That Kiss…

Gorgeous New York socialite, Nora Ellington has been waiting a very long time for her happily ever after.

Handsome billionaire Jamie Oakley thought he’d had two happily ever afters in his life. However, neither lasted long, and both ended in tragedy. He’s not about to try it again or put his children through the trauma Jamie has learned from experience undoubtedly will come their way.

And he’s made this decision even if the woman who’s become his constant companion is a woman he loves straight to his soul….and wants with everything that is him.

But then, one night, Jamie loses control and kisses Nora.

He can’t go there.

She can’t go on without it.

They’ll never be the same.

Or will they?

Kristen Ashley was born in Gary, Indiana, USA. She nearly killed her mother and herself making it into the world, seeing as she had the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck (already attempting to accessorise and she hadn't taken her first breath!).

Kristen grew up in Brownsburg, Indiana but has lived in Denver, Colorado and the West Country of England. Thus she has been blessed to have friends and family around the globe. Her posse is loopy (to say the least) but loopy is good when you want to write.

Kristen was raised in a house with a large and multi-generational family. They lived on a very small farm in a small town in the heartland and existed amongst the strains of Glenn Miller, The Everly Brothers, REO Speedwagon and Whitesnake (and the wardrobes that matched).

Needless to say, growing up in a house full of music, clothes and love was a good way to grow up.

And as she keeps growing up, it keeps getting better.

Y'all be lying so bad in these reviews 😂😂

We have Jamie and Nora, Jamie is Judge's father and these 2 have made appearances throughout the previous books. They've known each other for years but have ended as each others plus ones in a very close friendship since they are now both single. They met when Jamie was married to his first wife who was a an addict. He remarried and his second wife died. Nora was married but her husband was a cheater so she's divorced. In the years since Jamie and Nora have become basically joined at the hip until one kiss fractures their friendship. Through the machination of their loved ones they find themselves together on a yacht where they are finally able to mend fences and shortly after be together for real.

******
If you left out all the mega rich ppl bs this could've been a novella.
When I tell you the boredom was unreal throughout pages and pages of blatant, snobbish wealth. Not the cute kind where the folks were rich but humble no no this was dress for dinner even though we are the only ppl on a mega yacht besides the crew kinda rich 😑🙄......pages and pages of it
The romance itself was so stupid, they love each other....but because Jamie loved his 2 previous wives which ended badly with his last dying he's determined not to feel that loss again.....so they're basically a couple without intimacy for years......until HE finally decides to give them a shot
Other rich ppl bs with his dad and her ex and that one wicked lady that's been there in the background for however long 🙄
I can't remember their ages being mentioned but they are parents of adults, the H actually becomes a grandfather in this one

Just..... absolutely NO

As a whole, I’ve enjoyed this series so much. It took me a quick minute to remember who Nora was in relation to the other characters, but Jamie Oakley was unforgettable. I loved them both together. I love the found family in this series. There are so many characters left that could get books… I truly hope this isn’t the last in the series!

Nora and Jamie were basically on track to being together, until they kissed. Jamie said it was a mistake- he wasn't over the loss of his second wife. The two are at odds when their meddlesome kids and friends trap them on a boat together to sort out their differences. But even once they give love a shot, coming back home doesn't mean things will be easy. Between Jamie's stepdaughter's father, Jamie's dad, Jamie's biological father and Nora's ex there is plenty of drama.

What I liked about this was the sensitivity to starting a new relationship with a widow while paying proper respect to the deceased. My best friend died and I see her husband as part of my family, but I hope some day he meets his own Nora- someone to respect her memory, but also let him continue living. This book did that amazing.

That being said.... Nora was too good. A bit of a stick in the mud, but too perfect and a bit boring. Jamie was a sap, but likeable. I liked him as a leading man. I was sad, though, that their romance took a backseat for most of this book. It seemed more about everything else than them at a certain point.

I think the problem as a series progresses is in an effort to have a reunion of characters and introduce new ones for book 7, you can lose focus on the main couple. That unfortunately happened here. Their dramas were actually a bit dully played out. Just lots of talk, very little togetherness- especially for a romance. It seemed more like a gossip catch up on all the characters and very much filler.

Okay, plus, in full honesty.... I kept calling this the menopause book!!! The title. Anyone else think that?

