A Nashville Spicy Christmas is book six in the Nashville Spicy series by Casey Morales. As I previously read through this series, I fell in love with each and every one of these couples. This book was a wonderful reunion of this found family over Christmas and New Years.

When Cooper Hawk lost his beloved Grandmother, he inherited a very large amount of money. And what Cooper wanted was to bring together the friends he now thinks of as family over the holidays. Careers have put miles between some of these couples but their love for one another hasn’t waned. I adored seeing how far all of these couples have come. I felt their love for each other coming off the pages, each couple continuing to fall more deeply in love with each other. Cooper pulled out all the stops with this trip, planning every detail to make their time together unforgettable. There were some sad moments, some hilarious moments, of course some spicy moments, and plenty of joyful moments that only a child at Christmas can provide.

“This was a family in every sense of the word that mattered.”

We also met a new character, Steph, that I fell in love with. He was the only “uncoupled” man on the trip but I’m hoping that is only temporary and that he might get his own love of his life sometime soon.

This was such a wonderful way to spend time with these characters again! I feel like I know them all so well. It was a trip of a lifetime for them all and I feel like I was right there with them. To really enjoy this book, you really need to have read the series and gotten to know these men in their own books. So if you haven’t yet, grab book one and settle in for some fun.

Well, Casey knocked it out of the park with this holiday vacation for all of the Nashville family. I absolutely loved that we got the entire Nashville family.
David and Joe from Winning His Vote
Sam and Miguel from Wrenched
Ty and Gabe from I Hear You
Cooper and Nate from The Batter's Box
Andre, Nick, and Ethan (son) from Buckeye
Plus the wonderful Annie and the addition of Steph.

Cooper really knows how to make a holiday vacation filled with love and memories for his entire group. This story definitely made me cry happy and sad tears. So make sure you get comfortable and have some kleenex ready to go. But it's filled with so much love, friendship, acceptance, and of course, all the spice. For me, one of the parts I enjoyed the most was getting bits of the story for everyone. It is multiple POV from each couple, but Casey does a great job of making sure you know exactly who is telling the story. I absolutely loved the new characters that we met and are adopted by this family.
Being able to see them all together makes my heart so happy because I have become very attached to them all. Each book in this series just builds and makes you fall even more in love with their abilities to love and support each other. I laughed so much during this book because of Cooper and his word vomit. But also because this group knows how to have fun and make the most of their time together. I can't wait to see what is next for this family.

What a joy to spend the holiday with the gang. Cooper decides to take the gang on a cruise with the inheritance he received from his mom. With new additions to the crew there was laughter & plenty of hotness. I was offered a free copy through Story Origin & am volunteering my honest opinion.

Oh, my goodness! I will preface this review by saying, please have a tall glass of something very cold beside you or expect a cold shower from the very beginning! Let's just say that our guys are still going strong behind closed doors LOL. Cooper and Nate host a fully paid cruise getaway for their friends to celebrate the holidays. This cruise brings together all of the friends, including little Ethan and Annie, to have a jolly time on the high seas and they do have tons of fun! We also meet a new friend that is promptly adopted by mom, dad and the entire gang. Steph is a fellow Mango and friend of Nate and Coop originally. We will get his story soon I hope as it is going to be just as fun as the rest. Cooper is the best and is still exploding words everywhere and it is adorable. Annie is in top form on this cruise and scares Steph to no end and it is hilarious. There is so much love, adventure and reaffirmation of each strong relationship that you will cry, say, "Aww, that is so sweet" and LOL so much, people will look at you funny when you read this. I love that Casey brought these guys back together again so that we can catch up with what is happening in their lives (yes, I am aware they are not real!) a bit down the road from the end of Buckeye. To also include Ethan, Annie, Joe and David was just icing because they each bring something special to the book.

A Nashville Spicy Christmas by Casey Morales is the sixth book in the Nashville Spicy series. It brings sizzling holiday fun as Cooper and Nate organize a cruise for their friends promising a holiday voyage unlike any other. This reunion gathers the beloved friends (also Ethan and Annie), for jolly adventure at sea.

