Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse...
My best friend is missing. Now so am I. Being held captive as an unmated Omega is just another event to add to my list of problems. But this time, there are no cookies, cakes, or macarons to distract me from the trauma. I can only hope that Landon, River, and Vincent are on the case, saving as many kidnapped Omegas as they can. But would they even bother to help me after I rejected them? What would three Alphas want with an insecure Omega? If they find me, I fear I'll be broken beyond repair. I can only hope that they'll be willing to mend my heart back together.
The conclusion to the Knot A Trace Duet. Featuring three hot Alpha detectives and a strong willed Omega. HEA guaranteed!

I read this series off of an unhinged reel that described one very specific scene… and to be honest I went into it not expecting it to be THAT good. But I flew through this duet and really enjoyed it.

🌟 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄: You guys know I love the omegaverse. But reading this set based off a joke had me assuming it wouldn’t be great - and the Goodreads ratings didn’t help.
But I actually loved it! Both books are bingeable - I finished the duet in two days and couldn’t put it down. The three alphas were so perfectly different, and I loved Skylar’s vulnerability. It had everything I want in an omegaverse book - heats, knots, possessiveness, mating bonds…
Add on the subplot of the missing omegas and a lot of really solid spice, and I’m definitely recommending this one.
I’m glad it defied my expectations, and I’ll be picking up more Liliana Carlisle in the future.

What a way to conclude this duet! Definitely can see myself rereading the series again! I loved the FMC and the guys slowly forming their pack. Also how they acted when she was gone ugh too cute and emotional The spicy scenes were spicing
Book 2 felt a bit slower than the first but it still ended really well and had lots of sweet romantic moments to level out the darker more suspenseful aspects
This book was honestly good, but I feel like adding Vincent wasn’t the right move. I feel like he kinda made everything awkward and I feel like we didn’t have enough of a relationship forming between him and Skylar. There was only one meeting in the first book that went horrible and then after she was rescued it was like they’ve been together forever. Idk I feel like we just needed more of a bond between them bc it was def awkward and weird. That was honestly the only thing I didn’t like. The rest of the book was so good and I honestly loved seeing the relationship between her, river, and Landon. It was absolutely so cute and I love that they finally formed a pack. Also can we just talk about how she put her come in cookies and fed them to her men??!!! That was so amazing I literally loved that. It was amazing to see how her men cared for her through everything she’s been through and to see the bond they’ve formed. This was a great end to their story and I’m excited to see April find her happily ever after!!
They found April!!!!!!!!! Yayyyyyy!!!!!!! Oh my goodness, that was a roller coaster of emotions. The feels were feeling today!!!!! I have read this books in a span of less than 24 hours. I loved both parts. They enraptured me from the beginning and the writing of this book was fabulous. It had me angsty, it had me happy, it had me hopeful and it had me sad. I loved it all. River, Landon and Vincent had my heart from the beginning. I’m so glad Skylar was such a phenomenal FMC. She was so kind and definitely didn’t deserve the horrible treatment of her ex Alpha. He deserves to rot and blow up in the truck that River poured coffee into the gas tank of. (That was absolutely one of my favourite scenes) I love that they all had the moment to declare their love for her. I love that they all had a chance to mark her and become eternally bonded. It was so heartwarming when these mile stones were reached. I would have been so upset if they didn’t get their happy ending. River, I loved. He was such a goof for her but kind of an ass to everyone else. Landon was soft and kind from the very beginning. Vincent was an absolute prick in the beginning. He treated her very harshly in their very first interaction which made me a little standoffish of him at first. He definitely grew into one of my favourite characters though. He was level headed and I loved that he became the leader of their pack just like he was born to be. To think I read this book because I saw a snippet on TikTok that said “he laughs in her face and then immediately regrets it after she is found hit by a car out front of their building”. Gosh. I really am pliable when it comes to books with an interesting meet. 😬 Anyway, loved it. Ps, I love that Devyn stepped outside of the norm and got together with a Beta. That was the sweetest thing ever. I hated the kidnapping of the Omegas in this story though. It made the plot but damn was it hard to read. I got incredibly emotional and it could have warned me.
