“It`s all about the choices we make, about what we can and cannot control.” Charlie has a sweet tooth and a fantastic friend in his philosopher cat, Sokeetee. Find out how it all comes together and enjoy the super-duper flourless chocolate cake recipe included in the book. There`s also another lesson for Charlie to learn, but with Sokeetee`s help, he`ll manage that, too. Through understanding about things you can control and things you can`t, children are given the opportunity to fill out some questions at the back of the book, along with additional activity pages to print out.

Charlie and his philosopher cat discuss why Charlie isn't running to practice for the race he entered. The book uses this story to teach about what we can control and what others control. It teaches these in an easy manner. I would recommend this book to parents.

Great Book

I picked this book for my 7 year old son and he really enjoyed it and it taught him a lot about things he has control over and things he doesn’t. Just as well as life is about the choices we make.
