Well written and clear study tracing Colquhoun to the theology of the Marrow men. Biegel’s chapters summarizing the theology of Marrow theologians (e.g. Boston, Erskine brothers. Fisher, etc.) are very helpful for those trying to understand the Marrow controversy. Obviously, it also provides further context for those who would like to understand the theology and ministry of John Colquhoun.

Very helpful work on understanding how the gospel can be offered to all freely and yet we can also still affirm the doctrines of grace, like limited atonement.
