We'll Meet Again is book three in the Whistle Stop Café Mysteries fiction series.
When Debbie Albright notices a mysterious man hanging around the Dennison depot the last few days, she can’t help but be curious. The stranger is constantly checking his watch and phone, as if he is waiting for something... or someone. Unable to hold back her curiosity any longer, Debbie decides to finally speak to him. However, he is gone before she gets the chance. Instead, next to the lamppost where he always stood, she finds a yellowed “Dear Jane” letter, with a dateline of 1945 and addressed to Eileen Turner, the long-retired stationmaster. Eileen claims she never heard from her soldier boy after he left for the war. Can Debbie solve this longstanding mystery so Eileen can get answers to her decades of wondering at this twilight time of her life?

I am so glad I found this series. Another book to enjoy and love. There is mystery but not is crime related but people related. There are two in a book with lots of history from WWII for one. While fiction. you know the feelings are true and these things did happen.
As a rule, I'm not generally a fan of Amish fiction, but this one was a really unique mystery of an Amish man who left the Ordnung to serve in WWII. I like how this whole series connected the historical mysteries to the present. Definitely recommend to those looking for clean fiction or mysteries without murder. Light faith element.
I love this entire series! The romance sparks in We'll Meet Again. And the stakes rise in Dennison, Ohio. If you love Nancy Drew and anything cozy mystery related, We'll Meet Again hits the spot. Plus, the amish forbidden love kept me on my toes!
We'll Meet Again is a good name for book three in the Whistle Stop Cafe mysteries series. The next line in the song is I don't know where, I don't know when. There is a mysterious man hanging around the depot and Debbie decides to speak to him. However he's gone and leaves a letter by the lamp post. It is a Dear Jane letter addressed to Eileen. She was the station master during the war and fell in love but after the war he never returned and she didn't know what happened to him. Debbie tracks down the story so Eileen can have closure. Jenelle Howard is the author of this story at Dennison's WWII train depot
I'll read anything from Jenelle! Although I'm more used to her dramatic biblical fiction novels with Guideposts, I felt transported to another time and place with the Whistle Stop Cafe crew, Debbie and Janet. The mystery was sweet and gentle (a time split). I loved the Amish twist. And the baking. Don't get me started on the baking!
