Ok, so I really am still in awe over how much Krampus-related erotica there is out there. What should be a feared, dangerous anti-Santa is somehow a love interest to many women of the world. He's gruff, tough, and got the stuff. Got a gigantic warhead that supposedly tastes like black licorice, too. Pretty fun, right? I guess I can see the curiosity of the ladies. I've always wondered what it'd be like to get seduced by Medusa or some other mythological beast. Anyway, I digress. Tabitha Lovelace really took some creative twists here, most of which paid off. Now I want to critique the excessive use of the word 'slut.' It was said a lot by both parties. And I was promised some really decent kink, which I didn't really get here. Some terrific sex, but very standard stuff. Maybe that's because I'm horribly desensitized from my past reading adventures. Who can say for sure? But I was expecting just some really odd sexual encounters and I just didn't get it. Maybe we can also resurrect the term 'slam pig?' Anyone remember that beauty? Slam pig over slut may have freshened some of the dirty talk up between Krampus and Holly. As I always make perfectly, crystal clear, these books make zero sense most of the time. For instance, in this story, Holly meets a mystery man and is getting railroaded by him viciously and engaged all within a few hours. But as long as the sex is on par, that's all that matters. This served its purpose and made me believe in the holiday spirit once again. Also, extra kudos for the author including a mulled wine recipe, too.
This book had me giggling AND my panties in a bunch at the same time. I love a good fated mates insta-love story, so this take on Krampus was great! The pagan vibes hit me in the feels, that ritual was H-O-T! I'm not sure how I feel about the warm liquid licorice, but I think it’s better than the alternative. If you want to be turned on while laughing, read it.
It’s a lusty story of instant attraction. Mystical, even. Our Krampus here is magnetic and commanding, and Holly is all there for him.
This Krampus is a shifter. He knows what he wants and it’s Holly, an event designer who is so good her parties are legendary.
Luckily for her, she’s also a size queen, because Kris/Krampus is blessed in both forms. Yes, there are some bedroom (etc) scenes where he’s merely a tall humanoid and others where he’s an even larger furred beastie. With some work Holly can accommodate them both.
It’s not perfect. I’m not sure why the story is set in 1953. Their language is definitely today’s sex-positive slang. The town isn’t prudish either.
If I have wishes it’s that his dirty talk and language as a dominant are cliché, and degradation is just NMK.
Still, I recommend it if you are looking for a fun, smutty holiday story.
Tabitha knew she had me in the palm of her hand then gave me monster dong with special flavors AND snowballing. I am on my hands and knees. This was everything it needed to be and more. The lore, the wonder, the darkness, the light… every bit of it. This was all parts pulp, kitsch and camp and I ate it up. 👏🏼 the vibes are immaculate in every Tabitha book I’ve read so far. The new sides of the holidays I didn’t really know were so fun to read about as well. It was entirely immersive and such an enjoyable and delicious read. Daddy krampus could get it. The twists at the end had me kicking my feet so let me stfu now before I spoil anything. TABITHA YOU DID IT AGAIN!
Event planner Holly (h) is the go to woman for any event in Evergreen, a town that loves all winter celebrations and festivities. Kris/Krampus (H) seeks her out for a special celebration on the Winter Solstice and as they prepare things heat up between the two. Holly realizes that Kris wants more from her than just being his event planner, he wants her for his forever naughty and nice girl who’ll be on the receiving end of the pain and pleasure only he can deliver. Ultra-hot and steamy Krampus-human fated mates wintry romance with spanking, birch whipping, degradation kink, power play, rough sex, snowballing, and more. Love the incorporation of so many different winter festivities’ and pagan elements, and the duality of Kris/Krampus.
I really enjoyed the lore and backstory of the characters in this one! I went in expecting shameless smut and while the smut was excellent the holiday spirit, backstory, and romance added to the atmosphere. I recommend this to anyone that likes super smutty (and kinky) stories, instalove, monsters, and some holiday cheer.

kris aka santa aka krampus is devilishly sexy. holly is so sweet and kinky. together??? chefs freaking kiss. did i mention his uhhhh liquids taste like licorice??