I'd like to that Blue Box Press, Get Red PR, and Kristen Ashley for my free advanced reader copy. My review is unbiased and opinions my own.

Sooooo..... I'm not going to give this book any stars in this review, maybe at a later time I might reread, at the moment doubtful but you never know.
It was just a bit boring tbh.
The couple have featured at times in the background both have been married before with grown up kids and have been their plus ones at events just as friends though the heroine was in love with him.
He basically won't allow himself to go there as the blurb hints at.

The issue I've had with the series is the vast amounts of money they have so yachts, designer labels, matching outfits.
I get there is an audience for this but its just so out of touch to the everyday girl.
Though it gives the author an opportunity to go into great detail about outfits, decor etc, I think I skipped 3 pages on my kindle and it was still onto the next room.

The book is mostly about moving on from previous relationships, dealing with exes and grown up kids from the previous relationships, it was a bit lecturer...y
And yawn not that much about the actual couple at certain points, they got swallowed up by the other characters..
I almost didn't finish it which made me really sad because KA has been the author I reread the most in the past.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

It’s always a good day when I read a new KA book! Two friends who have orbited around each other for decades finally break the seal on the tension—will their friendship and romance remain, or will they burn up in the launch?

Characters: ★★★★
Plot: ★★★
Pacing: ★★★★
Writing style: It's a KA book, so keep this in mind as her writing style is Very Dramatic and you either love it or hate it. (I love it!)

Embracing the Change is the 6th book in the River Rain series, and unlike the 5th book, Fighting the Pull, this one is definitely a series continuation and should NOT be read as a standalone.

Nora Ellington is a New York socialite enjoying her life as a divorcee with her adult children orbiting around her and her wonderful friend/family group filling her life with fun and drama. Her life is full, and she is happy.

Part of the reason Nora's life is both of those things is Jamie Oakley.

Jamie Oakley is a billionaire who's been happily married twice before and had both of those marriages end in tragedy. He's comforted his pain with his adult children, their successes, and the fact that his friend/family group is rich in love. He's happy, his life is full, and he's comfortable.

Part of the reason Jamie's life is all of those things is Nora Ellington.

Everyone in the River Rain family/friends dynamic knows about Jamie and Nora. They've been best friends and dating-without-dating for years. Their lives orbit each other and they're happiest when they're together. But neither one of them will break that final seal—you can't put the jack back in the box, after all, and both of them are too scared of losing what they have to try for something more. So they wind and wind that jack in the box tighter. And tighter.

But then Jamie kisses Nora. PING, goes the jack in the box.

Now Jamie and Nora have to deal with decades of history, deep-seated love, and reconciling with both of their problems before their foundations crumble under the strain of the "will they, won't they" cascading down around them.

Ahhhhhh, it's ALWAYS good to be back in the saddle with a KA romance. These novels have something addictive in them, folks, and long-time mutuals of mine know that I can't be stopped—if it's KA, I'm there, and I'm not leaving until I've devoured it all (and likely more than once).

The River Rain series is one that I was late to the party for, which I know is shocking based on what I just said. But I missed it when it was first released—I'd been making my way through KA's backlist and knew I'd get to this series eventually. Now I'm here, albeit with half of the playbook as I started with Fighting the Pull, and I'm having such an emotional time. This series is different for her and yet exactly the same.

The main difference is the sheer depth of the family/friend dynamics—this isn't like the Rock Chicks with one continuous line of friends getting their moment in the sun. This series is an entire blended family of multiple generations, friends, family, and others all mushing together into each book for a myriad of different set ups. It's dense! Which makes it kind of complicated, if I'm honest, and very hard for a newer reader to get into it and have a good time without making a detailed map of the family/friend tree.

However, the core of this story is the same as all KA—the romance is top-tier, the love is strong, and the sense of community and family prevailing over all gives me the warm fuzzies, every time.

Nora and Jamie's story has some bumps in the road. But not too many, and it's not that hard of a journey. They're adults, after all, and they don't have time for each other's B.S.! (A take that I loved and hated, as a person who lovesss her angst but agrees that sometimes it's not needed.)

Don't miss this latest installment. And if you're new to River Rain, start at the beginning with After the Climb!

Thank you to the author for my early copy in exchange for an honest review.

