Beautiful story

Red had written a beautiful love story for Avery, Lance and a tiny kitty.

When Avery arrives in the small mountain town where she might be their future librarian, she doesn't know what to think. Everyone is very nice, but she would be terribly homesick for her family and the only life she's ever known in Wichita.

As she starts to make friends and a certain Macallan stands out. Can she be brave, face her fears and let him into her heart when his profession gives her nightmares? The hunky fireman has his own demons. Will this be a short fling or a forever? All the feels. A wonderful story that I will read again.

This book has been a balm and warm winter blanket all rolled into one. Starring a sweet, loving, but anxiety filled heroine and the first member of a family in the possession of magic, talented, handsome genes, Meeting My Forever has taken me away from incessant rain, to gorgeous vistas and a delightful romance. Add in Moonbeam and, yes, we have a winner.
Red Phoenix has written a book that encapsules kindness, caring and vulnerability. Avery and Lance are absolute sweethearts, as is the town of Crested Butte. With delightful breadcrumbs enticingly scattered with promises of future stories, Meeting My Forever has been a delightful first course of a, hopefully, long, multi-course, meal. 💖💖💖💖💖

Meeting My Forever by Red Phoenix is the first book in her new series The Brothers Macallan.
I first read this author years ago when she released the first Brie book. Now she gives us a sweet heartwarming romantic story about Lance Macallan and Avery Snow. This is a great start to her series about the five brothers who live in the small mountain town of Crested Butte. Bram, Malcolm, Gavin, Finn and Lance, are each vastly different in personality but all very handsome. They have a reputation for being eternal bachelors so this series is about the women they fall for when they finally find the one.

The author starts with the youngest brother, Lance. He is a firefighter who helps his granny out at her motel on his days off and it is here he first meets the woman about to change his life forever.
Avery has come to Crested Butte for two weeks to determine her future. She has applied for the librarian position after losing her job in Kansas but isn’t sure she can handle living in such a small community. She checks into the motel and immediately feels the connection with the owners grandson. Right from the start the pair hit it off and the chemistry between them is intense.

After a series of funny interactions their feelings quickly develop. It is a bit insta-love but when you know, you know!! They both have fears over loving the other so decide a casual relationship is the best way to explore their connection. He has avoided a relationship due to his profession so wonders if she could risk loving him? She knows she will regret it if she leaves without exploring the intense attraction to him but staying would mean leaving her family. They both carry guilt from traumatic events in their childhoods and have secrets they have kept hidden. I liked how she sees the sadness inside him which he hides behind humour and courageous acts and how he helps her to face her fears. I found it very emotional when they tell each other their stories.

We learn a little about each of his brothers as Avery meets them and see the strong family bond between them all. There is a good teaser about Malcolm and the new baker and her daughter ready for the next book. Their Scottish father Leith was great fun and I felt sorry for all he had endured. There is also a delightful menagerie which complements the story but the star is Moonbeam, the stray deaf kitten, who has a massive part in the couple’s love story. The description of the town and the mountains makes you feel that you are there with them.

When a couple of terrifying events brings home to Avery how dangerous Lance’s job is, she worries if she could be the strong woman he deserves. The ending is everything you’d want it to be for this book lover and the man of her dreams. A wonderful true soulmates tale about a wonderful couple. Now I am really looking forward to seeing what the author has planned for the other brothers.

Disclaimer: I received this book at no cost from the publisher/author. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. I am leaving a voluntary review and all opinions are my own.

What an adorable little small-town rom-com this was. Red Phoenix is a new author for me and I will definitely be reading more from this author in the future.

Red Phoenix tells a great story. Her writing voice really spoke to me. I was so absorbed in this story from start to finish. The vivid world-building caught my attention and kept me engaged.

Avery is such a relatable character. She has so much character development because she is on such a journey. Lance was such a darling and I adored his family. The secondary characters in this story really stood out and added so much depth to the story.

I loved the banter between Avery and Lance. This romance is chock full of feels. Avery and Lance have an instant connection that is so tangible.

Overall, this was a fun, feel-good story that stood out and made me take notice. This book has the perfect mix of humor and heartfelt emotion. This is a story that will grab you and not let go. You'll fall so hard for these characters. I'm excited to read the next book in this series.

I received a complimentary early release e-book prior to release and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is the first book I have ever read by this author. The book had a really great plot and an awesome group of characters and also lots of some very hot scenes. The main story and the characters were very sweet and innocent and then the lights went out and the scenes very very, very hot. I really liked it but at times it was very jarring.

