Visually Disturbed (Fergus Browne #1) by V.M. Fahy is the story of a man who receives a gift that allows him to see future events. Fergus Browne is a psychiatrist, a logical minded man. A patient, Graham Bennett, has a gift for Fergus that will change his life forever, or at least until Fergus can find someone else. Will Fergus survive this mysterious wonder?
I like this story. I feel like I need to read it again though. So if you start reading it and are confused, I recommend reading it twice. It's not that it's badly writing. It's more like watching a David Lynch movie.

I love paranormal and mystery/crime, so this is a good combo. The pace is steady. This is a story set in Britain, so a note on UK English. The characters are quite interesting. Fergus has a wealthy family, a stalker, and a Russian family friend who might also be up to some wrongdoing.

The ending is a bit open-ended, and that's what confused me. I'd like to see what happens next. Perhaps, it's the sign of a great ending. An itch you can't scratch.

Have read this book twice now and would thoroughly recommend it. It has so many layers. It manages to be funny, gripping, tense, with so many twists and turns. I love the imagery and the unusual phrasing which totally makes the point and sometimes made me laugh out loud. So looking forward to Fergus Browne 2.