I tried. Honest. But it is not my cuppa.
They are maybe in their fifties and he’s had two wives he loved very much, she had one husband she loved but he cheated on her so she’s divorced. They’ve known themselves for decades. Not years, months. Decades.
So now they’re free and have this amazing friendship for years that never resulted in intimacy because he had lost two wives and is afraid he will lose her.
Jesus.
He’s a grandpa.
Learned nothing at all?
Like, life is transitory, short, unpredictable, you never know what happens next so you have to live fully every day of your life?
Because this is what my father in law is doing, after his heart surgery, planning his next cruise to Caraibi with his friends. Enjoying life completely.
While the hero is still uncertain.
Jesus.
I just can’t.

This is my first time reading Kristen Ashley and the River Rain Series, Embracing the Change Book 6, and the verdict…. I loved it! I enjoyed the characters and the very luxe vibe from the chapter headings that had the brand names I have always longed for, which added to the fantasy of this billionaire romance. I have always loved Kevin Kwan’s name drops and this had that too, not exactly the same vibe but definitely very luxe romance.

I read this book in one sitting and I was lost in Nora and Jamie’s story - their years’ long friendship not the insta kind, their history together with their families, and how they run in the same circles, really brought this story together. There was a lot of drama and complex family dynamics, which added to their romantic tension.

I enjoyed it, and I will certainly be picking up more Ashley books.

I have been anxiously awaiting Jamie Oakley and Nora Ellington's story. These two have been dancing around one another for a while. Everyone could see how attracted they were to one another, but for the life of them, they couldn't figure out why they weren't doing anything about it. Then, all of a sudden, they weren't speaking to one another, so with a little creativity, their friends and family put a plan in place to make them figure things out and hopefully act on what everyone else saw.

In EMBRACING THE CHANGE, we learn much more about Jamie's past and family life. I have to say the little twist that Ms. Ashley gave us makes so much sense on why Jamie and Judge are the way they are and A.J. is the way he is. A lot is going on within the Oakley family. Some of it has to do with Paloma, who doesn't get an actual ending, so I am wondering if she will pop up again at some point...maybe she will be the last of the 1001 Dark Night's Books, and it will end in a tragedy instead of a Romance. One could hope, can't they LOL.

"Another day alone with the man I loved, who did not love me."

Embracing the change is Jamie and Nora's story and what an emotional one it is. Two rich middle aged adults who have both been through the up's and down's life has to offer. Always having this connection since meeting, they become friends later in life. And while there has also always been an attraction on both sides, Jamie has never been willing to go there. He simply won't put himself or his family through the pain of what they've already been through, again. But that's all about to change, with one single kiss.

I must admit. I am not normally one for rich characters, who have live in employee's and discuss brand name everything. This series has a lot of it. These people have money. And a lot of it. But they have so much more than that. It's this one giant found family. And the love and care they have for each other is what has really grown on me most throughout this series. And it's what continues to draw me in each time. There were so many tender beautiful moments that brought tears to my eyes while reading. And that is not even getting into the romance of it all, which was just as beautiful.

Jamie and Nora's love story is one that's meant to be. It's about finding the courage to take a risk and love again. It's about supporting one another, and their combining families, through the up's and downs that come. It's a heartwarming story, with many feels, a splash of angst, a smidge of suspense, a few laughs, and even some great heat too. I've really come to love all these River Rain characters and I just can't wait for more in this series!! There are so many more great stories left to be told here for sure!

*This is book 6 in the River Rain series and while you could get by reading it as standalone, I think it's best read in order, as most of the series characters are present in this one. Thank you to the author and 1001 Dark Nights Blue Box Press for the ARC in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own and given freely.

This book was fine, just not my cup of tea!

I won the Kindle version in a Goodreads giveaway and made it through the entire thing, but I feel like I did it a disservice by not reading the previous books in the series. I’m not sure if reading those would change my feelings, but as it stands it just wasn’t a standout for me. The characters didn’t seem relatable (does anyone refer to others as “darling” so much???), and the plot was just too far fetched for me to get invested.

Two rich-as-hell, middle-aged legends who’ve seen life’s bullshit up close and personal. They’ve had this magnetic pull since day one, but Jamie’s stubborn ass wasn’t about to dive into the deep end—until one damn kiss flips his whole world upside down.
And that man was NOT ready to be hit with all the feels when he found out at the end how IDIOTIC he was to do what he did, and BOYYYYY did he grovel.

