"Grab me a shot of whiskey. These books are about tattooed men and guns!"

Welcome to the world of LC Taylor. An International and USA Today best-selling author, who's an unapologetic down-home southern gal, with a bit of a dirty mouth. But... she's never met a brooding hero she didn't love. She writes her men cut, tattooed and tender, for their down, but-not-out ladies, who just need a little love from the right man. When she's not writing her Crossroads Heroes series or indulging her darker desires as her alter ego Dori P, she curls up with a glass of peach crown and her very own sexy tattooed cop on the couch watching reruns of Chicago Fire.

Great book!

This was such a great book. Felicity came so far in her journey throughout this book. I absolutely loved Liam and how hard he fought for Felicity. This was a great read and I highly recommend this book.

(audiobook) Another tough subject for this series. This time, the story deals with abusive relationships.

Felicity left her hometown and her boyfriend for college ten years ago. She’s back, and her new boyfriend came along. And he doesn’t want to leave. No matter how many times she tells him to. When he shows her who’s the boss, will her ex, working on the force, be able to save her?

There was again a bit too much manicheism for my taste. Between the devoted ex who doesn’t ask for anything from Felicity, and the bastard who bosses her around, the contrast is pretty clear, even blinding. They both are stereotypes more than characters. As for Felicity, she soon becomes a side character of her own story.

But the subject is treated with respect, though in a very explicit way. But it’s understandable, as the reader must feel the horror of Felicity’s situation. The aftermath went a bit too fast though. Even with ellipses, I thought she recovered quickly.

As for the narrator, he annoyed me even more than in the first book. And there are obvious mistakes in the recording that have been kept in the final editing. I’ll probably read more of the series, but not as audiobooks.

This is the second book of the Signal Series that I have listened to, and I am loving it. The books are short, but LC Taylor has them full of action, romance and suspense! This one features Felicity and Liam. They were high school sweethearts but Felicity broke it off when she went to college. Now years later, she is in an abusive relationship when Liam's team gets the call. Will he be able to save the one woman he has ever loved? Short, to the point and written just the way I love a book, LC Taylor gives us all the feels in this one. Abuse is a tough subject and she doesn't gloss over it. Liam is your typical alpha, the ones we love, and is fiercely protective and Felicity is incredibly strong with what she goes through. Add in a dad that is full of good advice and this book is a winner.

Narrated by Nicholas Middlekauff, the story comes to life with great voices and incredible emotion. He portrays the characters perfectly, from the abusive boyfriend to the emotional Felicity. It's my first listen by him, and I will definitely be watching for more.

Wow! While I loved this it is a bit dark and does have some violent scenes. So if that affects you don’t read this. Otherwise we follow the terrible relationship of Felicity. Liam is her HS love but she knows she doesn’t deserve him. Especially now. She deserves everything Jaxon gives her. Liam has other ideas especially once he see her again. When tragedy happens will she be able to ever accept Liam or love again?

I listened to this on audio. Nicholas Middlekauf is the narrator. He did outstanding. This is my second book in this series and by this author. I enjoyed this even though it has darker scenes in it. While devastating to live through the outcome of this situation is positive. I love the covers on these books!

There may be some trigger moments in this book for some. This book was beautifully written even though there were some intense scenes. The author takes the reader through a series of emotions throughout the book. Felicity left Liam and her hometown behind in order to find herself. In the end, she ended up back in her hometown in her childhood home, and eventually finds herself and what she was looking for the whole time. I love Liam's character and the patience he has with Felicity. Great book. Please be mindful of the fact that there may be trigger warnings for some.

Ultimate love

Liam and Felicity....... Young lovers who fell apart meet years later, but there is danger and evil in Felicity's life that may deprive them of a second chance. A violent act leaves fallout that will take love, patience, understanding and time before they can find a HEA.

Great well-developed characters with awesome chemistry. This is very well-written story with a male character who knows what he wants and fights for it. Really loved.

Oh Wow simply wow this is very difficult an emotional driven book to read and some may be turned off by topics like domestic violence.
Felicity's story is just a small glance at what many people suffer every day.
But were there is help there's is always hope.