The main character, Avery, seemed very virgin and wholesome (She is a school librarian) but she also had some very hot thoughts, dreams and was the perfect partner for our hero, Lance. Lance is a very hot and sexy hometown man, the youngest of his brothers but also a farmer, fireman, and hotel employee. During the day he is the good boy who helps everyone whenever he can, and at night he becomes a very sexy and hot man that Avery can't resist.

Avery is a really brave character. There is a very big backstory on her and she has a huge fear for a really awesome reason. I adored how brave she was. Sometimes stupidly brave, but also very honest about it. I loved how she faced her fears and I loved how Lance is with her while she tries to overcome her fears.

Lance himself has some very big dreams that are very disturbing. He is working on learning to function with them and move on and enjoy the life and gift he has been given. And he is a firefighter that loves and adores his job and the life and family he has been given. I loved how each moment was celebrated and he saw life as this big gift. He was a guy with the biggest heart, and I loved watching him and Avery fall for each other.

With love comes some decisions for these two and I loved how they both saw love and life as this huge blessing. The author did a great job telling their story but also in us watching Avery and Lance fall in love but also have to decide where they want their lives to be lived but also how and with who.

Meeting My Forever by Red Phoenix
I was given this book by the author for an honest review.
I am a big fan of Red’s books. I have read so many and all of the different genre’s she has written in, I was excited for the new contemporary series. She promised we would love the brothers and she is 100% correct. She neglects to tell us we would love the boy’s dad, Leith, and I think everyone needs to be ready for this strong, lovable man who steals a few scenes.
I felt 100% connected to Avery in the first pages. I am TERRIFIED of the roads in the Rockies. I have also cried a time or two so we became besties INSTANTLY!! LOL Avery is a bit of a city girl but due to the lay offs she has to take a opportunity at a small town library.
Lance is a local fireman and works at grandma’s lodge when Avery steps in. The chemistry is off the charts from the beginning of the story. Lance is one of “THOSE” single brothers who no one thinks will ever get married much to the single town ladies dismay.
The story of the two was sweet initially and then got some spicey if ya know what I mean reading a Red story. I enjoyed seeing the couple grow and experience the insta love. I also liked seeing them both try to heal their trauma’s from the past together.
The story was super enjoyable. As much as I liked Lance, I am super stoked for Malcom. He will be a good read between his love of numbers and the single mom baker with her adorable daughter.

I was so happy to receive an ARC of Meeting My Forever, book 1 of The Brothers Macallan series. Red Phoenix has again outdone herself and captured my heart with this book.

First we meet Avery, a school librarian from Wichita Kansas, who was recently let go due to budget cuts. She has decided to spread her wings and go to Crested Butte, Colorado to see if she could be the town librarian. She is only here for a couple of weeks to see if can live in a small mountain town.

Here we meet Lance Macallan and his granny, Clara. Lance is the baby of the
family and a firefighter. Clara runs the motel in town and Lance helps her out on his days off.

Then we meet a white fluffy kitten, Moonbeam, that you can't help but fall in love with.

The sparks fly between Avery and Lance when their eyes meet and then again when their hands touch as he hands her the key to her cabin that she has rented from Clara. He tells her where things are in town like the diner, etc. Avery meets the Macallan brothers one by one and falls in love with them, as well as the town and its residents. There are fears, childhood memories, secrets, and trauma that Lance and Avery eventually share with each other. They attempt to help the other deal with these things as they fall in love and learn to trust.

There are tears, fears, laughter, bad puns that will have you in stitches. Red has given us a different kind of series than her previous one. This first book is a wonderful, touching story that makes you love the town and its people. I am looking forward to the books about the rest of the Macallan brothers and where life will take them.

Meeting my Forever is the first book in The Brothers Macallan series and is a cute and charming story. I am so excited to be able to start a new series by this author.

This is Avery Snow and Lance Macallan’s story. Avery is a librarian, and her job has been cut in Kansas due to salary cuts. Lance lives in Crested Butte and is a firefighter. Avery has applied for a job in Crested Butte. She is visiting the town to see if that is a place where she could live. This is an insta-love story but then I believe in them. I have lived my own insta-love for 47 years! It can happen!

I loved the cute motel where she stays on her visit to Crested Butte. As she walks into the motel there is a sign “Welcome to Punny Peaks We’re bear-y glad to see you.” She is to stay in Room 12 the last cabin and it is called the “last resort”. How perfect is that? BTW my husband would love to live in a small town, and he does love his puns!

