Professional wedding planner Zoey Greenwood is at the peak of her career with a beautiful apartment, the respect of her colleagues, and a promotion on the horizon.
But something is missing.
Robin Lowell has always loved fixing cabinets, gardens, and people.
But when Zoey comes back to town to oversee the renovation of New Winford's crumbling town hall, Robin and Zoey must reckon with their feelings for each other and the reason their friendship ended over a decade prior.
DNF at 53%. The writing is disjointed and incoherent in this book. The scenarios are just unrealistic and ridiculous. Glaring editing errors, misused words, for example the screen door made a creek sound. Really, it sounded like water running over stones? There was a whole scene of Robin getting dressed for a date and she puts on a thong, a whole paragraph dedicated to it. Then later on in the night, she’s wearing boy shorts.
I really loved the plot and the ending and everything was really nice and sweet. I just could not get past how much I hated the main character! And like, people didn’t really like her either most of the time, they respected her or they were mad at her and I was like, I don’t want her to have her happy ending but I want the love interest to have the world and if she wants her world to be the main character then so it must be. My fav character is the main character’s mom, she’s so iconic and knows exactly what she’s doing.

LGBTQ love story✅ Friends to lovers✅ Forced proximity ✅ Unrequited love (ish?) ✅
This was a beautiful story!!! Zoey and Robin stole my heart.
Honestly, I can relate to Zoey in some ways! Leaving your family and everyone you know to move to the city to live a life of your own and grow on your own, and how that decision isn’t always supported—how it’s seen as abandoning your home. But I think it’s important to note that Zoey needed that, and after her priorities changed she made the right decision for herself!
The plot was also very well thought out. You can tell the author knows their SHIT when it comes to the logistics of it and how it all comes together. It makes the story and the characters more believable and realistic.
Zoey and Robins relationship is so sweet, but I appreciate the way they both have strong personalities. I will say sometimes even I got fed up with Robin (again I’m biased towards Zoey), when she’d be like “what are you doing in here?” …in ZOEYS parents house or something. She did it a couple times. But I get it, logically, why she’d be like that. But still.
Sometimes I felt like the characters were unfair to Zoey because of her decision (again, can you tell I can identify with her??😌) but the ending was so satisfying and cute❤️
I am SO hyped for Jamie’s story! We saw a little of their character and I’m excited to see more of them.
Pick this up people!! Let’s support some Lesbian Rep!!!
Zoey is a top end wedding planner for a specialist company. Robin is the (best friend) girl she left behind when she left her small town suddenly, after they kissed unexpectedly. It’s an interesting story, the idea of the book is good, but for me it lacked cohesive writing, and there are so many other books with a very similar plot line. It seems as though this is an almost-ready draft, but not quite there yet. It’s worth reading for a quick read if you can overlook the occasional writing and editing problems.
Oh how I absolutely hated Zoey this entire book, even at the end. Yeah she made the right decision, but her character was awful. Robin deserved better. Claire oozed jealousy and desperation. Aside from that, I loved Sarah. She was an awesome sister who loved both Robin and Zoey and wanted the best for them. Robin was amazing and deserved the world. She held onto hope all those years and even renovated the house she and Zoey dreamed about. It was an overall beautiful story, just wish Robin ended up with someone who chose her like she chose them.

Well, I thought it a bit unfair that an entire family and friend group held a grudge for like a decade because an 18 year old, *gasp*, left home for college and got a job. God forbid a young adult go off into the world to find themselves, experience some independence, and figure out what kinda life they wanna live. The ex gf/bestie was the only one with any grounds to be the least bit salty. If the young generation in family would please, *please* go to college and get jobs that'd be great, thanks.
Home Again was an absolute delight to read. It was a perfect warm and cozy romance filled with beautifully written yearning and incredible character growth amongst the characters. This childhood friends to lovers is sure to hold your attention through the entire story as you're caught rooting for the characters to follow their hearts all the way. This is definitely a book worth reading and I'm so happy to have it on my shelf!
Does she? That first step is always the worst or a newer beginning!
Robin likes to work with her hands and Zoey knew this when they were teens, but scared Zoey left and now she's divorced and still scared, maybe. A house that needed fixing and Robin took up her tools and maybe Zoey has some ideas? You can only wait and hold on for so long. Enjoy!
Zoey and Robin loved each in high school but Zoey had a calling to leave their small home town. Ten years later, they both know they still love each other, but Zoey is successful in NYC and doesn’t want to give up her job. I loved both main characters and couldn’t stop reading until the happy ending. This is a really good love story.
A couple of months ago I read almost this exact story by another author and title! I realize plots and stories are hard to come by, but please, shake the tropes up a bit before publishing.
This story was nice and fast to read but somehow it seemed to lack in complexity. The characters were supposedly upset with each other and yet they weren’t.
Also the grammar was a bit confusing with words missing and tenses jumping around.
Nothing like a small town in upstate new York. The story made me a little homesick, in the best way. The leads were smart, funny and driven. This story shows you how to choose between the dreams in your head and the dreams in your heart
I'm sorry I can't finish this. The writing is just bad. The pov switches randomly in the middle of another pov. Details in the plot are confused consistently.
I liked the plot and wanted to read this but the writing just made me not want to continue.
Same story line with nothing different to stand above the rest. Rushed story and if with a bunch of enablers that allow her just get by with being a crappy to others. There is another book with an the same name and the pretty close to the exact same book.
This was just lovely, with a solid plot, good character development, hot spicy scenes, and an ending that, for a nice change, wasn't so abrupt that I felt cheated.
Wonderfully written! You could really feel the tension between the two main characters throughout the first half of the book… it was obvious Zoey had some internalized homophobia… especially with how she just ran off after kissing Robin back in the day!!
I truly enjoyed this and would love to see a sequel!!
