Struggling with inflammation effects more people the. You realize. I wish I would have found this book sooner in order to have a better balance on my health. I found the author using positive recommendations to help me feel my best by following her guidelines .
This book was okay, but it seemed more like at every turn of the page, you were being shamed. I am sure this might work for some people, but this is not as helpful as I had hoped for.
Extremely surface level overview of some things that calm inflammation. You'll have to find other sources for much of what she mentions as she mentions much of it with no detail. It's like 100 pages, big font, etc. Much better books out there.
You'll unpack helpful and detailed information throughout this read. Like, I knew I needed to get adequate sleep, but the info in this book told me why and how sleep relates to my overall health and wellbeing. And I knew I should get healthy, but this book covered the details about why certain foods caused inflammation in not only my gut but my brain as well! This information is a tool for your health success. You'll learn ways to regulate stress, strategies to help you choose anti inflammatory foods, and so much more! It can be overwhelming at first, but trying one thing at a time makes a huge difference in your overall health.
2024 bk 51. A decent introduction to the world of inflammation reduction. I've implemented a few of these, thinking about others. I was impressed with the list of ideas that are supportive of positive mental health and self-care. I loved that she took examples from beyond the United States. I also enjoyed the way she broke down the different groups of foods that are helpful for different reasons - and as a result tried a new avocado recipe just this morning. While I understand the need for and the temptation to do so, I wish the author had refrained from asking readers to review her book as one method of creating positiveness and helping to reduce personal inflamation - she does this several times. If she had only stuck to a general - write reviews for what you read and like. That so disrupted my intense interest that I had to give it 3 stars instead of 4 stars.
This book has truly been a big help! I can't tell you how often inflammation affected my lifestyle. But this book has helped me adjust to make my life more enjoyable! I definitely recommend this book!

Dr. Tidwell’s overall approach is practical and easily understood. She explains in detail why her recommendations are important and I can tell big differences in just the two weeks I have been following her roadmap.
I am eating, sleeping, and moving better. I have more energy and able to get more accomplished in a day. My mood has improved and I can feel optimistic about the future.

If you suffer from chronic inflammation, you are most likely tired of it. Tired of not feeling good all the time and don't know what is wrong. Good days and bad days. If you pay attention to what she is saying in this book and you follow it, you will see a huge difference. Everything she says here has been proven by Dr's and by science! Be your own health advocate! This is the first step! Educate yourself! This is a wonderful place to start
This book talks about how inflammation is not evil, but it is a vital part of our body’s way to defending itself to injury and sickness. Chronic inflammation does not have to be long-term. You can take control. This book helps you understand key factors to help you take control of your body again. Your gut is a powerhouse that can affect everything in your body. Poor diet and stress can affect you negatively in your gut. This book gives great examples of ways for relieving stress and also gives examples of foods that was great for inflammation.
The book is quite practical on how to lower inflammation. Didn't go too much into depth re science but great tips if you're just starting out. I think they are all straight forward to be honest and not sure much of the tips here are particularly secret as the name suggests
Having recently found out that a lot of my pain and discomfort has been caused by inflammation, originally thinking it was my years in construction, wear and tear. I had to read this ebook and the information, carries everything I had learned about myself and more an excellent read I highly recommend to those who wake in he morning with sore joints.
If you want to know how to balance your gut health, increase your immune system, and feel better then this is the book for you. I plan on using this as a reference guide as I am suffering from inflammation as well. I recommend this book!
Book had a lot of good tips for things to help with inflammation and how you can help yourself. For me though I’ve read multiple types of books and so I knew most of the information provided. For beginners this is great!