There are so many nuances that I loved reading this book. There was a mention of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (a favorite movie of mine and a great childhood memory. There were other little things, but I will leave that one as a favorite of mine.

This book had all the feels! It is emotional and funny, there is suspense too and I am so excited because I know there are four more brothers that need their story too. BTW Malcolm’s story is next, and I can’t wait to read his story! I give this book 5 STARS and would give it more if I could. I absolutely loved Meeting My Forever. It's a great feel-good book!

I received a copy of this book from the Author for an honest review.
I love Red’s stories and reading the adventures her characters go on. I was so ready for a new adventure and she did not disappoint. I have fallen in love with the Macallan Brothers and honestly cannot wait to read all their stories. I cannot wait to see all these Brothers fall and fall hard.
This is Avery and Lance’s story the librarian and the HOT fire fighter. Avery lost her job as a librarian due to cutbacks and decides to leave her family to see what small town living is like. Avery has to face her fears in this small town of Crested Butte but meeting Lance helps this a little. Lance also has things in his past that he is trying to overcome. I loved watching these two mesh together and help on another to overcome their fears. This book is filled with the most wonderful love story. Really with fairs, games, flowers, kittens, flying, family and seeing if fears can be overcome you cannot go wrong with this book.
I not only fell in love with Avery and Lance but I adore his grandmother and his dad. The kitten even stole some of my heart and I am not a cat person. I am so invested in this story that I need to know more about the Macallan family not just one of them but all of the brothers and even their dad and grandma. This was the best start to a new series and I cannot wait to see what wonderful adventures Red has in store for us with this story.

The new series by Red Phoenix introduces us to the Macallan family in Crested Butte, CO. I am excited for this new series because one for the things I love the most about her writing is the character development. While this book, focuses on Avery and Lance, the youngest of the Macallan brothers, the rest of Lance’s family is introduced. Even though they are minor characters in this book, you still learn about the others. She also drops little nuggets that I am sure will come back in a future story.

Avery Snow is a librarian looking for a new job after she loses her current position due to budget cuts. After applying for the Town Librarian job in Crested Butte, Avery visits for two weeks to decide if she would like living there. Trying to rescue a cute little white kitten, Avery is aided by Lance in the rescue. They bond over the kitten and painful secrets each one has.

Lance is the youngest of the five brothers and worries about becoming romantically involved due to the inherent danger of his job. Is this bond between Lance and Avery strong enough to make them want to throw caution to the wind and overcome their personal reasons for not wanting to commit?

After this taste of the Macallan’s, I am eager to find out more about the rest of the family. You will not be disappointed if you give them a try.

Red Phoenix's "Meeting My Forever" is a delightful romance novel set in the charming small town of Crested Butte, where the tight-knit community plays matchmaker for two unlikely souls.

The author skillfully weaves a tale that explores the complexities of love, commitment, and the fear of getting hurt. Avery, portrayed as a strong, independent woman, faces the dilemma of choosing between the familiarity of her old life and the promise of something new in Crested Butte. Lance, despite his status as an eligible bachelor, grapples with his fear of falling in love, fearing the potential upheaval in his well-ordered life.

Red Phoenix excels in creating a vivid and endearing setting, making Crested Butte feel like a character in itself. The town's quirks and the sense of community provide a rich backdrop for the blossoming romance. The supporting cast of characters, each with their unique personalities, adds depth and authenticity to the narrative.

"Meeting My Forever" is a heartwarming and enjoyable romance novel that successfully captures the magic of small-town love. Red Phoenix delivers a feel-good story with relatable characters, making it a recommended read for anyone looking for a comforting and uplifting romance set against the backdrop of a tight-knit community.

This book is not at all like the author’s Brie series. I like it better. It was a wonderful new beginning to a new series about the 4 Macallan brothers in Colorado. The first brother we meet is the youngest, Lance. There is Avery, and the kitten Moonbeam in an exciting scene. The book is told in first person narrative alternating between Lance and Avery so we got to see their relationship grow from the point of view of both. I enjoyed reading this first of the series book and look forward to knowing more about the rest of the brothers and their father in the future. I read an ARC book and am now looking forward to reading the epilogue that the author says she added to the book. Avery and Lance were wonderful characters and I hope to hear more about them in the future. This book may have slight triggers for those who have a fear of heights along with Avery. She is working on overcoming this with Lance’s help. One thing I didn’t care for was, for me, the overuse of the word smirk. It wasn’t that detracting from the story. It just appeared too often for my personal liking. I would recommend this book to readers!