Morales skilfully weaves a tapestry of humour, warmth, and surprises, strengthening the bond between characters. We are introduced to Steph, a new friend, promising more engaging stories ahead. Casey expertly navigates love, adventure, and solidifies strong relationships delivering moments that’ll make you laugh, swoon, and in my case, shed more than a tear.

The story surges with Cooper’s lovable word chaos and Annie’s hilarious antics, portraying a group that’s not merely friends but a lively, loving, and boisterous family, making this a captivating read. Morales intricately captures the essence of each character, from the wise-beyond-his-years Ethan to the uniquely charming Cooper.

Amidst hysterical laughter, heartfelt moments, and unexpected twists, Casey crafts a narrative that elicits emotions from giggles to heartwarming sighs. The narrative’s emotional depth and the characters endearing qualities make it an engaging standalone read, although delving into prior Nashville Spicy books enriches the overall experience.

A Nashville Spicy Christmas guarantees a holiday treat, blending laughter, romance, and a touch of spice, inviting readers into a world with festive narrative filled with lovable characters that’ll warm your heart and keep you entertained this holiday season.

I received an ARC from the author for free, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review and recommendation.

This book is a 5+ read.

What a fabulous, fun, funny, amazing (I could go on) holiday read. I loved revisiting the gang.

They all missed one another and wanted to get together, so Coop made it happen. He planned everything and went above and beyond with his Christmas vacation plans.  His grandmother would have been so proud.

I loved seeing Coop still has word vomit, and all the others were just as crazy as ever. This group is not just friends. They are a huge, loving, and crazy family.

Steph and Jack were such a nice addition. Oh, and let's not forget Ethan. He is a 9 year old spitfire. Omg Annie! She killed me! One of her best lines is "professional snake handler" 🤣. I choked, laughing.

No spoiler, although, at first, I wondered why Casey did what he did to us in chapter 11. However, after finishing, I now understand.

Throughout this whole book, you will laugh so hard you might just pee a little. Oh, and the ending, have a tissue ready. It is just amazing.

If this is your first Nashville Spicy book, you could definitely read this as a standalone. However, when you're done I strongly suggest you go and read the previous books. They are so worth reading.

It's a Christmas celebration for this found family. a reunion of sorts. Nate and Cooper want to go to Nashville to visit Sam and Miguel. Instead the whole family and friends decide to go on a cruise that Cooper springs for. Of course, Casey has to right away make me cry over an event many of us have shared but there is flirtation, sexy times and family moments sprinkled with humor and ribbing. And then again, here comes another round of tissues as he slips in and out of emotional moments. There are surprises after surprises interspersed with more tears but it is wonderful to enjoy this family again with more expansion in the future, You feel like you, too, are part of their family. I love these guys! I received a copy of this book and this is my voluntary opinion.

3.5 stars. It was lovely to get updates on all the couples from the series and I liked how they were brought together as one family. I felt sometimes that there was more detail about all the various meals than the characters which was weird. What happened to Domino was really sad. I liked Annie less here as she went too far at times (for me).
I received a complimentary copy of this book and am happy to leave a voluntary review.

