Dream check. Being loved by three amazing check. Life in Bremloc has been incredible for Evan. I mean, if you forget about the whole being "Evan-napped by a mysterious but gorgeous thief with dark magic" thing. Oh, and how that annoying magician Lupin popped up to reveal a massive secret and then vanished again like the jerk he is. But still. Life is great. When Evan gets the opportunity to travel to another city in the hopes of opening a second cafe, he thinks life can't get any better. There's just a few minor... inconveniences. Like being in the demon lord's debt. And tension rising with a warring kingdom. Oh, and the truth about his true identity. Love can conquer all, though, right?
*This is Book 3 in the series and must be read in order.*
As an avid reader and coffee addict, Jaclyn Osborn can always be found with either a book in her hand or one being written on her laptop. The men in her stories mean the world to her, and she's thankful for each day she's able to do this as a career. She writes M/M romance across all genres and worlds, including contemporary, historical, fantasy, and paranormal.
Aww... I love being back with Evan and his men. I love seeing his captain, physician, wolf, and thief interact while protecting and loving Evan. They all are so different but offer something unique and special. The growing bonds and love between Maddox, Briar, and Lake are also wonderful to see the depth and sincerity between the three as they love and protect Evan.
This series has such heart while offering great moments of levity and hilarity. I enjoyed getting more answers to Evan's backstory while leaving so many unanswered questions at the same time. Evan's harem is growing and I loved getting more interactions between the new members.
It was fun getting more of Rowan, he is the most mysterious of Evan's suitors while offering something unique of his own. I was particularly impressed with Callum's growing presence in Evan's life. He has been a reliable knight and support system since the beginning, but his role is expanded and gives many insights into his feelings, which I cannot wait to see explored further.
Overall this is another wonderful addition to the series. This series is total comfort food and could not have come at a better time. I love this series and cannot wait for the next one!!!
I want to live with Evan and his men forever. In this book we get more of my fav rogue, the elusive thief Rowan. Not that Maddox Briar and Lake are happy, but whatever Evan wants, he gets. And Rowan is a morally grey baby who needs love even if he doesn't know what to do with his feelings. We also travel away from Bremloc to where Mum Cynthia lived and we get to learn more about it. This is pure cosy cottagecore romantasy and I just love it so much. The positive feelings and emotions just made my week. Also, what is going in with cinnamon roll Cal? And could Ban be cuter? I can't wait for the next fix, I mean, book.
this series is so damn fun. and i love debriefing with martina afterwards and discussing our theories. i wish jaclyn would release a new book of this series daily and never stop
Fantastic series 😍 humor, fantasy, mm+, exciting storyline, lovely characters, what’s not to love? 🥰 amazing book, can’t wait for the next one 🥳😍 Btw.. Rowan and the spiced nuts… 😭 poor baby, my heart 😭
Oh Evan!! I love our little muffin lord so very much! I didn’t get a chance to read this story yet so as soon as I found out the audio was released I started it the next day! This series is absolutely wonderful when you’re looking for a funny, easy, steamy read!
We got to see more of Lake and Rowan in this story and I was so happy about that. I love Rowan so much. Especially with how grumpy he is on the outside but sweet on the inside! I was not prepared for the story to end. I definitely recommend this story if you enjoy reverse harems, funny characters, fantasy and a series that follows the same characters!
I want boyfriends and I want my boyfriends to get along with each other!! I wished this has like 600 pages there isn't enough time to spend with them I love all of their personality and individuality I honestly can't wait for the next... Evan has chemistry with literally every men he met in this book you'll never know which one of them will get snatched into his harem, that title might came true after all.
Also I love Lupin he's the most reliable system in isekai book ever.
I was a woman possessed. I spent about 80 percent of my time talking about the Muffin Lord. And the other 20 percent of the time, I was praying for someone else to bring him up so I could talk about him more.
LISTEN. I HAVE FALLEN FOR EVAN. I WANT TO BE ONE OF HIS MILLION BOYFRIENDS. 🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀
I'm invested in all these men. I love them I want more of them. I also need a diagram on how all these cuddling is working.
Character descriptions does get a little repetitive. I know Evan has 4 men in this book but how many times do I need to read "He pulled his hair up in a golden cuff" to understand we are talking about Rowan?
Pleasantly surprised by the story a lot more heart than I was expecting. Lupin's vision of the bad future got me a little emotional. Excited to see who the rest of these men are. I started the 4th book before I even wrote this review because I AM HUNGRY FOR MUFFINS.