“In the smallest towns you find the biggest hearts.” Growing up in a small town like Crested Butte, and now living in a similarly small town, this quote resonates with me. Red Phoenix wrote these small town people so excellently that you might like to live there.

After the end of the Brie series, I was wondering where the author of my favorite series ever, would go next. And now I know.. and I was NOT disappointed in the least! I love this authors character definitions and her storylines, and I will always consider her a favorite.

When Avery arrived in Crested Butte, she caught my attention quickly. There was so much about her that made me want to know more. The more I read and paid attention to what she was saying and thinking, had me questioning what happened to her. The more I learned, and got to know her, the more I wanted to know. In comes Lance, a fire fighter and handsome to boot.. made me want to know him more as well. This makes this story so, so good.

If you enjoy interesting characters, a special and lovely story-line, and so much to learn that you just want more and more.. Red Phoenix is an author for you to try!!

Meeting My Forever by Red Phoenix is the first book in her new series The Brothers Macallan.

Avery is considering a new job in a small town, quite a change from Wichita, KS. She was recently let go as a school librarian and came across a job opening for a librarian in the small town Crested Butte, CO, where everyone knows everyone, and your business too. At first she isn't quite sure what to think of everyone knowing who she is, she's a bit taken back.

The Maccallan family members include, Bram, Malcolm, Gavin, Finn and Lance. Lance, is a firefighter, and he also helps out at the Inn his grandmother runs. Lance see's Avery one day trying to get into a storm drain - where she's taking off her clothes to get into the drain. Lance goes inside of it instead, rescuing a tiny ball of fluff, a baby kitten! Lance names her Moonbeam and is taking care of the little ball.

Avery has met each of the Maccallan brothers and more members in the town, and she falls more in love with it each day.

Will Lance be able to give his heart to Avery even though his fear that she might lose him one day due to his job?

I did receive a free ARC book in exchange for an honest review.

MUST READ SERIES!!!!! Red Phoenix does it again! This is the first book in a new series and genre by one of my favorite authors and I was hooked on page one. What a fantastic story of small town life and love that cannot be denied. The story has love and intrigue and absolutely wonderful characters! And the humor! It had me giggling and laughing throughout as I fell in love with these characters. This book pulls you into their story from the very first chapter and you won’t be able to put the book down!

As a book lover myself, I was totally immersed and found many similarities with the main character, Avery, which made the story all that more meaningful to me. She astounded me in how she works to overcome her fears in life. A role model to us all. The relationship that Lance has with his family is so heartwarming. The way the story is told, you feel like you are a part of their family.

If you love wonderful characters, laughter, intrigue, and maybe a few tears you will love this story! Cannot wait to see what’s in store next for this small town!

5-star review of Meeting My Forever (The Brothers Macallan #1) by Red Phoenix

I was beyond excited when I heard that Red Phoenix was releasing a new series.

Meeting My Forever is Lance Macallan's story and if this book is anything to go by, then the author is off to a flying start with this series. I love stories set in small towns such as Crested Butte (I just love the name) and this book ticked all the boxes for me.

Avery is a librarian without a library after recently losing her job. When she is offered the position of librarian in Crested Butte she travels there to see if she can make it her home for the next couple of years.

What she doesn’t count on is firefighter Lance and the feelings that he brings her. In Crested Butte. The Macallan family are leaders in Crested Butte and as she gets to know Lance and the family, she begins to feel like she could make it her home.

Leith, Lance’s dad is a wonderful character as is his granny, Clara; they stole the book at times, and I cannot wait to see them in the other brother’s books. Lance is captivated by Avery from the moment he meets her and the sparks fly. As they get to know one another it was entertaining to watch their relationship develop.

Will a misunderstanding break them apart or could they have found lasting love? One click and find out.

Red Phoenix has taken my heart yet again.

What do you get when you have a Sexy as Sin Fireman, a Librarian looking for a place that feels right to her and a kitten that is stubborn? Well if it’s written by Red Phoenix you're gonna get a Rom-Com that is a banter filled, spicy satisfactory good time!

If you take a look at my reading history and preferences you'll see not many Rom-Coms are on my favorites list. Until now that is.

Red Phoenix has captivated me with this spicy, heartwarming, fun story. She hit me with all my romantic feels and played my heart in the most fabulous way.

