Wildfire
Reilly Kissinger has been told by her stepfather that she must marry, but when she refuses to marry his choice, she is beaten and locked in her room. She escapes in the night on her horse, Wildfire, riding until morning, where she finds a barn to rest.
Taylor Whittaker, a half-breed horse rancher is in his barn when Chuck, his half-brother, enters, threatening to kill him. It’s up to Reilly to save Taylor’s life, which she does by accidently killing Chuck.
Can Taylor forgive Reilly for killing his brother? Will he ask her to be his wife, while protecting her from her stepfather’s evil plans? Can Reilly accept the fact that Taylor has Indian blood running through his veins and accept his marriage proposal? Will they be able to make a go of the horse ranch and happily live the rest of their lives as man and wife?