I'm already fan casting them as Sailor Moon characters. Evan is obvs Sailor Moon.
4.5/5. I just love this so much, okay? It’s immaculate in both vibes and energy and I’m so invested it’s not even funny. I’m going to riot over Ban, I can feel it in my fucking essence.
Still obsessed with this series and if you need a complaint, my only one is the lack of Kuya material in this book. He is the cutest thing since the dawn of existence.
I liked that we finally got to the more of Rowan - who is becoming my favorite of Evan’s men, and learn about Evan’s parents. In line with my review of book 2, Maddox is getting the least likeable of Evan’s men. I don’t like how he treats Evan as someone too stupid to be his equal. The scene with Isabel, for example, could have been avoided if he simply had told him who she was instead of letting her imply they had something together. He didn’t even realize how it hurt Evan until he noticed he was quiet and walking away to explain. It shouldn’t have to happen. The second Isabel flirty said she would take his payment whatever way, he should have cut her off and told Evan right there. He says he loves Evan and can’t live without him, but his ultramacho possessive behaviour is tiring.
35%: Why are you protecting him?” Maddox roared. “Have you forgotten what he did to you? You met with him, and you’re not even wearing your damned protection stone. By the gods, Evan, I wonder sometimes if you have any sense of self-preservation at all.” I shrunk back from his anger. “I’m sorry.”
Why are putting up with this, Evan? I don’t care how much Maddox loves you, but treating you like a subordinate who doesn’t know any better shouldn’t be acceptable. Shame on Briar and Lake for not saying anything and kudos to Rowan who put him in place. And then, RIGHT AFTER this, Maddox keeps with his assholery by saying this infuriating piece:
36%: “Run along to the kitchen and cook to your adorable heart’s content while he and I have a chat.”
If my husband said that to me, he would deeply regret that.
Briar, poor Briar, sounded a bit off in this book. His part was so minimal and I missed seeing him more. Lake was less standoffish and is warming up Briar and Maddox. He is more comfortable with them being together and just wanted him to be able to be out and about with the others. Rowan showed as a quite interesting character, with many layers and a much better understanding of Evan than Maddox or Briar. He’s observant, and notice the people around him, despite saying he doesn’t care for others. His comments about Callum were on point even with Evan being so oblivious. Finding he’s a bottom was interesting because it gave Evan an chance to switch roles but also made me think that none of the other men ever considered him to be a top - again with the preconceived notions on what to Evan is supposed to be/do. Still, his “test” on Evan when he took the barmaid note and said he would go to her later was disgusting. The only thing he accomplished was hurting Evan’s feelings right after saying how much Evan was important to him. I wished Evan would let him grovel a bit more after that. Despite that I liked how Rowan and Lake bonded - of sorts - during this trip. Lake seemed to warm up to Rowan faster than he did to Maddox and Briar. The one thing it’s driving me nuts is how often it’s mentioned that Evan is clumsy. The poor guy can’t walk ten steps without tripping. And yet this was mentioned hundred times. I know he is clumsy and will trip on himself, I don’t need to read that every other page though. I’m curious to see what will happen with Callum as it’s obvious he will the next to be snatched by Evan. He is a literal cinnamon roll. Since our wandering sorcerer mentioned 2 or 3 more men to the harem, my suspicions are on him and Lord Onyx, based on his behaviour in the previous book. As for the final one, I have a few guesses.

3.5⭐️. I really do love these books but I’m getting to the point where I’m wishing for some real movement with the plot. Every book we get like one new piece of information that leaves a hundred questions and I’m kinda just ready for some stuff to start happening. That being said, I really liked how we got to see the relationship develop between Evan and Rowan in this book. I really like them together and Rowan is a fun character to add to this group. Callum being hinted at as one of Evan’s love interests was honestly a shock to me. I really did not see it coming. Since there’s now gonna be like seven of them I think the three we’re missing are Callum, Ban and Onyx. I’m still really hoping she doesn’t have Onyx be one of them cause that’s pretty lame and predictable but we’ll see. I totally guessed Evan being of royal blood so it was pretty awesome to see myself being right about that. I missed Briar and Maddox in the second half of the book but was glad Lake got more time. It was still good but I’m hoping the next book has some progress with the plot.
This is the third book in the series and should be read in order.
Evan and his men always give me a shot of much needed happiness.
Evan is offered an opportunity for a second cafe and the book mainly revolves around travelling there and setting up the new cafe. I was sad that Maddox and Briar had to stay behind for their jobs (don’t worry we do still see them), but it was necessary for other characters to shine and evolve their relationship with Evan. Travelling out of Bremloc also allowed Jaclyn Osborn to flex her imagination and expand the world building.