I need to mention that Nora is what I want to be when I grow up. Exactly as she is, VERY MINDFUL, VERY RICH, VERY DEMURE. Love her.

There are so many elements in this story that had me yearning of what they have. Like the "found family" vibes. It’s massive, chaotic, and full of so much damn heart that it’s impossible not to get sucked in. The tender moments—God, the way they made my eyes well up—I wasn’t ready for that. And the romance was downright abso-fucking-lutely breathtaking.

Kristen writes them knowing very well we can't have men like that in real life and it hurts if you ask me. This story has everything—heartwarming moments, a good dose of angst, a bit of suspense, laughs that sneak up on you, and heat that’ll set your soul on fire. The River Rain crew has burrowed deep into my heart, and I’m not letting them go.

A lire absolument

Kristen Ashley always delivers

I own every book she’s written. Love when she starts a new series. This book sews up endings to the prior book’s story ARC but opens up to future. If you have read this series you will not be disappointed. The only downside is that, for me, it’s sometimes hard to remember all the name’s & relationships as the sagas continue. Won’t stop me from reading what comes next!

ARC received for an honest review

You know what I really like about a Kristen Ashley book?

It is how we get more mature aged characters, issues that are more realistic to an old fart like me (don't get me wrong, I love the stories about those in their 20s, but the older I get, the harder it can be for me to really connect with them).

I have been holding my breath for the previous 5 books that Nora and Jamie finally get their HEA. Nora has been there for a long time, and I was along with her as she did what she was doing for Jamie and his family, all the while my heart was breaking for her as she gave up hope that she would ever get the man she loved in the way she deserved.

Now, this could be a stand alone, however there is a story line and characters that carry through the whole series. And even as someone who has read the whole series, I did at times get confused with who was who, what was what. I kind of needed my own murder board with all the characters and string connecting everyone - but that could also be my bookzheimers!

I adore everyone in this series- well, except a couple of people who I blow big raspberries at every time they are on the page.

It has been a while since I have really dived into a KA series, but Embracing The Change has me feeling like I need to reread the whole lot again.

Embracing the Change was an amazing story! I was thrilled to immerse myself back into the River Rain world and for Nora and Jamie to get their happily ever after and I was not disappointed. I loved the drama, the emotion, and all the bonds and love with their family and friends. It was sweet and heartfelt I couldn't get enough. I love how Kristen Ashley always makes me feel like I'm a part of these characters' lives, right there with them, feeling it all.

I loved Jamie and Nora and really getting to know them. Nora is rich and owns it but she's also all class and has the biggest heart and is good to her core. I loved her! I adored Jamie, he's the perfect combination between old school and modern and I love how deeply he cared for others. I felt for him because of the losses he's suffered and the drama with his father, so I was incredibly happy that he finally had goodness coming his way. I loved learning about Nora and Jamie’s friendship and just how far back it went, and watching that bond and their attraction grow into so much more. I felt for Jamie as he fought his feelings and loved them coming out on the other side. These two together thrilled me to no end!

I have loved all the characters in this series as well as the new ones introduced in this book and the different connections. I loved the bonds and strength of their family and friends and how they’re all there for one another. I loved the relationship that Nora formed with Jamie's daughter Dru and I loved Jamie getting to know Nora's kids. I loved the updates on other couples, what's going on in their lives, and the hints of what might be brewing between a possible couple. I also liked getting small bits of Corey and Rhys since they are very much a part of this series.

There were great building details, development, and different levels of drama and it all kept me hooked. I loved all the dots connecting. There were also several fun moments and humor woven in just when I needed some levity. This was a fantastic story filled with an outpouring of love and emotion that made my heart feel full. I loved Jamie and Nora finding their way to one another and embracing their love. All the healing and acceptance was a beautiful thing. Another five-star read from my favorite author!

Man, too much description about the clothes they wear, the gang and the background.

Is it really necessary to explain what everyone is doing at the same time? I. Don't. Care.

Do you have to explain everything about the supporting character? Again. I. Don't. Care.

I'm so tired by all these unnecessary explanation by the time I finished reading this book, I just wanted to hurl.

Show, don't tell, please.

Yes, she's kind. We get it. She's classy. We get it. Do you really have to tell us all the time?