This duet is seriously so good. Skylar is a tough , kind , loving FMC. After April was taken she never gave up on looking for her. Literally drove two hours to plead the case to private detectives. Gets hit by a car in their parking lot after they reject her and still doesn’t give up on asking them. Her love for her best friend was everything and so realistic , I know I’d be the same way if it was my best friend that was taken so it was nice to see that type of love represented. Landon is a genuine sweetheart. Kind in every way , even when he was at first turning Skylar away he was going it as nice as he could and stayed that way throughout the duet. His love for her was gentle and patient. He never gave up either , he knew that they’d end up helping Skylar. River was a bit rough and harsh at first because he thought she was too good for him. But he pushes that thought away after they really get to talk. The words used to describe him , wild and chaotic , are perfect , while he’s focused , he’s still all over the place in the best way. His love for her is deep and wild. Vincent was quite rude to her when they first met which he openly regretted and makes up for. He didn’t think he was good enough for her either but she proves him wrong. He is steady and fierce and her voice of clarity when she needs it. He may come in a tad later than the Landon and River , but it doesn’t diminish his love for Skylar. I love how despite their bad past , Landon , River and Vincent come together to find her when she too gets taken. She brings them all back together and shows them that they need each other. They balance each other out. They accept each other for her at first but come together naturally because it’s right. I absolutely loved this duet and encourage everyone to read it.

This is an amazing story, it really is, I love the premise, I love almost all the characters, and I adore the people closest to Skylar.
It’s Skylar I have an issue with. She’s 100% a great friend, truly she does care and shows it, but at what point was she going to grow to love herself? It’s a masochists dream up in her head, and I’m so sad it didn’t change. I kept waiting for an epiphany, and it never comes. No matter how good the men are, how loving her friends and family are, it never comes and she is acting SHOOK till the very end! If you love someone, doesn’t that mean you trust them?! Trust them to help you and be there for you, but she doesn’t. It shows so deeply in this story how little trust she actually has in any of them. She literally tells River when her heat is starting that he doesn’t have to do anything for her because she can’t reciprocate. That’s such a hurtful thing to say to someone else it’s ridiculous he brushes it off? Zero trust in them. A healthy relationship can’t actually form when you are constantly waiting for the shoe to drop, it’s damaging to the partner those expectations are placed on!!!!
I want to like Skylar but her words and actions are super damn hurtful, whether intentional or not. I’m a bit disappointed she doesn’t change.
Beautiful story otherwise, I’m just upset I didn’t get to see that personal growth I was hoping so desperately for her.
I wish I could say the cliffhanger was resolved within the first couple of pages. But it is not, and Liliana Carlisle breaks your heart in the first ten chapters because our GIRL is going through it and our MEN are struggling to handle it.
And why is Skylar so fucking relatable in the worst ways for my emotional well being? Her hyper-independence as a result of an unsupportive former partner, her unrelenting fear of being a burden, her struggle to believe that she is worth being cared for or even deserving of the positive attention these men want to lavish her with? I feel targeted. But watching these men show up for her, giving her the things she has deprived herself of, loving her with an abundant abandon, it was low key kind of healing for me. I’ve been screaming it since Part One, there’s no such thing as “too much” for the right people and Skylar deserves good things and watching her get them by no other virtue than just existing was honestly the best part of this book for me.
Probably the most suspenseful book I’ve read by Liliana Carlisle and it was such a good book! Everything was well woven and the characters, relationships, and spice were everything you want from a Liliana Carlisle story.
The second book picks up where the first left off, outside of Skylar's where she disappeared from under her Alpha's noses. The guy who kidnaps her is one of many O dealers who make drugs out of Omega blood and this is why the Omegas were disappearing. This is why Skylar has been taken.
Skylar has a horrific time with John, the fake alpha with his fake alpha pheromones. He does not r@pe her but does chain her to a dirty mattress with his filthy T-shirts in hopes she'll eventually come to like his gross odor. While this is going on, Skyler is going through Suppression Withdrawl... I'm not sure why she's on suppressors? On top of the withdrawl, John is also starving and dehydrating her to the point he lets her off the chain because she is too weak to escape.
