The Penthouse Affair duet, containing The Two-Week Arrangement and Seven Nights of Sin, has been bundled together for the first time for one low price.
Dear Sexy AF Intern,
I know you don't particularly care that I'm the CEO of this company, and you're just an intern. I also know you're not impressed by my power or my wealth, and that's fine.
You think you've got me all figured out from working alongside me for two weeks, but you don't know me. Not really.
You don't know that I'm a single dad to twin toddlers, or that those two little girls matter more to me than this entire hotel chain.
I'm not interested in starting something deep and meaningful, but what I am interested in is the way your body reacts to mine when we're in the same room. You probably assume the concentration on my face is work-related, when in reality, I'm figuring out which I want more--to nail you against the wall, or to bend you over my desk.
While you're too disciplined to act on it, I'm not. And the night you stepped into my limo, all bets were off.

She writes swoony heroes, bold heroines, and stories that make you laugh, blush, and fall in love. When she’s not dreaming up new plotlines, she is a proud mom to two amazing sons and the wife of her real-life hero.
I thought I was going to love this audiobook as soon as I heard Jacob Morgan's voice. (Sex for the ears, I tell you.) But, no. I can officially put Kendall Ryan on my “do not listen” list.
If I could give an extra half star, I would. But 2 means "It was OK" and I really "Did not like it", which is a 1. I wanted to like it, but this was too much like a wanna-be 50 Shades. It was even set in Seattle for God's sake! Young, hot, emotionally unavailable CEO falls hard and fast for a virginal, straight-out-of-college beautiful and bright young woman who is penniless but determined to do things her way.
My first issue was the age of these two: totally unbelievable. So even if Dom gets the company because his brother died, why isn't his father still involved?? He's not that old. And WHY are they considering fresh graduates with zero experience for an executive position instead of MBAs or experienced candidates? It would have been much easier to sell this if Dom was 28 instead of 26 and Presley 24 with an MBA instead of 22. (Ages 30 and 26, even better!) Of course, the maturity—or lack thereof—shows in her (and his) actions. Take for instance Presley throwing herself at Dom in an effort to gain back his trust. Sure! Nothing screams "you can trust me while I try to manipulate you" better than crawling into an unsuspecting man's bed naked. STUPID and nonsensical.
The writing is as flimsy as the story and character development. We are fed little carrots that might lead to something interesting, but don't. Is someone (the frat boy intern) going to call the couple out for having sex and Dom showing favoritism? Are they going to get caught after Presley comes onto Dom while celebrating her "promotion" and they grind on the public dancefloor (which even elicits a cat call from some mysterious person)? Is the tech company guy going to come after them another way to get vengeance? No. Nothing interesting happens. Instead we get this constant on-again/off-again dynamic that plays like a broken record—and it's a syrupy, saccharine sweet pop song that rings false. Way too contrived, way too forced, overly dramatized, and not at all convincing.
This is sophomore romance. I prefer much richer, realistic, authentic stories. Cannot recommend. You'll get whiplash from how many times things go from bad to perfectly peachy in a matter of moments or back again. LAME.
loved both of these!!! characters? fantastic. plot? easily followed and ate it up. smut? wished there was more but what we got was hot period. and with me listening to the audio and getting to hear jacob morgan’s voice, straight perfection.
Apparently I had this on hold with cloudLibrary so I was happy to listen to it when it became available. I just love Jacob Morgan in everything he does!
I also have to add that the 2 main male characters names are Dominic and Oliver and those are my sons’ names so that was a bit weird for me, but once I got past that…
This was good! I went into it expecting a smutty good time without any substance, but I really liked this story and the characters. Dominic is a young billionaire CEO , heading up a hospitality company and Presley is an extremely intelligent, accomplished and hardworking college grad vying for a coveted position at Dominic’s company.
Dominic is Presley’s mentor and Dominic is immediately attracted to Presley. This is difficult for Dominic because he keeps his personal life very controlled, even going as far as to hire escorts so no one has to know about him and the fact that he’s a dad to twin toddlers.
This is more than just a workplace romance. It’s a single dad struggling to feel like a good dad and feeling like he’s unlovable. Presley is not an idiot looking for a good time. She’s an amazing employee and amazing sister. She does everything she can to pay for her brother to go to college. She falls hard for Dominic while Dominic struggles to accept her love.
Dominic is such a sweet dad and loves his girls so much. This was sexy, sweet and had depth!
My Review: The Penthouse Affair: Complete Series by Kendall Ryan is fast-paced contemporary romance. It is a two-part series.
Part I: The Two-Week Arrangement Part II: Seven Nights of Sin
About the Book: An intern and a CEO must work in close proximity to each other. They struggle with their attraction to one another from the start. Once they cross lines between their work lives & their private lives, they then make the decision to enter into a more intimate arrangement. The real trouble begins soon after. With family responsibilities, an accusation of corporate espionage, internal struggles related to love and feeling worthy to be loved, Dom and Presley find themselves at odds. But, what's that saying? Yes, the heart wants what it wants.
Things I Liked:
- I loved the adorable little girls. They were cuteness personified. The tea parties did it for me.
- Dom was a good dad. I adored the way he loved up on his babies.
- Presley was incredibly loyal all the way around. She was protective with her sibling, the girls, and even with Dom.
- The chemistry between Dom and Presley was insane. They both gave each other their firsts in a certain respect.
- I liked Oliver. He really won me over with the tea parties and with his concern for Presley.
- The narrators, Andi Arndt and Jacob Morgan, were top notch. I have heard them both before in other works and really enjoy their style.
Things I Did Not Like:
- In book #1, Dom had a turd-ish reaction to the situation Presley inadvertently found herself in. She was innocent and he was not willing to listen.
- The back and forth, yo-yo actions of Dom. (I know he was scared and scarred. That was no reason to treat Presley so abhorrently. The money thing and the walking away after connecting so deeply - those 2 events made me not like him very much for a time.)
My Final Say: This was a pretty solid read. I liked it. While I did not love how Presley tolerated the ridiculousness of some of Dom's actions, I understood her perspective. She gave him her treasure and that seemed to put her in an emotionally vulnerable place. She wasn't weak necessarily, she just "had her nose opened." (You guys know that saying. It makes a huge difference in what one is willing to put up with in terms of matters of the heart).
I could only give the story three out of five stars because the MMC in these books was absolutely infuriating at times, and there were so many times I felt like the story was rushed. At one point Dominic was talking about not wanting to remember ALL the memories he had with Presley in his home but at that point they had only been together there TWICE! These books are half the length of other romance books which makes me wonder why the author didn’t go into more depth with each of them. As for Dominic being infuriating, I cannot count the number of times he did asshole things and Presley just went along with it because she was attracted to him and wanted him to like her. It made her seem like a desperate teenager and not a strong independent woman as I assume the author was trying to make her out to be. Dominic did redeem himself in the end, but even that process was like whiplash. One minute he’s telling her they can’t be together and then she flips a tarot card over and he’s changing his mind without much of a conversation at all. Overall it was a good book, but I feel like a lot of that had to do with the narrators. I’ve always loved Andi Arndt and Jacob Morgan as narrators, and I have a feeling if I had read the book rather than listened to the audiobook I wouldn’t have liked the story as much.