Avery and Lance are fire so it's a good thing he knows how to control the flames that these two create together. When their together its like an inferno. They are just ment to be each other's accelerant and it's glorious to see.

I for one am so excited to continue with The Brothers Macallan Series . I can’t wait to get back to Crested Butte (LOVE this fictional town 😂) and see what Red has in store for us next!

I started reading Red's books when she wrote the Brie series. When that sadly came to an end I couldn't wait to see what Red was going to do next. WOW... Lance, Avery, and Moonbeam will warm your heart and soul. When Avery decides to go to Crested Butte to check out their library and decide if she could live there for the 2 year contract she falls in love with the little town. She's not sure if she can be away from her family but there is so much charm here. When she meets Lance Macallan she's overwhelmed with his good looks and his personality. Lance has never been one to want to settle down. After losing his mom he's not sure he wants to take the risk of losing someone again. Especially watching his father and brothers after the loss. Then cute Avery comes into town and he's just wowed by her. She captivates him and she is all he can think about. These two characters will warm your heart and give you all the feels in this new series. I can not wait to read about the other brothers. Amazing job Red. 10 stars for me.

I love that Red Phoenix is starting a new series. We have the Macallan brothers. There’s five brothers and our story starts with the youngest Lance. He’s a local fire fighter in Crested Butte.
Meeting My Forever is heart warming story about Avery who’s just lost her librarian job. She’s one brave heroine she’s afraid of heights, but she’s determined to over her fears by driving up the side of the mountains to reach the very isolated town. We get to meet a few of the towns interesting people. A captivating story with Avery and Lance have an instant attraction, with both knowing it can never go anywhere. Lance has alway felt he’s on borrowed time he refuses to fall in love, the pull between them is so strong. I love these two they’re perfect for each other as they learn home is where the heart is. You’ll fall in love with lil Moonbeam who’ll steal your heart too. I have voluntarily read and reviewed the wonderful story. I can’t wait to read about the next Macallan brother.

Avery comes to Crested Bute for a librarian job and this is where she will starts her journey towards something new. The small town is full of characters which I am sure we will be getting more acquainted with as the series evolves. She meets Lance, gorgeous, tall, kind, firefighter who saves this helpless kitten but he has some demons that come lurking in the night. As Avery tries to get used to small living, she also takes to task to conquer her fears. Height being the worst, she also has some demons to conquer and by confiding with each other they will both find some solutions to their anxieties. Lance Macallan is the youngest of the five brothers and I can’t wait to see who will fall next but I have my suspicions. Heartwarming, sweet complex characters with real issues but in the end Loves conquer all! A new direction for Red Phoenix and like the Pied Pipper, I will follow her wherever she leads me!

For those of us who have followed Red Phoenix for years, I was excited to be part of a group to read an ARC of her first book, 'Meeting My Forever', in her new series "The Brothers Macallan". I don't want to give anything away in the storyline, that would be unfair to other readers and this author but I will say this: At first, it reminded me of a Young Adult storyline, and it's possible that was what she was trying to portray. It's a refreshing, almost clean, read, yet it gives all the personal emotions and quirks that ensnare me in a romance and surprise me when the sexy times happen. The personal journeys of both Avery and Lance are heartfelt by both the characters and this reader. This is one of those reads that easily pulled me in and didn't give me the option of putting it down until it was finished. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. Am I looking forward to the next book in the series? Without a doubt.

Meeting My Forever is the start of a new series about a group of the sexy, single Macallan brothers who are going to meet their match, and I'm already so very in love with every last one of them so I"m over the moon excited for more. This story surrounds Lance Macallan, a mouth watering hot firefighter who helps his Granny on days off running the motel in town. Avery lands in his neck of the woods as she applies for the town librarian position, and to see if she could live in this small town. She also ends up staying at his Granny's hotel, and from their first super cute meeting, the sparks are flying like crazy. I absolutely loved this funny & heart warming story, and certainly couldn't get enough of this couple. I also loved the supporting cast with an adorable kitten who stole the show more than once as well. This story left a huge smile on my face, and I'm super excited for more (hopefully in the near future) so yeah, I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I loved this sweet and cute read by Red Phoenix. This is my first book by her outside of Brie's world, and she did a wonderful job!

Avery, a librarian, is down on her luck and jobless, so she checks out a new town away from everyone she knows to see if it's a good fit for her. She checks into a quirky and quaint place and meets Lance. She never expected to experience the feelings and sparks when she met him but felt it's an added bonus to this small town.