Her Alphas find her, but there is an additional one... Vincent, who helps pin point her exact location after reviewing video of the shop and noticing a strange customer. Once Skyler is rescued, she makes a statement and holds a press conference to clue people into to this issue, and more effort goes into locating the missing Omegas. Eventually, April is found.
I really enjoyed the steamy plot of this book River was my favorite Alpha... I know what you did with my jacket. The addition of Vincent was exciting, and I wondered how the tension between River and Vincent would play out.
🍬 ⚜️ Book Title - Knot a Trace: Part 2 ⚜️ Author - Liliana Carlisle ⚜️ Rating - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⚜️ Some Genre/Themes/Tropes: Adult Fiction, Romance, why choose and Omega-verse
I received an advanced reader copy (ARC) of this book via the author. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. This is my honest review.
This was a great conclusion. Like the first part, it was a quick and easy read wrapping up the main plot quite well.
I thought some parts of the relationships were only surface level throughout but considering this was a quick read, I shouldn’t expect too much character depth. It’s definitely an insta love. It hit the mood reading right 👌 I wanted an easy read.
I would recommend this book to others who love why choose, Omega-verse books. I will definitely look for other books written by this author.
I want to say thank you to the author for the ARC.
Note (How I rate): One is DNF. Two is got there but struggled. Three stars is a good, enjoyable read. Four is an excellent read and five is a comfort read that lingers with me for life (very difficult to get but not impossible).
Liliana knocked this one out of the park!!! I love a good mix of storyline and smut and this story did it beautifully. We left off in the last book with a pretty giant cliffhanger and it wasn’t immediately resolved (can you say a nail biter) but seeing the guys’ desperation and dedication to finding her was ✨ chef’s kiss ✨ I love how Vincent was added to the group (the more the merrier) and he’s just as obsessed as River and Landon. He’s able to come out of his shell and work through his issues, and his character development in general makes him one of my favorite characters. Why does the quintessential grumpy daddy always end up being my favorite? I also love how the guys all constantly reassure Skylar, letting her know that she’s not “too much” or “too needy” like others have made her feel. All in all, this duet completely sucked me in and I had such a hard time putting it down. Now I just want that other character’s story 👀👀👀
Tropes/Dynamics: 🧁Why choose 🧁 Omegaverse 🧁 Hurt/Comfort 🧁 Baker FMC 🧁 3 Detective MMCs (who are obsessed) 🧁 Lots of spice, heat, knotting, (dvp scene 👀) 🧁 Kidnapping/mystery
First off, thank you to the author for gifting me an arc!! After that cliffhanger I needed the next one asap!!
This was such a good conclusion to this duet!! It was a cute, quick read that finished off the plot nicely. The plot and the relationships are balanced so well throughout both of these books, which is what I think makes it so enjoyable. Lots of omegaverse just focuses in the characters and relationships, which I don't mind, but this book just has a little bit extra depth.
Although I do think Vincent could have been developed a little bit more, I found it still worked within the bounds of the story and still enjoyed their relationship. However I did like River and Landon more. Skylar is literally so cute, I love her so much, and she never loses her spirit. She never stops fighting for herself and her friend and grows so much. I love the baking aspects of this book as well, and how its woven into the plot and characters.
Highly recommend this book if you love omegaverse, why choose romance, mystery plot, and detective mmcs!!
I am so here for these suspense Omegaverse series that are being released! I’ve always been partial to suspense and mystery, heck I was raised on Jonathan Kellerman and James Patterson! BUT for them to be incorporated into ov as well! BEST OF BOTH WORLDS! Smut, love, HEA and a mystery to solve! I was really stumped, well I knew the omega disappearances were linked to the outbreak of O within the first few chapters of Knot a Trace book one. What I’m really pleased about is that ***SPOILER ALERTS*** the villain wasn’t big pharma or some secret subset of the government like so many other OV stories. I like the genuineness of the characters, they were true to themselves, no weird 360 degree changes in them after meeting their pack. They continued to be who they were before. I would love a cute little story about Devyn and Ben… maybe they can find their pack as well. Oh and I really want to see the pack house, because now at are that many people going to got n Skyes one bedroom house! Happy Reading Friends!