The intention behind this series was good, but it fell flat in a lot of ways. The narrators did a fantastic job, I’m a big fan of both of them. But the series itself had a lot of issues. First of all, the MMC is toxic and really mean to her several times in the series and has half hearted apologies at best. The FMC basically allows him to do or say whatever he wants to her because she’s desperate to be with him, which isn’t appealing. There are hints at several tropes in this series (boss/intern, forced proximity, fake dating, one bed, etc.) but all are half done and not well thought out. I would have loved some longing/angst/build up, but the characters rush into physical contact in a way that didn’t make sense. There were many plot points that were half explained or not explained at all and I had to guess what was going on. There were times when I felt like the MMC was using the FMC and taking advantage of her naivety, which was disappointing. If the FMC was a friend of mine I would beg her to dump the MMC. I do not recommend this series at all.
The Penthouse Affair- This audiobook is a compilation of two of Kendall Ryan’s books: Two Week Arrangement and Seven Nights of Sin. I have separately reviewed both but will also copy and paste what I wrote about them here.
**** The Two Week Arrangement by Kendall Ryan is the first book in the Penthouse Affair series. It held my attention and was a quick listen. It ends with a cliffhanger, so you do have to read the second book to find out what happens (obviously, I will start next). I mean, is it realistic? Probably not. But I still found the storyline to be entertaining.
**** Seven Nights of Sin: This book finishes the Penthouse Affair Series. It also held my attention and was a quick listen.
The narration elevates this story into one that I kept listening to despite a few misgivings.
There were some jump the shark moments, and some parallels with Fifty Shades, but honestly that's a given the dynamic was a billionaire / young ingenue. Bear in mind this combination is two novellas, so the storyline has some gaps and plausibility moments, but this is also the world of romantic fiction, so at some point you just have to disengage and roll with it.
The billionaire's family issue was an interesting device that I haven't seen much of (trying to write this in a way that isn't too spoiler-y), and bonus points for the little Q&A with the narrator at the end.
If you're looking to kill some time with some easy distraction/romance, then this book has got you covered. If you're looking for something a little more challenging or thought provoking, maybe look further afield.
Dominic was a young father who had to grow up fast, losing a brother and being a Ceo didn't help either,he just didn't have any time for him self.In walks Presley a young woman who apply for the intern position and gets it but she spoons fall for the boss. They are paired for functions and etc and soon he sees something in her but pulls back and he does this over a few different times, but finally Presley has enough try to work around Dominic and avoid him if possible but with children getting bug,the splash of news that he pays for sex brings them closer but he still avoids the word called love,he finally opens his eyes and realizes he loves his intern.I got a kick out of Dominic and his first day of kindergarten and his fears!
Sex nectar??????????? ew Ok now that I have finished wtf. Ok first we have the weird dynamics. Especially after she lost his trust. Why was he so ok with letting her be so subservient when trying to apologize. That was not it. Next we have him inviting their homophobic father, her brother is gay, the dad apologizes and everything is just ok. He should have at the very least let her know that he was inviting him. Like what the hell. I can’t imagine the amount of emotions the brother experienced because of this. This wasn’t an awful book but I would not recommend.