A Nashville Spicey Christmas by Casey Morales is the 6th book in his Nashville Spicey series. It is a wonderful story that includes all the characters in the previous books and brings us up to date on what is happening in their lives as they discover that they are truly a found family. Because of this I would recommend that you read the other stories first. Many of the characters played minor league baseball in Nashville which is how they met. Then some moved on to play for the Memphis Mangoes and another went to the major leagues and moved away. All of them found their loves whether they be partners or husbands and are very happy. Cooper Hawk was left more money than he could ever spend when his grandmother died. He was also lost and Sam and Miguel took him in and became his “Mom and Dad”. He also found his partner in Nate who played for the Mangoes but stayed close to all of his friends. It was almost Christmas when he had the idea to get everyone together and go on a Mediterranean cruise over the holidays. Everyone was intrigued with the idea and couldn’t wait to go. They were in for a huge surprise when they found out that Cooper and paid for everything and it was beyond 1st class from the airplane ride to their boat accommodations and all the over the top activities that he planned for them. Unfortunately Gabe and Tyler had a something that caused them to miss the cruise but they gave everyone a surprise later in the trip. Congressman David Reese helped Cooper smooth the way for everyone and his husband Joe also joined them for the end of the cruise. Andre Martin, his husband Nick Dunlop, a major league player, and their adopted son Ethan also added to all the fun on board as well as on the stops. Then there was Annie, a septuagenarian Broadway performer, and Steph Breeden, a Mango friend, who also rounded out the gang. There was so much wonder as each day of the cruise surpassed the one before it, as well as lots of snarky banter and teasing as time went on. There were times I was laughing out loud, as well as poignant moments as each couple realized how far they had come and that they had truly become a family. And of course, each had several hot love scenes. I really enjoyed this book. All of the characters’ previous love stories led them to this point and their love shone through in everything they did. Cooper was so generous and added more when the real reason for the trip came to light. Ethan was such a wonderful boy and his excitement shone through in many of the scenes, especially on Christmas morning when all the presents under the tree were for him. I especially liked how funny Sam and Miguel were as the “patriarchs” of the family and how they tried to keep everyone in line, although not always being successful at it. I am hoping Steph will get his own book as there were tantalizing teases about him meeting up with their flight attendant. And I was enthralled with all the descriptions of the places they visited on the cruise. I highly recommend this book, especially if you have read the others first. There is nothing like a story with characters that belong together and forge a true family. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could.

A Nashville Spicy Christmas certainly lives up to its name! One chapter in and Casey Morales was already bringing serious heat.
I loved that this is a book version of a reunion special- a warm hug bringing all your favorites back and seeing what they’ve been up to. The book starts with a helpful cast of characters and a hilarious note from Cooper, the man who sets the story in motion.
Newly flush Cooper brings everyone together for a Christmas cruise. (Note to self: Read his and Nate’s origin story ASAP.) Each couple was thriving and happy - which was a joy to read.
What I loved:
🌶There is so much love and emotion in this beautiful book. There are elements of a romcom, coupled with some bittersweet moments.
🌶The bonds of friendship that tie this delightful found family together is everything. Easily slipping back into the cadences of the past, no matter how many miles now separate them, rang so true.
🌶How Casey writes such vivid, unique characters that you fall in love with and want only the best for.
🌶Established couples who are still so in love and ridiculously attracted to each other. 🔥🔥🔥
🌶Andre, Nick, and their adopted son Ethan (from Buckeye) have a special place in my heart, and it made me so happy to see their life now.
🌶A cruise is filled with humor, love, and gorgeous destinations.
🌶The hint of Steph’s own HEA.
🌶That epilogue!
I haven’t read all of the books in the series, but adored Buckeye. I asked Casey if that would be a problem. He graciously replied I would have better context, but this book can be read as a stand-alone, and he wrote it with that in mind. Now that I’ve finished this book, I want to go back and start the series from the beginning. It’s that good.
A great addition for your Christmas TBR. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

It's a pleasure to meet up again with all the characters we've come to know in previous books in the series, and to see them all reunited for a lovely, spicy Christmas tale.

Be prepared! This book starts with two very, very hot chapters! I think our heroes are also happy to see us again after so long! :)

And as a bonus, a new character whose story we hope to hear in a future volume!

Lots of love, humor and smiles in this book, but also tears and not just tears of joy (which should be forbidden in a Christmas story in my opinion... no thanks for that Casey ;))

A great read, in a festive and funny atmosphere... And We'd all like to have a friend like Cooper to bring the magic of Christmas to life.

----

This is book #6 in Casey's Nashville Spicy series. Some of the couples have now scattered (Joe & Dave are in DC, Cooper & Nate in Memphis, and Nick & Andre are in Cleveland). When Cooper's Grandmother passes away Cooper inherits $78M in cash plus investments. He and Nate organize a 12-day Mediterranean reunion cruise over Christmas & New Years, paid for out of Granny's pile of cash. Almost all the couples go. Joe & Dave have political commitments, and Ty & Gabe lose their dog just before takeoff (see book cover), so those four initially stay behind. But we do get Nick & Andre's son Ethan going, and Nate's team mate from the Memphis Mangoes Steph joins them also as a single, and of course Annie comes along as well.

