Linda White does an excellent job of mixing modern-day with fantasy is this low-stakes novel. The story centers around love of family and forgiveness, all while trying to protect new friends. Though there are some grammatical errors and a character name change partly through the story, the overall plot and character development are enjoyable. Someone who is looking for a feel good, family friendly read will enjoy this one!
Reading Raven’s Peak feels like fuzzy socks, preheated electric blankets in winter, and the perfect cup of hot chocolate ( like half marshmallows half whipped cream we shouldn’t have to choose). It’s a cozy heart-warming adventure that’s family friendly! The story follows the Ravens a large family that live together in a castle in the woods. The characters are so well written and their dynamics and dialogue so believable. I loved it. I laughed throughout this book. The storytelling flowed so smoothly that the world building felt effortless. I loved all the fantastical creatures and plant life slipped in. It added to the magic for me. I can’t wait to see what the Ravens get into next!
