They had it all. At least that's what Serenity thought of the bride and groom—her clients. She wanted what they had. Or at least, that's what she thought. She started a prayer journal of the man she wanted God to send her way. What she doesn't expect is for the man God sends to be someone she has always loved. Prayed for Him is a friends to lovers Christian romance.
This was a cute friends to lover romance. Not too deep. Enjoyed the faith aspects and the talk of prayer journaling. Roman and Serenity were amazing characters together and as individuals. Enjoyed the friend group as well.

i was so excited for this book & it ended up not being for me AT ALL.
i loved serenity as a female lead, but i just could not get behind Roman as a male lead, especially towards the end. like most friends to lovers this book struggled with giving readers a smooth transition to the relationship phase and felt so rushed i was so mad!!! the marriage plot line as well, was so off to me, & i could not understand why everyone was telling serenity to marry Roman despite them having been dating only for a month??!!!
The ending with them married felt incomplete, because the actual COUPLE serenity and Roman, didn’t go through anything??? they just got together and struggled with financial issues, that literally was it. I was so excited by this book, but it just did not live up to the cute idea of praying for your husband.

Title: Prayed for Him Author: Faith Arceneaux Publisher: Not the Last Page Reviewed By: Arlena Dean Rating: Five Review: Prayed for Him, by Faith Arceneaux
My Perception:
"Prayed for Him" by Faith Arceneaux is a beautiful story about two best friends, Rome and Serenity, who fall in love after Serenity prays for God to send her a man. The author expertly explores the challenges of transitioning from friends to lovers.
The book is well-written, and the author does a great job of keeping the reader engaged. I enjoyed how the author brought out the story's theme of faith and prayer. This book is an excellent choice for anyone who loves Christian romance novels.
Overall, I highly recommend "Prayed for Him". Faith Arceneaux has done an excellent job, and I look forward to reading more of her work.
Whew what can I say about this story? It was so good and I love a good friends to lovers storyline. We meet Roman and Serenity who have been best friends for years. Their friends and family think they could be something more but it takes a minute for their eyes to open and be on the same page. I loved the nuggets of wisdom sprinkled throughout the book. Truly enjoyed this story and loved the cover too. Can’t wait for this author’s next book!
The story had a fair amount of length and breadth, but it lacked depth. The journey from best friends to lovers was charming, but the development of their relationship felt underexplored. Roman's sudden proposal felt abrupt and rushed. While the feelings between the characters were apparent, the transition to marriage happened too quickly. A few more pages to flesh out their relationship would have made a significant difference. 3 ⭐️

Serenity prayed a specific prayer. That she could pause, live and add to her prayer indicated that she was willing to wait on God. I loved that she knew Roman had every quality she requested but didn't realize the love she had for him. Great friends to lovers story. It's a blessing to have the amazing friendship Roman and Serenity shared.
Wonderful book about faith and believing it will come to pass Faith know how to inspire her readers and through her stories give them relatable storylines and characters while imparting life lessons If you haven’t read any of her books this is a great one to start with I highly recommend it you will not be disappointed
Best friends to married. Cute as best friends from childhood to Rome deciding this is his girl and he best snatch her up. Serenity was inspired to pray for her man. At no point did she ever pray for it to be Rome. The two friends didn’t want to mess up their friendship, but pray and destiny was the overriding factor.
A beautiful story of friendship and love that blossoms over the years. Cast all your cares on God; what He has for you is for you no matter what obstacles are in your way. Trust in God and wait on Him.
I thought the story was very sweet. I love the friendships and friend group. Friends to lovers is my favorite romance type. I also like that it wasn't "rich" people as the main characters. I think it made the story more relatable.
This book was inspirational, romantic with a little twist for a big smile. Love how Serendity and Roman grew up together from childhood to university always friends until they became lovers who love the Lord. Love it. Good read faith
This is a wonderful reminder of how close the answers to our prayers truly are, despite differing circumstances. Not only do the prayers in the book produce, but God answers with better than what's asked.
This inspiring book is simple however, it represents an excellent idea of prayer and belief. Competently written ✍🏾 and captured my attention. Enjoyable journey!
I love everything about this book! It’s a great blueprint for starting your prayer journal not just for marriage and a husband but even a jumpstart for yourself
The first half had me worried, because there is oblivion, and then there's whatever the main characters were XD BUT I enjoyed the progression of their relationship and the subplot about the realities of adulting. A quick, easy and fun read !