Evan travels with Lake (who has to hide), Rowan, Callum, Duke and three new characters (one who is SPECIAL, one who is nice and one who is horrible). I feel fully cemented that I know Evan, Briar and Maddox and quite a few other characters like Sawyer and Kuya really well and they feel like friends at this point. I enjoyed learning more about Rowan and his backstory is so sad. Lake is so precious and must be protected at all costs; I loved seeing him integrate into Evan’s ‘harem’. Evan’s men and him have become a little family in a big family of amazing side characters. They bring me so much joy and an overwhelming feeling of love.
I was right about my theory! However, a wonderful addition to this series managed to take me by surprise. I still have so many questions! I’m so excited to see more of Evan’s men and him coming together and for his men to find out what Evan learned!
This series has a very special place in my heart and I can’t wait for more! I am hoping for this series to never end and get all the answers I need at the same time, also hoping for many side character stories such as Kuya and Sawyer & Duke and Baden.
🧁 Our adorable muffin lead 👀 A protective knight or two or three… 🔮 A calming physician 🐾 Our sweet wolf boy 🌙 A troublesome thief ❓ Lots of questions… 🍰 Sweetness and cakes galore!

I loved getting back to Evan and his men and was so immensely sad when I was done reading and didn’t have another book to immediately start afterwards. I loved the direction this book took. Maddox and Briar have been such huge presences in Evan’s life from the beginning and I loved that Lake kinda took the lead in watching over him and that he was included more. Rowan was different from all the other men in so many ways I loved that struggle even though I just wanted to go back and love that little lost boy. All the men blend so perfectly together and it was fun getting to reveal all the secrets we kinda already knew.
Now for the reason I said this had spoilers. Let’s talk about the addition of some love interests! I always thought Callum would be a part of the harem, but he was friend zoned so I kinda let it go. I’m loving that he will be apart of Evan’s men. I’m so curious how this is going to play out and look forward to watching them discover and explore their feelings for each other. I also always thought the demon lord would be the one to either kill him or love him and that’s still on the table. I have some feelers out for that potential seventh man, but not sure—Ban? Sir Noah? So many possibilities. I am so ready for more and just hope we don’t have to wait too long.

This is truly the sweetest, dumbest series I've ever read...and I'm hooked. I need more, seriously, or I'll die. The thing with this one (and the reason why I gave it 3 stars when the others are 4) it's that it felt more as edging for the next instalment than a real book. Sure, we learn some fun things, such as or . But, at the end, it felt like an episode from a rom-com in the middle of the season. Not much happens. Not many steamy scenes, when compared to the other three, but it's good enough for me. Anyway, it feels like this gig is not published fast enough for my poor heart to resist it. I demand more, and I want it RIGHT NOW. I know it's not top notch literature, but who cares? It's fun, it's tender and perfect for those of us who are hopeless romantics with no intention of changing. For all my gals and gays who yearn to have an harem of men at their disposal, this one's for you.
Rowan, I love you. Ughhhh! I was already a goner for Maddox and the author pulled out a morally gray character with a tragic past and a magnificent sense of sarcasm- how can I resist? This checks every box!
GOD I love this series. I really do! It's just so cosy, so cute... The plot thickens though and I'm PRAYING for a happily ever after (please don't break my heart).
What can I say? Evan is stupid, Callum is also stupid and Ban is the cutest baby oger ever. Lake is Lake, as perfect as one can be and Rowan is officially my favorite character. I LOVE reading about Evan's little café adventures (they're so cosy, please) and I'm proud to say that HAHAAAAA I PREDICTED WHO EVAN'S FATHER WAS SINCE BOOK ONE, I'M ON FIRE! (I was like "imagine how hilarious it would be if– and then... Yeah.)
“I don’t ever want to leave your side, but one day, you’ll come to your senses and see how wrong I am for you. And then, you really will destroy me.”
