My best friend's omega mate has been taken captive by a sadistic cult…and I'm the only one who can save her.

Ever since Aisling came into our lives, she's brought danger and destruction in her wake. She plays us like chess pieces, and I have to admit it turns me on.

I like the danger. I like to be used.

But now she's the one in trouble, and I'll join a cult to get her free.

When I find myself part of a carnal ritual with Aisling at the center, things get steamy in a way I never expected. They worship her as a goddess of rebirth, and I get swept up in that worship.

I'll do whatever she asks…even if she wants to stay.

And I'll pray to her in ways only an alpha can. With my body...my hands.

Her willing sacrifice.

Romeo and Juliet goes dystopian omegaverse in this slow build WhyChoose romance perfect for fans seeking their next ABO obsession.

Things are starting to come to a head. We learn a lot about Aisling’s past and her new pack mate. There’s a lot of set up and learning about this new setting in the beginning. Once things kickoff they really get going. I have really enjoyed this story. My only complaint is, due to the time between books, I feel like there are likely plot points I’m missing or forgetting. Make no mistake I’m enjoying the story and can’t wait for the next one. I just feel like, once they are all out, I’ll sit down and read them all back to back and likely find there’s more to the story that I missed.

I'm probably in the minority but I'm still not a fan of Aisling. I don't fault her or Luka for what happened down in the pit. But what I do fought her for is all the lies, mind games and using. There was nothing Gunnar and Obrien wouldn't do for her or to protect her. But she continued to use them and lie to them. Her trusting Vance and telling him things and not even telling her men really bothers me. And I'm saying this because Gunner I'm sure would have still been angry about what happened with his best friend. But he would have probably gave her the chance to explain what had happened if it wasn't for all her previous deceit. And my heart breaks for him cuz he's such a good man. I feel like he deserves better than her they all do.

Ok, so, we finally learned where Aisling came from and WOW! That is a crazy back story! And her dad! Man, is he crazy or what? Luka ends up having to go undercover to try to find Aisling when she has to go “home”. Then some crazy stuff happens with them. Gunnar, Oberon, Rook and Vance have to come get them when they go “dark”. Gunnar and Vance have drama. The Gunnar has drama with the pack. I mean, it was an INSANE story! So freaking good! I cannot WAIT to read Rook! I need to know what happens in this story!!!

BUCKLE UP!!! This ride just keeps getting crazier! Aisling goes “home”, and oh boy do were find a lot out. Her crazy dad is just the tip of this iceberg. I am so deep into this story. I just can’t with all the chaos this girl brings. Like dayum! But in so onboard for this circus. And the guys, they’ll follow her into the flames if they have to. Everything is really amping up. I can’t wait for more.

Convoluted and Messed Up

Aisling has become a goddess in a gilded cage and Luka, an unlikely rescuer, has infiltrated the cult to come to her aid. Meanwhile, back home in Pacific City, Vance and Gunnar’s familial relationship is unraveling. This book both clarifies and confused the story line, but it did keep things entertaining for me. Looking forward to more of this story in Rook.

West Coast Inkverse Book 4. The author does a great job developing the story and brings it to life with her descriptive scenes. We learn a lot about Aisling’s past and her new pack mate. This book both clarifies and confused the story line. These books are always a great time and fast reads with good characters. A fantastic story in this series. Looking forward to more of this story in Rook.