This book. LORD. I was so irritated with Skylar at the end of part 1. I think if I’m being honest I was more invested in finding April than Skylar because I was so irritated. But in part 2 we learn so much more of Skylar’s past to explain her behavior and mental state that I couldn’t help but empathize with her and start cheering for her.
I love River and watching his walks come down and to go along with the ride for both River and Vincent to heal from their past trauma as well. Landon is steadfast as ever not wavering at all through it all. They let Skylar lead the pace and interactions as she went through healing from her ordeal letting you really get the feels for how much they love her.
From my experience omega verse books tend to either be so over the top they fall flat for are done perfectly. This duet is absolute perfection. Do yourself a favor and grab part 1 and get started!
This review is for Part One and Part Two, but no major spoilers.
Omegaverse romance. The FMC is an omega whose best friend has gone missing, and the MMCs are the 3 alpha private detectives she goes to for help.
What I liked: The story was engaging and easy to read. There was a lot of caregiving/spoiling, as the FMC had a lot of insecurities after her last relationship and the 3 MMCs were all “you’re doing US a favour by letting us take care of you.”
What I liked less: I know omegaverse sex has copious fluids, but the extent of it here had me worried about dehydration. 😕 Also, I could not understand the reason for River (one of the MMCs) holding a grudge against some of the other characters AT ALL, which made me side eye other characters who thought his anger was justified. What is there to forgive?!
Final thoughts: I enjoyed it for the pure escapism, but I wasn’t reading it for the emotional journey. 😅
First, I would like to say thank you to Liliana Carlisle for allowing me to review this ARC. I was lucky enough to be reading book 1 when the ARC opportunity came about because that cliffhanger was something else. I would want a friend like Skylar. She is persistent, resourceful, and refuses to consider that April will not be found. While searching for April, Skylar meets three detectives. Landon, River, and Vincent have worked together in the past but due to a traumatic experience are barely on speaking terms. The one thing they have in common is Skylar. Their desire to be with her has them leaving the past behind and looking to the future as a pack. I love how they all come together and support Skylar while searching for April. If you like detectives who fall hard and fast you will love this book.
This is for both parts of this duet. There will be spoilers. * * * * So. This one was a little different. Usually in A/B/O books, there is an omega that meets an established pack of me. In this case, the omega causes a pack to be formed around her. I have seen it before, but it is pretty rare, and I liked it. You don't have a female coming in and trying to slot into an awkward slot woth a bunch of people that have been close for years. I have not looked ahead. I am not sure if the series co tinues with April, or even this general O storyline. I am hoping so. For one, I need to see April get her HEA. For 2, there is no way a drug like that would just stop being made. So I would think that has to keep going as well. We will see. I will definitely read the next one.
I just want to start off by saying thank you Liliana for giving me an arc to this amazing book.☺️
Part 1 ended in a cliffhanger of the FMC getting kidnapped, and let me tell you, her men didn’t stop searching. The way they cared for the FMC was perfection. They treat her like the queen she is, and I ate it right up. I loved all three of the MMCs and their different personalities. The entire group just worked so well together I couldn’t stop reading. Liliana is honestly the best writer of spicy scenes, I very much enjoyed and devoured them. The ending was everything I wanted and the perfect way to end this duet, I will miss these characters so much. Highly, highly, highly recommend these books!!❤️
I can’t believe she was missing for over a month. I totally called that the guy from the beginning of book one taking forever to order macaroons was in on it. I thought they somehow got the omega pheromones not that they used their blood. She finally realized that she deserved to be loved and taken care of. They all were able to move on from the past and start a pack/family. April was found and was okay. All of the omegas that had been taken were saved, part of which was because of the press conference she did. I died when she told the guys that she put some of her slick in the cookies. That was crazy. This duet was a wild ride, it made me laugh, it made me cry, and it made me happy.

Liliana has written a book that you won’t want to put down. This is a great book with an awesome ending. We pick up the story with Skylar still looking for April, her best friend/sister. Skylar gets a dose of reality from Vincent. River and Landon have told Skylar not to go to work, that it’s too dangerous and Skylar takes exception to that. She kicks them out screaming “You’re not my ALPHAS!” Skylar disappears...The guys are going crazy. Will they find Skylar, will they find April? Are they too late for either of the gals? Well, you are just going to have to read it. I definitely recommend this book!
