The year is 1982. Having survived the terrifying events in the Sahara, June hopes that she's going to be left alone for a while to get on with her life at the convent. Soon, however, she receives a new assignment, and this time her mission is extremely personal.

Many years ago, before she became a nun, June was a scared little orphan at Holdham Hall School for Girls. She and her friend Meredith started investigating claims that the school was haunted, but they soon discovered that ghost-hunting is no child's play.

Now June has been sent back to Holdham Hall, and she's expected to finish the investigation she started all those years ago. She soon discovers that she's not alone, but can anything prepare her for the awful truth of what happened on that terrifying night that set her on the path toward the convent?

The Sixth Window is the sixth book in the Chronicles of Sister June series. Readers are advised to start with the first book.

These books are getting worse. The series started off strong but the 5th book was plain boring. This book did add some elements to the overall story but it's painful to see sister June so useless with zero survival instincts. This is the sixth book of the series and her character hasn't evolved yet. There are so many questions still left unanswered. May be I will take a break before picking the next one.

This was my favourite story of the series so far because it answered many questions and I liked the 1945 recollections.

I liked the mystery, the plot and the sense of place. The characters suited the story and it will be interesting to see what happens next.

Intense read

Oh my, so many ghosts, and Sister June is having a horrible time figuring out what is going on. John the werebear showed up too late. Can't wait for book three to come out.

Incredibly horrifying

Poor Sister June, having to put up with that witch Sister Josephine. Lucky John is trying to help her out.
