My students are obsessed with Geronimo Stilton. Obsessed. But, I'd never read a Geronimo Stilton book myself. I decided to see what all the excitement is about.

Geronimo Stilton is the Looney Toons of books. I have never been into Looney Toons, but I understand why kids like them. They are bright, they are silly, they are simple.

In You're Mine, Captain!, Geronimo and his friends find themselves stranded on planet Flurkon. The queen falls for Geronimo at first sight and plans to marry him and keep him on the planet forever (gasp)! While reading, I was offended by the characterization of the romantically aggressive queen. But, then I realized that she reminded me of The Muppets Miss Piggy, and I decided to let my annoyance go. I love the Muppets and I think Miss Piggy is hilarious. So, I recognize Geronimo Stilton for what it is: fun, simple, and politically incorrect. These books make kids excited about reading, and Your Mine, Captiain! will keep them entertained.

This was my first read in the new Stilton spinoff: Spacemice. I do not usually enjoy sci-fi but with traditional Stilton charm, this book is full of hilarious situations. One of my favorites was Trap eating the plates, etc at the banquet. Mmmmmm... flurk is yummy.

Somewhat of a quick read, but that ending with the queen and her advisor has be cringing. my student is oblivious to the political aspect of the ending but I'm not. Then again I might be reading too many royal intrigue and conspiracy novels. lol

Great job on finishing "You're Mine, Captain!" by Geronimo Stilton! This exciting story teaches us about courage and standing up for what is right, even when it's tough. Like Captain Geronimo, who bravely faced challenges on the sea, you can show courage in your daily life by standing up for your friends, trying new things, and speaking the truth. Remember, being brave doesn't mean you aren't scared—it means you do the right thing even when you are scared. We believe in you and your big heart!

I could have figured out the strange thing that Geronimo noticed-It was Cheese. Cheese had disappeared from the spaceship that the space mice was using- 'MouseStar1'

My Brother Review: I loved this book and I like the adventure in this and how funny it was and I loved how trap made all these jokes but the only thing I didn't liked that it talked about marriage a lot and romance so I didn't like that and the rest was good and I can't wait for more

My review: I liked it and had a great time reading it but the only thing was that it talked about marriage a lot and I was like little kids know about this but don't need to know a whole lot about it so but overall it was really great and can't wait to read more.