Lance is a local fireman who helps his grandmother run her cabins for visitors in their small town of Crested Butte. When he helps Avery to her cabin, he can't help but notice her and is intrigued by the new visitor.

Their story starts out with boy meets girl and blossoms from there but when things start to heat up, and boy do they get the flames burning, feelings get in the way and Avery isn't sure she can be happy in Crested Butte. They both have tough decisions to make, and you don't want to miss out on the journey. I can't wait to see what Red has in store for the rest of the Macallan Brothers.

If you love small town romance, cute kittens, hot firemen, and spice, then you don't want to miss out on this adorable and amazing read.

I went into this book completely open minded. I adored it! I absolutely loved the depiction of the landscape, town and buildings. I enjoyed the deeper backgrounds in main characters and even some background characters. I couldn't put my book down and by the end kept scrolling looking for more. I loved the every day real life aspect that you can relate to. It allowed me to fully immerse in the story and bond with the town and characters. I landscape was so detailed that i could almost picture it. I love moonbeam and how she was placed in a way that was an important part of the story yet made sense at the same time. I loved how emotional it made me as I read the story and felt for all the characters even minor ones. I look forward to future books and getting back to Crested Butte and it's town folk.

Absolutely loved this book! I came away from this book wanting 3 things. 1 I want to visit Crested Butte Colorado. A place that is so welcoming and friendly. 2I want a white kitten, 1 blue eye, 1 green and deaf. I will name the sweet thing Moonbeam. And 3 I can't wait for the next book in the series and see what the other McCallan brothers stories are. Can they match this hot fireman and sweet librarian? I found myself cheering for Lance and Avery from the start. You can feel the sparks between them and just enough spice. They've each had pain and sadness in their past and of course misunderstandings because of not saying what they really mean. I laughed, cried, felt sad and fell in love with this town, this family, this couple and damn that sweet little kitten stole my heart. Great story Red.... it mademy heart happy.

Well, I am super excited for this new series by Red Phoenix! Holy moly does Red know how to write a great book. I've been a fan for years now, so I was pretty excited to be able to read a new series with Scottish MMCs, a picturesque location and the first FMC being a cat loving book nerd!

I really enjoyed the story building. The characters are very likeable, there's a lot of good humor, and there was little miscommunication! Thank you, Red! You did this story right by making these characters vulnerable and able to talk to one another. This felt like a more realistic story than some I've read lately.

I can't wait to see what happens with the other 4 brothers and get back to Crested Butte soon! Thank you for letting me read this advance eARC as well ♥️

When Avery has to search further afield for a new job after being let go due to cuts at her beloved school library little does she know the mountains she will climb! The story evokes some strong emotions as she spreads her wings and tries conquering both her fears and the hunk Lance Macallans, the youngest of five brothers. From the moment they meet you, as the reader, are captured in their journey some of it scary, other times it is so funny and the deep physical and emotional feelings have you rooting for the pair. Oh and of course there is Moonbeam the rescue kitten who is adorable.
The first book in this new series I feel is certainly setting the bar high for the rest of the brothers MacAllan and can’t wait to read their stories.

Meeting My Forever is the first book in Red Phoenix’s new series. What a way to start it off. I instantly fell in love with Lance and cannot wait to learn about the four other Macallan brothers. They are handsome, sweet, endearing and how can one resist a man in a kilt?!

Crested Butte is the perfect setting for two hurting people find love. It’s a town one would go to, fall in love with the small town feel, the community and maybe even a hot Scotsman and never want to leave.

Lance and Avery, both who suffer from events in their past aren’t looking for their forever. However, life has a different plan for them.

With love, heartbreak, tears, fire and an adorable little kitten named Moonbeam we follow Lance and Avery on their journey to forever.

OVERALL: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Main Characters: Lance & Avery

If you are looking for a super cute, sweet, chill, fun read, this book is for you. Lance and Avery are both wonderful characters, and the kitten Moonbeam was adorable. They shared a connection right from the beginning, and the way Lance was there for Avery during her difficult moments made me melt. I felt for Lance with the burden he carried, I loved Avery was able to be his person. The small town and its residents were a character in itself, it felt like a warm blanket. I did also love the little Easter egg we got, if your an OG reader of Red. The introduction to the other four brothers has defiantly got me intrigued, all of them with such different personalities should make this an entertaining series.
