Fun guide for all Pickleball lovers
The book is well-written and suitable for the whole family, generating interest in Pickleball, a sport that has become a craze in recent years but is, in fact, not new at all. Growing up in a country with long and hot summers, I vividly recall family vacations at the beach, where Pickleball was a must for both young and old. The book covers the fundamentals of Pickleball, explaining why it is a sport that not only entertains and provides exercise but also develops meaningful connections through sharing this stimulating, easy, and extremely enjoyable activity. In the book you'll also find numerous YouTube video links that provide valuable insight and great fun. The anecdotes that are scattered throughout the book are an added bonus. Highly recommended!

Tweeners,Pickles and Dinks, OH my!
When my grandson asked me if I knew anything about Pickkeball, I knew I was in trouble. It's his new love & it's all he wants for Christmas. I was lost. Then I found this book and saved. It's a wonder guide told in easy to read conversational form, perfect for teens and even old granny's like me. It covers everything from the history of the game to actual play techniques and court etiquette. Even better, there are links to short training videos inside. There's even a bonus section of trivia. I'm no longer afraid of his questions, but I'm not so sure about playing the game. Too bad I can't stay in the kitchen. This is a perfect choice for anyone interested in the game.

Highly entertaining and informative pickleball basics. There is so much to enjoy in this book from the basics of how to play and keep score, to the equipment, beginner strategies, overcoming obstacles, and tournament preparation. This book is packed with everything I ever wanted to know about pickleball, but what I like most about the book is how it's written. It's funny, insightful, easy to understand, full of fun facts, pickleball jokes, the history of the sport, links to useful pickleball videos, there's even a play list at the end. It's an enjoyable read, cleverly written, and well worth the time I spent learning about pickleball.

Fascinating Book
I'm too old, and frankly not athletic enough to play a sport. However, knowing people who play pickleball I thought to give this book a read. It is a fascinating deep dive into the subject by one who obviously loves the game. Included is an extensive playlist for families who want to make this their together time.
In a day and age where families don't spend time together as they once did, you could do worse than to read this book and consider taking the authors words to heart.
As for me, I'll be a spectator, but at least now I know more about the game.

This is a good book for beginners and those who want to take the sport seriously. My son is very sporty and loves to learn new sports. I liked the jokes and fun facts through it to break up the serious stuff, making it more interesting.

makes learning fun
This book would have been good if it simply taught the basics of pickleball
But it does much more, filled with fun facts, trivia and even some pretty good jokes.
Glossary and reference for further reading are the cherry on top