Cooper has everything organized to the max, and it's fun to see everybody back together in one book. There are smiles. There are tears. There is spice. There is a new connection. There's an engagement. There's a wedding. And because Casey loves to surprise us, we do get Ty, Gabe, Joe, and Dave after all.

If you haven't read the initial books in the series, this one might not have much meaning. Casey has them all in one set now so you get all 5 books for one credit on Audible. It was great to re-visit this family of great guys doing great things. Reading it over Christmas week made it extra special. And we find out after the Epilogue that Steph is going to have his own book as well - that will be the final installment in the series.

Nashville Spicy Christmas (Nashville Spicy 6)
BY Casey Morales
Published by the author, 2023
4 stars

This is a smorgasbord of holiday romantic recaps. All the guys (and one great old lady) we’ve met along the way in this Nashville Spicy series get together for Christmas—because they don’t all live in the same place, and realize that they just miss each other.

The central plot twist of this story is a surprise, so I can’t really tell you about it (because it’s fun and outrageous and probably unlike anything you’ve ever experienced personally); but in it we witness a clan gathering of a chosen family that didn’t fully realize how much of a family it had become. This is the moment of creation of a lifetime of memories. This is a long, long way from “The Boys in the Band” (which I saw when I was 15).

There are a couple of new additions to the cast of characters, and one sad loss. We get to revisit all the men we fell in love with in their individual stories, and we are able to enjoy seeing the bigger picture of how they all are connected by their overlapping stories.

There’s a lot of schmaltzy emotion, so be forewarned. I do have a particular favorite couple, but I won’t bias things with my personal favorites. I think that’s the joy of this big messy holiday adventure.

You do need to read these books before reading this one, or it won’t mean much. There is one more book in the series—and I can’t imagine what that’s going to be about!

I'm taking credit for this!

I wrote the following at the end of my review of Buckeye:-

I would love it, when the series is finished, if Casey wrote us a bonus novella so we can catch up with all the couples who, so far, run in the same circles (and maybe he'll even give us a sighting of the elusive Joe and his beau, David, who I loved from Winning His Vote). Please?

Casey didn't give us a novella, he gave us a cornucopia of love and laughter, family and fun. You're all very welcome!
Seriously though, this was a real gift from Casey to all fans of the Nashville Spicy series. The couples he created and made into a family, all together for a fabulous holiday was just perfect.
The love and laughter flowed throughout. Love for their partners, love for their friends, love for young Ethan, love for young at heart Annie, love for a new member of the family adopted on this cruise. Laughter at being happy together. Laughter with each other and at each other.
Cooper did his family proud and made his family proud, and his beloved grandmother would have been even more proud of him than she always had been.
I laughed along with them all, I teared up along with them all, I never wanted it to end.

Captivating, unified combination of short stories
Tags: riveting, easy to read, eloquent and witty writing, charming, entertaining, steamy, stand-alone, no cliffhangers.
The novel combines short, entertaining, heartwarming stories masterfully put together into an engaging and unified storyline. It gives a perfect and satisfying closure for the couples introduced in previous books on Nashville Spicy series, yet you can still read it as a stand-alone. The unmistakable C. Morales's writing style shines throughout the book, giving a witty, humorous, masterful, eloquent, and vivid insight into characters' minds and thought processes that keep you engaged throughout all the pages. The characters are well described, and their stories are given enough context for readers to follow the narrative even without reading previous books.
The book is perfect for fans of feel-good, charming, uplifting, easy-to-read, engaging, and entertaining romance that leaves you all cozy and warm inside.
However, readers enjoying dark, overbearing stories full of suspense, angst, mystery, and complex issues might want to opt out of reading this book.
Disclaimer: I received an ARC of this book. This review is an independent and genuine reflection of my thoughts.