Smut smut smut right from the beginning! I love it! I also liked reading into the character's background. There was a little mystery in there too which was great!
My first book of the 2023 holiday season and I was NOT disappointed! This short, erotic festive novella was filled with naughty spice, fast-paced plot and a Krampus who knows what he wants and a woman who wants to give him EXACTLY that.
This was a shorter story, so the plot did take a bit of a back seat to the spice, but that REALLY didn’t matter as the spice is the whole intention of the book, and you will NOT be disappointed!
There is a bit of everything sprinkled in this book from the more vanilla, to NOT so…in fact, much more licorice flavoured to be specific…
This book does contain a few themes that would be considered triggering, and most of them are on the sexual spectrum. I have listed the main ones below (most of which are mentioned at the beginning of the book by the author)
━━ † ━━
⚔️TRIGGER LIST⚔️
— Light BDSM (with soft Dom/sub elements) — Wiccan symbolism & rituals — Light impact play (spanking/whipping) — Sexually degrading petnames — Snowballing — Voyeurism & exhibitionism — LOTS of Dirty talk — Graphic sex between human & monster — Size difference — Pregnancy (in epilogue)
━━ † ━━
“Getting Kinky with Krampus” was a great, short erotic novella that’s perfect to get you into the festive spirit! Filled with all the delicious spice you could have on your Christmas list and a Krampus who MIGHT give it to you, if you’re a good girl!
This book is a great addition to Tabitha’s collection of short standalone monster romance novellas and I can’t wait to read more in this series! 4/5 stars!

Place anyways. Let’s just dive right into it, people. This was a weird one. I LOVE weird. I love the absurd. Can’t get enough of it actually. And this MF monster romance had the right ingredients, thought they didn’t bake together in the best way at times.
That said….. just know going into this novella you’ll have to:
1) be able suspend your belief *heavily* - and not even bc of the whole existence of a monster! That was not the hard to believe part… it was the events of the story itself… and I realize that may sound weird out of context but IYKYK
2) able to breeze over a few very - and I mean EUWWWW GROSS - cringey moments, that again, have nothing to do with the monster peen or kink dynamic, but completely irrelevant aspects of the story.
Summary: Holly, an event planner, is hired by the new sexy, rich, enigmatic man that has moved into town. He introduces himself as Kris, and he is an absolute smoke show. These two are drawn to each other and seggsy times happen. Their kink-lite dynamic comes naturally, and it is always such a joy to read an FMC that is THIRSTY AS HELL and not ashamed of that.
But then ya… Kris is Krampus. His ding-dong tastes like licorice and he has a forked tongue. Sooo….
Things kind of go off the rails for a little bit after the fun moments - but again, suspend belief etc etc as mentioned above 🙃 and you will have fun.
a young party planner in a quaint small town gets hired by a handsome newcomer and the two immediately begin fucking - and also, he is krampus and they are destined to be together. i know that's not much of a summary but, like, that's really the gist of it. listen i didn't go into this with terribly high expectations, i was just hoping for some fun, absurd monster porn, and while i technically got that, i wanted more. it's labeled as bdsm but really all that amounted to was some spanking. it takes place in the 50s but it truly felt like the author didn't even try a little bit to.. make people sound like they were from the 50s. there was some sexist shit that i found really unsexy - krampus tells the protag "you will bear my child" etc. spoiler - after he knocks her up they joke about whether or not the baby will inherit krampus' liquorice flavored cum. not great! also personally pregnancy/baby shit is not something i want in smut books. enormous turn off. i will say that there were a few bits that were so outrageously ridiculous that i laughed out loud, which was fun. if you're in the mood for some silly, fairly vanilla monster porn with an absolutely deranged plot, i recommend this for sure. for me, 2/5.
This was a totally over the top erotically charged story. From the moment that Kris and Holly meet there is this sizzling energy that practically radiates off the page. The way that Holly responds to Kris' demands and the ultimate trust she has in him is intense. Then there comes the rest of the story about his true origins and finally hers as well. What I think was the biggest shocker to me though, was when I got to the final chapter and read the date. I then went back through the story so far, and realized that I naturally set this in my head as being in today's time, but nowhere in the story did it indicate that was the case. In fact, there were subtle clues all along as to the time frame it was set in. To me that's a great trait of the storyteller to immerse you so much in the story that it seems to flow through time and mold into something that it wasn't ever intended to be. I truly enjoyed this story and it was my introduction to this author. I'm looking forward to reading more by her in the future.

