For me, that meant I have always wanted to be a writer. In 2013, I made it happen when I discovered the new world of self-publishing.
I love to write – there’s almost nothing I’d rather be doing. I still love reading, but writing is more active and satisfying. I can honestly say I will never stop. After all this time, it’s who I am.
I began my career in one genre, but now I’m exploring others. I will experiment with different pen names and new personas as I go, but I’ll always be the same person, the same writer, who loves the craft and the people who make it possible.
This currently concludes a very dark series about sex trafficking and female sexual slavery, mostly of kidnapped girls, and the mothers caught trying to rescue them. I couldn't put this series down. It is very well written even if it is very dark material that quickly got me caring about the victims of this tragedy in which a few of the victims eventually escape, and one of the villians (maybe the biggest villian - you decide) pays the ultimate price she intends on serving to her victims. I'd love to read more about these characters, but I understand the author's note about the issues with continuing. Not the least of which how to get the escapees together to start a movement that would just get them either recaptured or killed to stop supported by entire nation.
I really have enjoyed this series of books. The characters are well-developed and the plots are both adrenaline exciting and erotically exciting. Nice visual details thrown in the mix. I recommend all the books in this series. You can't go wrong.