This is a sugar plum of a book for Casey Morales' fans. All the characters from his "Nashville Spicy" series are brought together for a holiday cruise by one of them, Cooper, who has inherited an obscene amount of money and wants to spend it on the people he loves.
The only problem with the book is that, like Cooper, it rambles a bit. There is romance and plenty of sweet and passionate times, but it is not the traditional trajectory of boy-meets-boy, and they fall in love. These established couples are still very much in love and devoted to one another, which is lovely to read. So often, the story stops when they move in together or get married, but we all know that isn't life.
The money spent is also extravagant, and one needs to accept and enjoy it, as the characters do. It spoils all the fun if we start worrying about the carbon footprint. It's just a story, no matter how much we love these fictional boys.
You will enjoy this more if you have read the earlier books, but it is not absolutely necessary. Cooper gives us a long-winded intro to the characters.

Book number 5 - but of course, for me - book number one. Casey is a new author for me and boy - have I found the biggest gold nugget in MM authors. This story grabbed me by the shoulders (hair sounded a bit too brutal) and dragged me into a group of the most amazing characters I've ever met. Ethan - nine years old. A little pocket rocket. This boy is going to give his dads some hair-raising times. A wise little man who is so loveable. Cooper - well, this character had me falling off my lounge laughing. What an amazing character - unique in a really special way. The other characters, Miguel, Nate, Ty, Gabe, Sam, Andre, Steph, and of course Annie. All special and with the worst senses of humor. None of these guys is going to get any peace while the others are around. But what the heck - without each other individually and as a group they are nothing. As a combined group they are a force to be reckoned with. I think Steph's new crush, Jack is going to fit right in.
I highly recommend this story and this author.

I loved this book, and the blurb says so much about it. All these characters get together for a special two weeks over Christmas and New Years, organized and funded by Cooper. There is so much love in this book, laughter and smiles somewhere in almost every chapter, there are sad times and a few tears, but such a sense of this group of men (and Annie and Ethan) creating this found family with so much love and support, it warms the heart. Stephan becomes a new member, “adopted” by Sam and Miguel (mom and dad), and approved by Annie and the rest of the guys. There are surprises for everyone, orchestrated by a confident Cooper, received with gratitude and joy by his friends. It sounds like there is the possibility of another book about Steph, (but that is just my feeling), but if not, this is a wonderful “ wrap” for this group of loving couples. A really feel good read, especially for the holiday season. Would give more stars if I could.

I received an advance copy of this book and this is my voluntary review.

The entire book had so many great parts. You find yourself laughing along with all of them. Coop, his word vomiting is so real. You can actually picture him while he’s doing it.

It was great they all were able to get together for a wonderful Christmas family reunion, because that is how I see all of them (family). You have so much love and bantering going on not only between the couples but them as such good friends and family.

Coop was off the hook with that cruise. For a person that likes to vomit words, he sure did know how to plan/organize everything along with keeping secrets. There were times I had to read some passages twice because they were so profound and possibly crying.
Over all I found this book full of love, lots of laughs, and a great story of found family.

I want that cruise.

Casy Morales is here to set your reading list on fire with 'A Nashville Spicy Christmas.'
The Nashville Spicy crew, armed with more spice than your grandma's secret gingerbread recipe, embarks on a yuletide adventure. Cooper Hawk, now rolling in dough, treats the gang to a vacation so fabulous it'll make Santa jealous.
Ho, ho, holy moly! 'A Nashville Spicy Christmas' is hotter than chestnuts roasting on a rocket engine, with enough romance to make even the Grinch's heart grow three sizes. So, grab your eggnog, settle into your comfiest chair, and get ready for a holiday romance that'll leave you with a smile as big as Santa's belly. Warning: May cause uncontrollable laughter, heartwarming moments, and a sudden craving for spicy gingerbread cookies.

This was incredible. Like reconnecting with old friends and catching up on their lives and sharing the ups and downs and the daily sorrows and joys of each other's lives.

A beautiful way to show us that family is much more than the blood that can unite us, and that the family we choose is the family that lasts forever.