You've navigated to this page. You know you're reading reviews of a book called Getting Kinky With Krampus. You've seen the amazing cover. Hell the words MONSTER SMUT are there in big letters. You know exactly what you are getting yourself into reading this book.
This story is 100% what you are expecting in terms of tone. It's a fun, pulpy story that's just asking to be made into one of those late night movies on one of those channels that may or may not exist any more. The plot was, quite honestly, a wild ride. Everything that happened completely worked with the type of story this is, and yet I consistently did not see it coming. The salmiakki? The ritual? I don't want to spoiler the plot for you, but I was chuckling away reading this.
An enjoyable lighthearted smut read. With a recipe for mulled wine at the end! I received an ARC of this book and am leaving this review voluntarily.
Holly Winters the towns event planner was just living her life day by day. That all suddenly came to a standstill when a mysterious handsome man moved into the vacant mansion sitting on the outskirts of Evergreen. The attraction was instant and the lust between Kris and Holly was magnetic. Little did she know that their paths have crossed before and she will soon learn Kris isn't just Kris, but also has a little monster in him.
This Christmas Novella is perfect for the winter season. If you love monster smut you won't be dissapointed. The lore storyline around Krampus was fantastic also the surprise of who else Kris is was such a refreshing take. The romance between Kris and Holly felt natural and never forced. Honestly you can't go wrong with any of Tabitha's Monster Smut series, I've loved all 3 and I'm hoping for more in the future! 🤞🔥❤️
Well this Krampus holiday erotic novella started off as a close contender for a five star. There was some fantastic smut at the beginning of the book, and the premise was intriguing. However, this story went off the rails fast. It just kept getting more bizarre to the point I could not even enjoy it anymore. If the author had kept this at just a simple Krampus novella it would have been so much better. It's like the author couldn't decide what backstory or inspiration to go with so they did all of them. Without spoiling it all I can say is that Krampus turns out to be more than just Krampus but also many other mythological/pagan creatures/historical figures. If you don't care that the story goes off the rails bonkers then I'm sure you'll love it, but I thought it needed to be edited down. Even some of the tropes just felt rushed or out of place.
Look, you can’t be throwing out “good girl” like this and expect me to be able to focus 😆 Seriously, this was a great Krampus read and the first one this month!
It dives right into the smut with just the right amount of setup for both the FMC and MMC. I mean, that’s what we’re here for, right? And it gets DIRTY… even I was clutching my pearls at some points 😅 I also learned a new term… snowballing. My eyes were definitely saucers at that point 🫣
There were some turns in the story that I wasn’t expecting and while it didn’t put me off, but I was a little hesitant about where the story was headed. The MMC is sweet and clearly loves the FMC and once the fated-mates trope fully came into play, I wasn’t surprised- if anything I was relieved because it explained some of the insta-love.
If you’re looking for a quick and dirty Holiday smut with a smidge of story and HEA, this is for you! Definitely check your triggers before reading!
We played more into the praise kink than I usually go, an amazing amount of primal and impact play, and dabbled in some daddy kink, which I am not super into, BUT I really enjoyed it! This may be one of my favorite Christmas Krampus novellas and I definitely suggest it to others!
My only note would be that I would have actually liked for this to be a tad bit longer so that we have more time to get into all that Kris is, his role, Holly's role, their past, etc. The world is really interesting but we skip by it. It also would have been nice to see how Holly really works through things other than a call with the bestie (which was pretty realistic tbf).
Overall, this was a very enjoyable lil Krampus smut!
I went in not knowing what I was getting into and this Krampus story was so much more than expected and full of spice. With it being just over 100 pages, the pace was quick but I loved all of the holiday, Christmas and pagan, lore that was sprinkled throughout. And when party-planner Holly met the new resident, Kris/Krampus, sparks flew immediately, hot and heavy. And the spicy scenes had the heat turned all the way up, monster fully included and appreciated. At first I was a little thrown by the speed of first meeting to insta-lust but it all made a lot more sense by the end of the story. This was a great first Krampus read of the holiday season.
