SOMETHING BEYOND OUR WILDEST FEARS...

Multiple time USA TODAY & Amazon 5-million copy bestselling authors DAVID ARCHER and BLAKE BANNER have combined forces to create one hell of a thriller series!A leak at GCHQ – the UK’s version of the NSA – means that sensitive Allied and Israeli intelligence is being fed to Iran and Israel’s wider enemies. ODIN, the Five Eyes’ ultra-secret Special Operations Office, has teamed up their best operative, Alex Mason, with the Mossad’s Captain Aila Gallin to investigate and plug the leak.

There’s just one problem…

Their prime suspect has been assassinated. Was he killed by the very people he was selling information to? Or had he stumbled on the source of the leaks and was about to blow the whistle? In either case the method of the killing was bizarre, and the fact that his cell phone and his computer were wiped clean, even of their operating systems, within minutes of his death speaks to a level of sophistication well beyond the means of Hamas or Iran.

Nero, the genius at the head of ODIN fears they are facing one of two a Chinese attempt to provoke a Third World War in the Middle East which would spell the end of Israel.

Or then again, it might be something even more terrifying than that.

Something beyond our wildest fears…

Great book

Alex Mason is great as always! I can't wait for the next adventure. Although I'm looking forward to an installment that doesn't have AI as the enemy... I miss the old fashioned bad guys.

End time events happen rapidly

Headline violence in October 2023 becomes basis for exploration of international reset and AI independence. As usual, the authors offer relevant dialogue about life, society, and power. Specific references to Armageddon and Megiddo serve as fair warning to all who think about worldwide confusion and terror.
One last edit and proof read BEFORE publication might smooth flow of the interesting narrative. I submit comments and corrections via Kindle while reading. Does anyone see those?

so gripping you cannot put it down

Amidst all that’s going on in the world, this story tells a monumental tale that mirrors our present day world. A work of fiction, that could also hold some truths. But what a story it is. It’s well thought out and has twists and turns that keep you guessing but also saying to yourself, is it possible? This is one amazing read I couldn’t put down and that did leave me wondering. Cudos to our authors on this glorious offering. They keep getting better and better

The really unique feature of this whole series is the core story line. AI. With human helpers trying to tap into the Yellowstone Caldera, Israel and Muslim country intrigue and more. While the action of the three main characters is always action packed, the side perspectives on the history of religion in the Middle East as just one example adds to the understanding. I find myself highlighting regularly.

Somebody needs to clean up the typos but that’s not a big deal. I am an author myself so I see them

Really excellent book, possibly the best yet!!

For those living under a mushroom it is really informative about the middle-East situation. and it is bang up to date. The main premise of how the current conflict between Israel and Islam might be flipped and resolved is definitely scary, however, from a brief history perspective it is highly recommended.

I read this book in one sitting and that is testimony enough.

AI must be found and destroyed and the entire world must understand that the Jewish people must be either be ready to wipe out all enemies and take over all the oil that under their home and civilize the world of peoples that live around their country with the help of all the WW2 allies so all people may live wonderful and safe lives together.

Cutting edge

David and Blake create gripping contemporary stories with standout heroes who uphold the 'good' and value the best of humanity's virtues and recognise the worst of our vices. We're all chilled by current global tensions but with these 2 Archangels teaching us how to 'be the best that we can be' I wake each day with renewed optimism that we all will find a way to thrive.

Amazing & Timely!!

Another fast paced adventure that is very in tune with current events in the Middle East, illustrating the danger of foolish people all over the world getting brainwashed by evil people via computer and internet. Very sad and frightening. One can only hope there are enough good people like Mason and Captain Gailan, out there to protect us all from those that wish to push us back 1000 years!

Nero

No I can’t give it away but OMGosh what a ride. David Archer please let this series continue. I have enjoyed them all but this one is my favorite. I enjoyed the twist & turns around the Bible and I’m old enough to understand what you’re getting at in relation to WWII.. It does look like a leap into the future and our old ways are dying out. Is it coming full circle yet? I may not live to see it.. Great job

Where will we end?

AI is developing all the time. Only the few know how far it has developed, advanced.
Many industries rely on automation controlled by machines, not people. This was a novelty to be amazed at twenty, thirty years ago. Now it is the norm, accepted every day, grown beyond the original boundaries.
This novel looks at where things can develop, have been developed.
This series of books have highlighted the future with AI, but who will be around to see it.

Thought provoking....

A frightening look at the Israel situation and its progression and longevity. It is an even more frightening look at AI and is almost limitless potential, both.good and evil. No going back now... The Pandora's box has been opened and where we end up is anyone's guess. A brilliant, if very deep and dark, read.

Alex Mason and Gallon at their best.

A new and powerful enemy is trying to start a war that humanity will ultimately never survive, it is technology that humanity built but can never control in the form of artificial intelligence that has become the enemy and ultimately Alex and Gallin have to find and then destroy the source before humanity becomes extinct.

Bloody & Raggedy

Lots of action but a plot that is inconsistent in places, especially the dip into AI-generated villains. It’s timely with AI increasingly in the news but it’s a little too new age for me. I like my villains the old-fashioned style — messed up humans rather than mis-programmed bots.

Very much a TODAY thriller

This one is uniquely right out of today's newsreel. Not just another "James and Jane Bond" tale. The scenario is so likely, half expect the VP to be exterminated tomorrow and the Middle East to explode into WW3, with Russia and China being major players.

Alex Mason Book 12 is so well written and timely with its AI emphasis that I am now reading Book 1 (Odin),so I can read all of the series! Blood on Megiddo deals with the Oct 7 2023 slaughter of innocent children and their parents and pets in Isreal. It has a gripping plot dealing with not only AI but potential treason among the Five Eyes.

Blood on Megiddo (Alex Mason Book 12)

Relying on Biblical prophetic themes, and current world events, the author has woven an exciting and compelling narrative. AI needs to be taken seriously. Will we be fooled by deep fake imagery?

Ai as villian

Blood of Megiddo pulled right from the current headline I enjoyed As always The by play Between Gallin and Mason But found this 1A bit too fanciful And somewhat without a true ending But still a hard to put-down read

Great very relevant story.

I loved the link to current world events. Very poignant using the Israel Gaza conflict, the Russia Ukraine war and the worry that AI could indeed lead to the extinction of humanity.

I was really enjoying this book until all the AI violence started at about 65%. I think that because what happened in the book is all too possible/probable in 2024 or the very near future, it was almost hard to read/bear. Outside of this, if give the book 4 stars.

I enjoyed this book as I recently read The Source and I understood the plot better. The religious aspect is important for following the issues in the plot. The story makes you wonder what is really going on at the present time. As usual it was a great read.

Strong start

This book had a strong start, plenty of action from the first page. Alex was not as obnoxious as usual and he and Aila worked well together. I liked the book.
