King's Disciples MC #0.5

Jace: A King's Disciples MC Prequel

Rate this book
Getting dragged into his half-brother’s fucked-up world is the last thing Jace wants. Not that he has a choice. The beatings are one thing, but having to do criminal things to stay on Ronin’s good side? He’s not so sure he can do that, even if it’s the only way to survive.

There isn’t much about his life that makes it worth living, though there is one biker that catches his attention. Jace knows better than to read into Ares’ kindness but how can he help himself when Ares looks at him as if he truly means something to him?

As he falls deeper in love with Ares, he finds himself shifting between wishing Ares would feel the same and fearing that he might, because there’s no way for them to be together. If they tried, someone would surely end up dead.

Ana Night is a writer of suspenseful gay romance. She’s an avid reader who has loved the written word since she discovered it. When she was a kid, she never went anywhere without a notebook. She was always writing, be it in the backseat of the car, between classes in school, or by the pool on vacations.

Ana is a self-proclaimed expert in hugging, people climbing and especially ugly dancing. When she’s not writing, you can find her with her nose buried in a book, singing and dancing, watching her favorite TV shows, or creating book covers.

Ana lives in Denmark where she spends most of her time running from her ninja kitty—that one goes for the ankles—and getting lost in the woods with her horse.

Who Knew!

Ares remembered Ronin mentioned a brother but he'd never seen him. Jace had been suffering at the hands of his brother since his parents died. Ronan hated him like he did his mother. When Jace turned 18 he thought his brother was going to kick him out, but instead he brought him motorcycle and insisted he prospect for his MC. This was his nightmare come to pass, but there was a light at the end of the tunnel and that was Ares. Ares was the most beautiful man he'd ever seen and when Ares touched his hand he didn't want to let go,Ares felt a strong need to take care of him. Take care of him he did, spending his time making sure Jace got his cut because his brother was crazy and it got worse after he killed their previous president.Being gay in their present club was a no no, but Ares wanted that boy in the worse way and before it was all said and done hopefully he'd have him.🤔🤔

I loved learning all about how Jace and Ares met and all that they dealt with when Ronin controlled their old club. Jace was never given a choice because of his brother and Ares was the only person who even saw him. They both did what they had to so that they could survive and when Ares had a chance to save everyone he jumped at it. This story definitely answered a few questions I had about them and made me want to re-read the whole series again.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

Jace
Jace was an innocent.  Ronin was a lunatic.
Never caring for his brother, the only thing Jace was good for was for Ronin to take his anger out on. Ares, VP of the Henchmen kept an eye out on Jace ensuring his safety.
As Ronin spirals out of control, Ares formulates a plan to deflect, take those he knows want to leave, and join the Kings. A shootout ensues, Ronin dies, and Jace is free but does he want to be with Ares knowing what he's capable of, even though he's in love with him?  This is a prequel to Ares so grab Ares book too and find out about Jace and Ares

Jace's Freedom

Have and Ares story begins the series but I wish it was published before most of the series was out. The good thing is that's its been a long while since I have read it so I'm doing something I rarely do, rereading a book/series.

This book is the prequel to The Knight's Disciples series. It's the story of how Jace and Ares first met. It was so good and made me want to go back and read the series over again.

I always wondered what happened between Jace and Ares and how they met. Well, the wait is finally over!

Poor Jace got dragged into something he never wanted and things only got worse. His life wasn’t easy yet one person in particular, made things bearable.

Ares took matters into his own hands to protect those he cared for but at what cost? Read it and find out!

Great prequel which answered a lot of questions.