Listened to this as an audiobook and I love Jacob Morgan but the story itself was just okay. I thought each character lacked emotional depth and there were a lot of holes and things that went unexplained. The characters were also very contradicting to each other and themselves. They were adults but used sex as a form of communication instead of sitting down talking like normal human adults.
I think if I wouldn’t read it without Jacob Morgan bringing the story to like I probably would’ve DNF’d
I loved this story. Although, I thought there were going to be more incidents of Presley to painted into the betrayal corner. But, I was wrong and it kept me waiting for the next shoe to drop the entire time. In the end I felt like “it couldn’t have come out this easy”.
This book is all over the place. Doesn’t know what it wants to be. Is it about losing your virginity, taming a wild man, scandal, hooking up with your boss? It’s an unfocused mess. Plus the avoidant MMC wasn’t book boyfriend material in my opinion. I kept wanting the FMC to just walk away from him!

This was boring AF! The story and the characters had no depth. The FMC loses her virginity and her responses to their “breakup” were just unrealistic. I found myself rolling my eyes a lot during this book. Spicy level is 1 out of 5

It was an easy read. I did like the change of pace with the single father plot. But it sort of abruptly ended. But...I'm always in for a HEA story. Glad Dominic the CEO and Presley the intern got theirs.
The pacing was a bit odd at times and things seemed to happen wayy quicker than normal. I have a feeling it was related to the book being shortened from individual books to a complete series but I'm not sure. It was still a fun story to read through and really heartfelt.
I like a random fluff nonsense book mixed in with my books. But this is bad. Like so bad. I hate reviewing a book so low because I know the author tried their best, but there is no way this wasn't just produced to get out. So bad. I could write my own novel of why this is bad.
Billionaire single dad. Presley is an intern. Dom is grumpy emotionally closed off . Of course spark fly and the bantrer and spicy is good. There is a twist and cliffhnger in first book . They do get their HEA in second half . The moments with his twin girls is sweet and heartwarming