Another thing is I feel like the writer wanted to tell us so much about how cool/rich her characters are but I'm just not getting that. It gives a trying too hard vibe and I'm so over it.

5 - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

"I want to kiss you so badly, it's a goddamned ache."

Embracing the Change is the sixth novel in the contemporary romance series, River Rain. Each novel is an interconnected standalone set in the same world but following different couples. In this novel we follow Jamie and Nora. Jamie and Nora have been in each other's lives for over decades through the ups and downs of life. Scarred from past loves and fear of losing a friendship has kept them from taking the next step despite their connection being powerful...until a kiss changes everything. Will they embrace the change or will it all crash and burn around them?

This book was such a comfort read!

Jamie is a man who has experienced hardship with his first wife's addiction and his second wife's terminal illness. He knows the devastation this had put on his children and he fears going through it again. His friendship with Nora means so much to him and he's pretty much with her as it is, just without the spice, and watching him navigate the idea of more was a delight. I loved his honesty and bluntness and that once he's in something he fully commits. This is a man that embraces casual intimacy and I adored it.

Nora is a woman who is rich and she holds nothing back. At the same time she is kind and giving and she has such a beautiful personality. I feel she spends quite a bit of time just accepting her lot and life and being grateful with what she has - including just a friendship. Being with Jamie gives her a chance to blossom more and I was cheering her along as she was able to really bask in a relationship that truly fulfilled her.

This book does contain spice. I would say 3 spicy peppers out of 5 spicy peppers. It takes some time for spice to happen (just about half the book) and it really fits the rhythm of the story. Once the spice starts it happens steadily with sometimes it being explicit and other times fading away. I find the spice is fun and passionate and fits the personality of this couple. There is some playing and exploration in different locations throughout the home.

"Have you seen your chest?"
"...Yes."
"Well, allow me to inform you, as a heterosexual female, that it would be nigh on impossible to simply make out, as you so eloquently put it, with you and your chest, and not have that get out of hand,"
..."I could put on a T-shirt."
"I've seen it already this morning. It's taunting me now. You'd have to put on a snowsuit to take my mind off it."

The story itself is a bit of a soap opera. You have the initial premise of Nora and Jamie kissing and navigating what that means but there is also the flashback leading up to why they are connected. After they are together the drama focuses on Jamie trying to deal with his father and his father's current fling in a bid to take back the family home while Nora is dealing with her ex-husband coming back through the woodwork. There is also Jamie's daughter's biological father hanging around, Jamie's son connecting more with the birth of his first kid, and Nora's son hitting a tough patch in his marriage. Essentially, there is a whole lot of family drama happening but it never is all at once so I just felt the pages flow as we moved along. Also these people are RICH and these are variations of rich people problems and, for me, that was extremely fun. I thought we got plenty of slices of life, fun banter, humour, intimacy, and love that had me giggling and smiling. Now this book also deals with addiction, death, loss, and illness so take care of yourself. The ending is truly sweet and this book brought everything together beautifully.

Overall, Kristen Ashley once again reminds me why I adore her writing so much! I need more!

Thank you Blue Box Press for this arc!

Though it is book 6, it can be read as a standalone!

This book definitely dropped me in a world I’m unfamiliar with. I could not tell you Gucci from Prada, unless I’m directly reading the label. The rich really do live in another world. However, there are some good among them, which is exhibited by the found family in this story. They are very wealthy and kind of just drop money at everything, but Nora and Jamie, and their children, have sweet and tender hearts and will do anything for those they love, and fiercely protect them too.
The first half felt almost like a different novel, but we had to get the relationship set up for the remainder of the plot so I understood. The tension was steamy, when Nora and Jamie were on the outs. They are both very in love with each other, but Jamie refuses to let himself have her after the death of his wife and also his other failed marriage. He just doesn’t want to give his heart anymore, not realizing it’s already too late.
Nora is very patient, and is there for him no matter what. Once Jamie is like “fxck it” and they embark on relationship and embrace the change, it’s like they’ve been together forever. Then the two tackle together obstacles facing their family and they form a strong united front, which I loved.

I adore the River Rain series, and this was a satisfactory book in that it showed that Jamie and Nora are finally getting their HEA.