What a ride this was coming off that cliffhanger from book 1! And Vincent...who knew 😉 I really enjoyed getting more of the back story on River and Vincent and the past that made them. Once I thought I had a favorite guy, then one of the others would do something to steal that spot and I honestly can't say I have just one!
Skylar's road to be found and recovery was rough but the fact she never gave up on April was so heartwarming. Even when she was getting on with her life she always went back to what could be done to find her best friend. So glad this had a HEA for everyone! I'll probably never look at macarons the same again!

This one is a most wonderful Omegaverse read. The sequel to KNOT A TRACE: PART ONE, this one continues the suspense, the mystery as well as delicious sizzle and scorch. Three drool worthy Alphas completely enraptured with their emotionally delicate Omega and determined to protect hers at all costs while she is obsessed with finding and rescuing her missing best friend. Engaging characters, a mesmerizing plot, intense smexual tension, suspenseful tenterhooks all perfectly balanced in a beautifully written story that impacted me emotionally in numerous ways. Wonderful, enthralling, engaging, superb. I loved this one and can't wait for Ms. Carlilse's next offering.
I absolutely loved part 2. I got to feel a lot of emotions throughout the book and it was a good conclusion to the book. The plot was amazing and I loved that the cliffhanger from book one didn’t get solved right away or you didn’t know exactly what was gonna happen.
While I will say that Skylar did irritate me at times it didn’t take away from the story. I loved the way the detectives came to love her and how they all worked for her trust again. I found the spice to be VERY good lol.
Overall, I loved this book and the duet all together was really good. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a good mystery Omegaverse!
Plot: Skylar, a omega working at a local bakery, isn't looking for an alpha. Been there, done that. But when her best friend is kidnapped and she heads out to find the detectives who can help her, she discovers a couple of alphas who, while reluctant, draw her attention like no other. Landon and River are both too busy to take on another case, but there's something about Skylar that makes them want to help. When they need help with the case, they call in an old coworker, Vincent, who adds his expertise to the task of finding the missing omegas.
Commentary: This was an odd group of characters in so many ways. The alphas didn't get along with one another. I found Vincent to be completely unlikeable. Skylar was an older omega (29, but in omegaverse, that's older), which is unusual. They just didn't really mesh. The guys were attracted to Skylar, and it happened quickly, as in most omegaverses, so that wasn't too weird. But the idea of pack in this story was not what I was used to reading. It didn't seem to matter if there were any connections amongst the alphas or not - they were simply there for the omega rather than a family unit.
Also, I never understood why River hated Vincent so much. Landon seemed to be neutral. He didn't care as much about Vincent as River did, I guess. But River hated him, and why? Because Vincent quit when the job got to be too much for him. He burnt out, was near a breakdown, and so quit. That doesn't seem like such a terrible offense. What good would he have been on the job still, in that state of mind? He didn't owe River anything, mentor or not. He didn't really let anyone down. He didn't do anything awful. He just quit his job. It didn't seem to be the big deal that River was making it out to be.
Anyways, I liked the mystery aspect of the story, and I generally enjoy this author. I just don't know how I feel about this "pack." I did appreciate the way they all took care of Skylar and gave her what she needed. (same commentary for both parts of the duet)
OHMYGOODNESS book 2 crushed. Like wow. So many twists but they all connected. The men figured themselves out, they gave each other and Skyler everything they needed emotionally, managed to grow through their personal issues together and separately, and the ending was PERFECT. So disappointed I finished it already but I couldn’t put it down. I was working at one point and my brain was partially thinking about how much I wanted to read more it was that good. Read in less than two days! Would’ve been faster but day 2 was a work day
Skylar's Conclusion Part Two did not disappoint. Liliana gives Skylar and her alphas an ending they deserved. Filled with mystery, suspense, lots of emotions, and spicy scenes. We also see forgiveness, healing, and overall growth in our characters. Skylar really shined in this book. She showed kindness, understanding, and resilience. Vincent, River, and Landon, I loved them even more in this book. I love how they went all out to show Skylar how much they cared and to support her. I'm so glad they finally came together! I loved it!
