recover and move on. I am looking forward to reading other series Michele has planned.

What Wasn’t Forgotten is the ninth book of this series,and it finally ties everything together, plus it answers all of the hanging questions. And there are definitely some shockers. It is an amazing story, full of suspense, mystery, laughter and tears.
There is so much going on that I won’t give you any spoilers. It is too good to ruin the story for you.
You just need to read it for yourself. And if you haven’t read the series yet, do yourself a huge favor and read the Secrets of Redemption. You will thoroughly enjoy it. Thank you Michele for taking us on this amazing journey .

Wow! This book!
I wasn’t sure how this series would conclude. If I’m honest i was worried and prepared for some serious heartbreak. This series has become so special to me and the characters have started to feel like family! I am so sad this series is over but i hope this isn’t the last time we hear from Becca and Daniel! I think this ending was perfect! I do still have lots of questions about what is going on in this small town of redemption I cannot wait to see what else Michele Pariza Wacek has in store for us!!

This whole series was super interesting from the second I picked up the first book but they each follow the same formula. Lots of “beware what’s coming” and speaking in riddles. You know things are going to go sideways when Becca starts having nightmares or her headaches increase. It’s relatively predictable. The story itself though is out there and interesting. Definitely a good read, but not the most remarkable book I’ve ever read.

The last book of the Secrets of Redemption series imo did not complete the series. There are still answers that have not been answered. The main subject that was covered I suspected part of it, just not all. It was kewl to find out what I thought all along was true and the bit about the cult was good. I suggest reading the book to find out those secrets but don't expect the real secrets of Redemption to be revealed.

I'm so sad I finished it already ! I really enjoyed this entire series as well as the Charlie Kinglsey mysteries and all the stand-alones and novellas. I love how all the series tie together. I read them so fast though I'm sad. Lol they were just to good, I wish there were more! I will always reccomend this series !

As much as I wanted to love this book because I loved all eight of the others. I didn’t it was definitely a let down for me. It did not hold my attention and honestly I wanted to DNF it but I thought it would get better it seemed like it was going to but it didn’t. I am super bummed but I will still always love the first 8 they were awesome.

I really enjoyed reading this book and all the ones before it, my only issue is to me the Charlie Kingsley Mysteries, well she’s totally different from the Charlie that is talked about in the The Secret Of Redemption series, to me it just does not fit, just my opinion, but I did enjoy reading all the books, I would definitely recommend reading the series written by this author

Love Michelle's writing!
I've read most of The Redemption series and they were terrific.
Her character development was through. I was reading each book as fast and as often as I could while still doing a few other things.
Highly recommend this series if you like psychological mysteries.

If you love mysteries and thrillers, love stories and suspense…this is the series for you. Absolutely love the twists and turns. The unexpected is going to happen when Redemption is involved.

I loved the first couple books in this series but the last few really just kinda were meh. Too much going on and then everything just got repetitive. I'm glad I read them all because the I did like the ending.... closure!

The series is over (for now) but I feel like it was intentionally left open-ended for more storyline, which is slightly frustrating, given the amount of filler in some of these novels. Overall, I did thoroughly enjoy the story as a whole.

I really enjoyed this series. It did have some annoying parts that you have to muddle through. But I liked the characters and back stories.
