With the new Ridley Scott film out at cinemas, I thought I'd do some background reading on Napoleon's life being seeing the film.
This Quick Guide was great - there's a series of these books, which are designed to give you a concise overview of a subject, in a quick and easy to read format and this one definitely does the job! It cover Napoleon's early life, his rise to power and then it describes all the military conflicts he was involved in. It also covers his time in exile, his death and his life with Josephine. I also liked the 'Did you know' facts that were included.
I highly recommend this book.