And my beautiful Cooper in the center of all the action, planning, organizing, and always being so generous, direct and honest. I love all the MCs in this series, but Cooper and Gabe are my weakness. And horny... (ahem..)

Thank you for giving us this incredible journey with all these wonderful characters.

Great roundup of the Nashville Spicy gang. Loved the madcap, and the emotional, and Coop being his best Coop self - lots of fun, lots of love, and some tears, and I'm all agog for Steph and Jack's story!

My brain did have some trouble keeping up with the large cast of characters in this story, and I thought it could have done with a healthy dose of proofreading. If I weren't a nitpicker over misspellings and other unintended bloopers, (and if I were better at keeping the characters straight in my head- not straight as in not-gay, just... you know, corralling the who's doing what, when, and with whom), this would rate all the stars. ..and really, it's more about the errors kind of outweighing the hits, for me, so if words and grammar aren't your jam, this is a complete win.

If I wasn’t already absolutely madly in love with Morales character Cooper from Batters Box I would be after reading this Christmas novel. Cooper bring the entire Nashville Spicy family together for a holiday they won’t forget. In true Morales fashion you’ll laugh, you’ll cry and you’ll sob for you (while also being super mad at him, because how dare he do that to that poor baby) but he always makes all the highs and lows worth it with the best HEAs you’ll ever read. So if you love the Nashville Spicy family as much as I do, then you’ll love this whole family adventure. Just don’t forget to pack your tissues before boarding, you’ll need them.

A really amusing and charming romance novel... just in time for the season!! The characters are so authentic and everything that happens in the book happens because of the guys' dedication to each of their partners - and the shear joy of finding someone permanent who you love with all of your heart. Our gang of guys in past books getting together on a cruise is the perfect setting to prove that love does indeed last, if we want it to.

A very fun and entertaining novel, but chock-full of deep emotions that had me laughing and crying at the same time. 5 stars!!

I received an ARC of this book.

Casey Morales is a very good author and it shows in this book. It brought tears and laughter and was well written. The downside for me was that although it is a standalone book, there were so many characters that it was hard for me to keep track of who was who. In general, I don't do well when there are too many characters in a book. Personally I would have liked it better if I'd read the other stories in the series first so I got to know the characters better. Nonetheless, I appreciated reading about their adventure even if I couldn't keep track of who was who.

I laughed and cried while reading this book. All those stories of the different couples. Their own lives and loves. The cruise, the adventures and the celebration of the new year. Wonderful to see them all here again. I really, really enjoyed this book. A little gem I might say. And believe me, I really don't have any favorite couples, well actually I do, but I think they are all beautiful. From single to friends, family and children, the circle has come full circle for some couples, but their lives together are only just getting started. And believe me, I will definitely read these books again. All I can say is Casey Morales has done it again.

I’ve become very attached to these characters over the series so getting to check in with them for the holidays is a treat. The cruise was a fun way to get the whole crew together and I loved visiting all the beautiful destinations. Casey’s characters are so full of personality and charm and the writing has such a wonderful sense of humor, his books are a joy to read. I especially loved seeing more of Andre, Nick, and son Ethan; all the couples are strong but they are my favorite. And, Cooper is still an absolute delight of a human, his story with Nate was also a highlight I loved seeing them have a beautiful that ending. I like Annie, she is fun and an excellent character but I could have done without the constant teasing of Steph, which felt a bit uncomfortable. Steph was a great addition to the Nashville Spicy family, I hope he gets his happy ending, he definitely deserves it. It was lovely to see all the couples thriving and happy.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Wonderful to see our Cooper shine. What starts as getting together for a short cruise, snowballs into a ten-day Mediterranean cruise. Cooper, worried about the costs for some of the family, decides to treat everyone to the most extravagant event possible. From the over-the-top flight to Barcelona to the Game of Thrones tour in Dubrovnik, the book is a delight. I had forgotten how Cooper can ramble, he thinks out loud and it's hilarious. Casey, you have a lot to make up for in you know which chapter.
