The author attended Xavier College prior to the commencement of his first career, as an accountant for a mining company. His second career saw him as a copywriter with a number of international advertising agencies with service in London, Asia and Australia.
Gerry eventually started his own boutique ad agency and production company, before retiring to become an author.Mr Burke is single and lives in Melbourne, Australia, where he is a retired horse breeder and golfer.