I love that they are a mature couple and, as such, not so prone to "wild hairs." When they got together, they were in it with no further relationship drama. It was also great to see Jamie find his way back to love again. Like all KA stories, it's rarely an instant love, and it turns out that they already had a history together. I am so invested in their relationship that it was just so nice to see them get together and the whole River Rain crew band together with them.

I highly recommend reading the first few books to get acquainted with the other characters. This provides more depth to this book. I love how we get a peek into the other couples' lives and their HEA.

I can't wait to see where KA takes us next and hope she will tackle the younger crew as I am dying to see their HEAs

Thank you BlueBoxPress, and Kristen Ashley for the arc - I thoroughly enjoyed it

Read this as an ARC, otherwise would have read it tomorrow on release day lol. This series does not work as standalones, with this being the sixth book you really have to have read the previous five books. And the first book especially has heavy content warnings for suicide so be aware of that. This one being Nora and Jamie, older main characters with fully adult children, having dealt with the loss of their marriages in so many sad and different ways. Dealing with family dynamics while being extremely hot and rich. I teared up a few times lol. I always love the dynamic of being mad at the hero right at the beginning of the book, getting that completely resolved in the first half of the book, and then the rest of the book the couple being so solid while building a life together. CW spouse with addiction issues, spouse death from cancer, spouse infidelity, death of a family member, birth complications, abusive family, all are mentioned, nothing extremely graphic or extensively on page.

Another winner in the River Rain series. I absolutely loved Jamie and Nora’s story. It’s been a long time coming and it didn’t disappoint. It had sass, laughs, love and drama. I really enjoyed the scenes with Dru and Nora and look forward to seeing more of them together.

Jamie and Nora were clearly the stars of the show, but the River Rain gang is all present. I didn’t expect some of the more serious moments but they really added to the story. I couldn’t put the book down.

I cannot wait to see who is next!

Thanks to Kristen Ashley and Blue Box Press / 1001 Dark Nights for an ARC! I honestly might just read it again now.

Satisfying addition to this series. This is Nora and Jamie's story. Nora is a divorced socialite mom of three kids. Jamie is a recent widow, divorcee and father. Nora and Jamie are an older couple. Nora is very stylish. There is a lot going on here. Paloma's evil self is back and she is one again messy asf. Nora and Jamie circle around each other for years. Their kids intervene with a Parents Trap type scheme to get these two together. And it worked. The book details the merging of their lives. Pretty good.

I liked this better than the other books. It’s very easy to read, there’s no weird Kristen Ashley kink, but it is all getting very repetitive. I’d like to see a different kind of heroine. The characters are all getting very samey.

I never thought I would ever describe a Kristen Ashley book as boring, but here we are.

This book was basically about designer clothes, houses, shoes, and how filthy rich the characters were.Everything else was just a space-filler.

In the playground for the rich and famous Jamie and Nora have been circling each other for years.

“Leave it to Jamie to find a fancy, rich, city girl with a heart of gold.”

This is there HEA!! There are so many ups and downs in this story. It’s like a roller coaster of emotions. It’s all worth it in the end there love triumphs. Another epic KA love story.

Strike Three:

This book was average for her latest books, nothing special, even if she managed to compose some characters who were completely shallow and completely nice at the same time.
It was funny to see how maybe she read so many bad reactions to the preaching in Avenging Angel that she felt she had to appraise & moderate it with new and more mature speeches.
Also, the final felt rushed, as if she had a maximum wording, a need to achieve a quick resolution and to do it on the run, cutting short and a bit abruptly.

But in the end, as per usual in her last books, she could not leave the condescending/patronising teaching away and had to try to make us do the exam about the book just read: "Did you notice Nora decided the chapter headings? Did you enjoy them?/ What was your response to Judge’s reaction.../..."

To me, evolving to lower quality writing that sometimes tends to be word salad, incredibly long and boring descriptions, patronising or condescending content, no HEA guaranteed anymore and preaching-teaching tendencies had more weight at the end than the modification (to better) of the "come here" macho BS of the first books. And that's all, folks.
So, I'm sorry to say that I'm done with this author. I've read nearly all she has published and I may end the couple of series I'm reading at the moment that I've read more than the first book, for sure I will read the final books of the old serieses if KA ever ends them, but nothing else. No more new series, no going on with series that I only read the first book, no more nothing else.

It was nice while it lasted, but now it was going south too quickly. Goodbye and good luck, Kristen Ashley.
