Warning this book contains gratuitous violence, gore, sexual content and adult language that may not be suited for all audiences.
This novel successfully manages to merge romance with a plot containing action and intrigue, even if none of it is done to the highest degree of excellence. What holds the book back, however, are the numerous incorrect spellings and use of non-words like ‘derpy.’ Even with being able to understand what’s being said, it takes one out of the narrative. Still, if you’re looking for furry werewolf action, you came to the right place.
What I enjoyed the most about both Clay Wersal's books is the depth of characters and their development, his style of narration and method of worldbuilding. The fictional world is intriguing, the story action packed and as is the case with many authors from the Furry community, Clay Wersal offers a unique spin on the gay werewolf romance genre. The only point of criticism I can think of are the typos and grammatical errors. They didn't bother me personally as I started to ignore them after a while but I understand they could be a turnoff for some. Looking forward to part 2!
