ONE CLICK AWAY is a spicy contemporary romance novella about a stressed chief editor, a talented junior writer, a grumpy cat who owns the bed, and one perfect fake relationship.
Lincoln William Blake III’s life goal has been to take over his family’s magazine. He’s dedicated his entire adult life to showing his grandfather he would be the perfect successor. When the retirement announcement finally arrived, Lincoln didn’t receive his promotion. Instead, he must prove he’s a family man before he inherits the family legacy.
Georgiana Lopez can’t convince her family that she’s finished with her ex. They won’t listen to reason, so she posts an online ad, looking for a fake boyfriend. She never expected her insensitive, self-important boss would respond. Lincoln might be one of the hottest guys she has ever seen in her life, but that doesn’t give him any right to critique her work harshly.
How can she fake date someone she hardly likes?
Lincoln’s intention was only ever to encourage Georgiana’s natural talent to help her grow as a writer. He never considered his delivery could push her away. What started out as a business arrangement somehow transforms into the realest relationship either of them has ever experienced.
Are they brave enough to take the leap?
ONE CLICK AWAY has explicit sex scenes not suitable for readers under the age of 18. This holiday romance includes an office setting, a fake relationship, high spice, low angst, no third act breakup, and a boss/employee dynamic too hot to resist.
This was such a quick, spicy and fun workplace novella! It is a holiday novella but more just set around the Christmas period rather than it being actually festive so it can be read any time of year.
I was worried about this being too fast paced as it is only just over 100 pages long, and although it is, I think the build up happens in a good ratio to how long the story is. It helps that we get the background of Lincoln and Georgiana having worked together for a number of years prior to the events that unfold.
I really enjoyed this, the spice is *hot*🌶 Lincoln is pretty swoon worthy and such a gentleman. It was nice to read their conflicts and initial impressions quickly resolved through communication.
Although this is a spicy quick read, I think it highlights some important topics surrounding difficult and unhealthy family dynamics and how unsolved problems can lead to trauma in adulthood. It was something that was handled well, without rush, where there was such a short amount of pages to do so.
Highly recommend to anyone who wants a quick read and enjoys: 🏢 workplace romance 🫶🏻 enemies(ish) to lovers 🌶 all the spice ✨ fake dating 🥰 protective mmc 🗣 good and clear communication

This book was a good read by a great talent. The story moves you along with energy, not wasting space on a single page but never feeling too rushed.
The characters are so likeable, even the meanest ones came around in the end. It's a cozy read with some devious spice tastefully sprinkled thoroughout and I think will be an enjoyable time for anybody looking for a charming uncomplicated romance story.
Wholeheartedly recommended purchase. Your next good read is only One Click Away.
Let me tell y’all, this is a MUST read for lovers of office romance 💘
The chemistry between the love interests flows so naturally. Pacing is quick, but not too quick. Misunderstandings are brief because this couple communicates so well! The fake dating arrangement makes so much sense for them and the spice had me blushing.
This was such an enjoyable, spicy, and quick read. Their dynamic was fun to watch and Diaz captures their relationship in a way that felt very authentic.
A delightfully fun and spicy quick read! Beautifully written, with compelling characters who suck you right in and have you rooting for them from the beginning. Really looking forward to reading more from this author!
I won a giveaway and recieved this book from the author! I don't normally read a lot of romance/spice, but I found this novella to be a quick, entertaining read! If you're into office romance, you'll probably love this.
One Click Away is a delightful short romance story with sensible leads and a FMC who knows what she wants and is willing to put herself out there to get it.
This was a cute wee Novella! I genuinely enjoyed the characters and for once I wasn't on the FMC side right away! I liked both and to develop a relationship in so little words is not an easy thing to do and do well! I like that it wasn't drawn out about how their relationship developed and that their initial impressions were overcome quickly. It was a natural, non forced chemistry. It would have made an excellent longer book also I think, as I could imagine the build up to their feelings could have had some great escapes within. It was a really enjoyable read and I did it in one sitting as it pulls you in!
