I'd call this more of a romance/drama type story rather than a mafia romance. I say that because other than the male lead saying he's the leader of the Brat a in New York and there's bad blood between him and his cousin there really isn't much mafia action, business or drama going on.
The author's writing ability is good and the two main characters are well developed. If you are looking to read a romance this would be a good read. If you want the excitement of mafia wars and business with romance this wouldn't fit the bill.
This storyline isn't what I was expecting and the story telling falls far short... First the pregnancy doesn't even make an appearance until the last 25 pages and the whole story leading up to that is kinda unbelievable... The artist is ok but the way she is portrayed is very... Well its not a strong character its like a teenager wrote the story without a clue... Do or would I think a chauffeured car in 20?? Would have a curtain? Yep got that completely wrong, maybe if he was being driven in an antique limo... I can't imagine that as it probably wouldn't be bullet proof. That's just one unbelievable mistake. The artist (I honestly don't remember her name) then knowing the cousin is out to kill her actually believes someone she doesn't trust and supposedly out sprints (supposedly Bratva muscle guards) yeh... The author clearly was fantasizing without any research... It would have made more sense if she got the guards to go with her... And Peroxide?? why would anyone who's supposed to be shot and dying want that... Yep the story makes the woman out to be kinda ditzy and the guy is kinda lacking too I kept thinking he should be calling his guys to get too her when he thinks his cousin is at her apartment and at least taking his driver in with him... But this BOSS is like a teenaged wannabe. The author should have built a few more characters and READ a few more mobster stories to get a clue, they rarely are about just the Boss he usually has brothers, cousins, guards, drivers, kids, uncles, mothers, fathers, best friends, and allies and that just the characters on his side... Then there are the enemies... If this author wants to write a great story they need to build a better character and all the characters to go with the roles... I was expecting to have a story where the Boss maybe didn't believe they were his or she hid them and he found out... So it would have him with his twins in the story not just them being born... The story is about an artist in New York struggling trying to make it... A rich guy buys her painting and helps her to sell her paintings for a huge amount... He just sorta happens to be a Mobster. Its not about the twins at all. Thinking on it 3* is probably too many maybe 2*. But if I only read the parts about the art and her and him at the very beginning it had potential to be good... Until the portrayal of the mobster got warped and the artist turned silly.
MMC/FMC- Lev and Eliza POV- 1st person dual Genre- Mafia Romance Sub Genre- Bratva Heat- 🌋🌋🌋☄️🔥 (1🌋=2☄️=4🔥). They do the things early and often. Safety: Y. Not only is there no cheating or s. violence, there’s no cliffhanger. HEA. Triggers- Violence, Explicit Erotic Content. But if you’re not expecting these, this is your first time reading a Bratva Romance. Tropes- One Night Stand, Instalove, Surprise Pregnancy, Starving Artist, Billionaire, He Ain’t Heavy- He’s My Bratva. What I liked- this is an entertaining book with some nice moments, like when he found out about the pregnancy or saw the ultrasound, and when she accepted him despite his criminal proclivities. What I didn’t- the bad guy might as well have been wearing a moustache to twirl and a neon sign that said “SKETCHY CHARACTER”.

Firstly the charcters are just not it. She is annoying and weird He is too possessive (he doesn’t let her out of his apartment for a week and she just accepts it…)
Secondly there is literally no plot Like idk if the plot is that they have twins, but that’s in the title soooo…
Thirdly the writing is bad Sooo many grammar mistakes
Lastly the book took like an hour to read and it was a waste of time
small town girl Eliza meets Lev and their spark is instant but if only she knew the type of man and world he came from, the danger shes in and not just her but their twins too! well written steamy opposites attract desires bravta, babies romance!.

Quick, enjoyable read. Well-written prose, pacing perfect for the unfolding plot. Just annoyed the pregnancy didn’t come until the last 27mins of the audiobook and the twin babies didn’t come until the Epilogue—even though it the focus of the title. Also, the peroxide bit was dumb.
Out of all of the Bella King books I've read this is the most unlikely couple. I believe that is what makes this book so good. She's the quintessential good girl. And he is the typical bad guy. I love you morally gray guy.

The author has given us a heart pounding older man/younger woman story that pulls us into the lives of Lev and Eliza. The story keeps us turning the pages with connection, secrets, danger, action and steam.

Love Mafia!!! Loved reading The Bratva’s Twin Babies. Once I started reading this book I couldn’t put it down because this was a binge read for me. Lev found a jewel with Eliza and he got so much more out of it too. Loved their story and the ending!!
I like this book. It is well-written and has quite an array of things that take place. The characters are both strong and of course, they fall for each other. There are some steamy scenes, a shoot-out, and a happy ending.

The storyline was a good one. Lots and lots of grammar errors. Assuming proofreading is no longer done. Some of the dialog towards the end was right out of a 40's movie romance drama. Somewhat corny and old-fashioned. But the original story was a good one.
An entertaining older male, younger woman mafia read. The story will hold your attention all the way through. This is the story of Eliza a young woman and the man she falls in love with Lev. They are from different worlds but they make it work. A good read.
Loved this book very fast pacing and did not disappoint. Good storyline and chemistry between the characters was on fire. Can't wait to read Bella's other books. ❤️
A short mafia love story about how two opposite individuals fall in love through art and make a life and home together for their twin boys. There is sunshine after the rain.
This is a well written action-packed story filled with drama that kept me glued to the pages from start to finish. I enjoyed reading and connecting with the characters in this fascinating story.
Interesting storyline right from the beginning! A starving artist and a mobster meet and its instant attraction! Excitement mixed with danger and love.