I’ve never read a book like this series before and I absolutely love it! I love all the characters especially Evan & Kuya ❤️ this series is such a comfort read for me I love everything about it! Evan is on his next adventure but had to leave behind Maddox and Briar, even though he’s only leaving for a month I cried during his farewell, Maddox stepping after the carriage, stop 😭 But so happy we finally got to see more of Rowan and learn about his past which also made me cry! We also learn soooo much more about Evans family! And a possible new future and 2 new men! I’m so excited to read the next however many books (hoping for as many as possible) I just love this series, the writing is incredible and I always read the books in one sitting ❤️ p.s. I need more Kuya content 🤣❤️
I jumped into this volume without re-reading the previous volumes, but that wasn’t an issue. Jaclyn did a skillful job of providing the correct level of reminders. It’s a tightrope. Too little, and the reader is lost. Too much, and it’s boring, especially when binge reading the series. But I don’t think I would have been annoyed, even if I had just re-read the previous volumes. I like Rowan and I like the way a relationship seems to be developing between Rowan and Lake. They have a lot in common, since they both know what it’s like to be hated for the way they were born. I don’t understand why Maddox and Briar were on the cover in stead of Lake, though, since he was a lot more important in this volume than they were. Looking forward to more.
I read this book so quickly, I didn't even take the time to savor it. 🥲
As usual with this series, it was hilarious, and the relationships are wholesome but not too sugary. It's sweet, but each lover shows his affection differently. I like how the author portrays different kinds of love languages. The characters are well-developed, and they're all unique in their own way. In a lot of poly/why-choose books with more than two love interests, you can't always tell the difference between each voice. It is not the case at all here.
Evan finally found out the truth about his birth! I can't wait for the rest of this story.
I've listened to the audio versions of the first 2 books, but I love this series so much, I just couldn't wait this time, and grabbed it on release day to read straight through! You better believe I'll be getting the audiobook when it comes out too! Such a fantastic, romantic, nerve-wracking, heart-melting adventure! Love this world, this series, these characters, and this book! So many endearing things; the humor, relationship dynamics, all the drama & bombshells, cryptic clues from butthole wizards, cute & sweet demi humans, all the adventure & intrigue. Evan & his men keep me on the edge of my seat, turning pages and begging for more when the last one flips. Can't wait for more!!
4.5 stars from me. Well, we have a new member of the 'harem', and also discovered who Evan's father was. Loved that he was able to get closure on his mum from a mage who was in love with her, but left things too late to make her his own. No sign of the Douchebag Prince in this one 🎉🎉, but I'm not holding my breath for book 4. I still think he's connected to Haran and all the problems everyone is experiencing.
Lupin turns up with more information regarding Ev's future, and it could be a pretty deadly one but also includes a further addition to the clan [🤞🤞🤞 it's Callum, I've been rooting for him since book 1]. The fourth and final story comes out in February 2025 I think 🤔.
SLIGHT SPOILERS! Usually when harem books like this add more to the harem as the story progresses each new member feels more static, more of an after thought each time. But Jaclyn makes each addition feel like the first one. And when the Butthole Wizard announces to Evan that his conservative estimate of five has actually grown to a tentative seven, we also learn that Evan has met all of them already. I know who two of them are and have a theory on the third. And I CANNOT WAIT until the next book. But I have to, because it won’t release until January of ‘25! 😫
This was a very cute read!! I'm giving it 4 stars, because the issues I've had were probably not the book's fault, but mine. 1) it was so sweet and unfortunately for me, it has gotten to the "sickly sweet" point, where it just stopped working for me 2) it was funny at times, but sometimes it just made me...cringe, for the lack of a better word. 3) I sort of lost the connection I felt to the characters in previous books. I don't know why, but it happened. So the issues I've listed above aren't necessarily bad things. Like I've mentioned this is probably a me problem. Still, I'd say, give it a go!! ❤️
You want a huge hit of dopamine? Read the series. Evan is just enough of a Mary Sue in how everyone falls for him, but it's literally in the title so if that's not your jam you best skip this one.
He's super down to earth and I see why his men are fiercely loyal. Also, I cackled when Lupin showed back up with his cryptic dialogue but dropped the nugget that Evan could have as many as 7 lovers now! I want this series to never end and that when Evan survives the dangerous reality of his parentage and has found all of his soul mates, they all go on adventures together and have the hottest sweetest sex all over the fantasy world and beyond.
It’s like the first 2 books lacked any drama so Ms Osborn decided to hit us with almost all the tropes in this one while the MMC argued against those same tropes as they happened in the book 😂 We got OW drama — twice, given that this is an MMM fantasy, well, that’s saying something. We had Rowan with the hot and cold act, he was a really frustrating character. Glad my predictions about Evan’s parentage were true now we await 3 more possible lovers one of which I believe is the 2nd man Evan interacted with on his arrival in Bremloc, yep, the oooey and gooey cinnamon roll. Could Ban possibly be the other? New cafe in Exalos opened, next up revealing his secrets to his men