Firstly, I apologize for the late review; holidays are hard, but Krampus is harder. This book was a fantastic, spicy symbolic, dark and whimsical read featuring contemporary Krampus and our other lead, Holly. Holly is a sweet, kind event-planner for their town of Evergreen.
The imagery of their festivals and events were amazing, and I loved the dichotomy of Krampus and Holly, as well as the scenes were chef's kiss. I appreciated the focus on consent, Krampus or not!
ARC via Booksprout and I am happily and voluntarily leaving a review.
I’m not the biggest fan of monster smut, but I am open to it and sometimes they surprise me. This one didn’t and absolutely did not work for me. In short, this is because:
- very minimal story with no explanation, development or cohesion. - Spelling/grammar mistakes. - Boring smut scenes that took up half of the 100 page length. - very poor use of the setting, atmosphere and time period. Why was this set in 1953 when it had zero impact on the story, vernacular, culture or clothing? - liquorice…
This isn’t the first Krampus smut I’ve read, it probably won’t be the last, but it was unfortunately the worst in my opinion.
You should already know what you are getting into with MONSTER SMUT listed on the cover..... Such a fun 🌶🌶🌶 holiday read featuring Krampus. Monster smut pulp fiction is becoming one of my favorite genres now 😂 This is book 2 in the Monster Smut series, and can't wait for the 3rd! Quick read with all the steamy, cringe smut that you don't want to own up to reading, but secretly enjoy 😉.

This is the second Monster Smut novella I have read, and this one was at the top of the spice charts for me. Reading the cover, you should already know what you're in for. However, I would definitely read the content warnings if you are not okay with reading about certain kinks. If you're like me and nothing phases you, then I would definitely recommend checking it out. One thing I really enjoyed was getting both the gentleman and dom side of Kris. You could just see how much Holly means to him, and he would do anything to make her happy.
I typically love monster romance but this one fell flat for me. The story jumped a bit and didn't make sense. For example - one minute she drank mulled wine and set the cup down and in the next paragraph, she had it in her hand a took a sip. I love a good spicy story line but the lack of details like that drives me crazy.
I did enjoy the pagan lore and traditions. I loved the idea of a small town embracing all that the season has to offer but this book could use another round of edits.

I always read some Krampus Spicy Stories this time of the year and this one just checked all the boxes.
The MCs connected even though they had a little time together. We had praise k!nk, primal and impact play, which I adore. It also had some daddy k!nk, which I love. And very good written spicy scenes.
I really wished it was longer cause I wanted more of my daddy Krampus!
But all in all it was really good and I definitely suggest it to others!
A smutty, fated mates holiday romance that was easy to read.
Holly is an event planner in a town with unique winter festivities. Kris is new in town and the one who helps her when she slips on the ice. He's got a bit of a Jekyll and Hyde thing going on.
The holidays are about to get spicier and more magical than she ever imagined.

Getting Kinky with Krampus is a fun, quick, and spicy holiday romance novella. I had a bit of a Krampus obsession in the 6th grade (long story), so I was overjoyed to see a spicy novella dedicated to this mystical creature.
There's quite a lot to love about this novella. It's fully of holiday cheer, flavorful substances, and witchy vibes. You'll definitely learn some new kinks in this read! I loved how Tabitha spiced up this novella in some unique and unexpected ways and even incorporated the iconic birch rod.
I lowered my rating a bit because everything happens so fast! Of course, I expected a quick pace as it is a novella, but I never expected the relationship to develop as far as it does in such little time. However, I really enjoyed reading this and I'll definitely be adding Tabitha's other novellas to my TBR.
Thank you Tabitha for allowing me an ARC in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
This was such a cute spicy Xmas read! I really love the revelations of the main character coming to fruition and her embracing her true nature/fate. Sometimes I can be cringed by instalove scenarios, but with this involving old magic/rituals it definitely made a huge difference in that delivery. Absolutely recommend to anyone who loves a monster peen and a sweet HEA!.
